Didn't get to catch it live, but the watch through was great. Yeah the dog-head hammers are pretty cool in that if you're just mashing the crap out of things, they fall well on each strike, sort of by their nature they self-orient on the way down and it 'generally' hits dead on the striking face well. Or at least that's how it feels when I use mine: though I do less choking up halfway on the handle and tend to do more high shoulder based swings using the full length of the handle... mostly because I'm old, crap and my elbow will wear out! :) But, when you need a peening surface to do a quick adjustment its annoying to pick up another hammer rather than have that on the opposite side of the hammer head
