KBS has more balls than MNET. So what if 'fans' backlash? Minhyun is equal parts NU'EST, equal parts Wanna One. You can't just take that away from him and not show footage of him demonstrating that.
It's because they know what Yoo Jae Suk could do. You disrespect him and the whole Variety world will turn their back on Wannaone. Wannaone needs variety shows to boost their popularity.
My point was that fans backlashed to Minhyun's comments about Nuest in this HT episode. KBS could have prevented that by not airing these parts, but they chose to do so anyway. Not sure where you're going with the whole disrespecting thing but yeah YJS is god.

Wanna One is a temporary group that will disband on the 31 december 2018. After that the members will return to their companies/Groups and continue to promote with them, Minhyun will return to nu'est. The problem with Minhyun not being able to even interact with his group members is because some obsessed wannables (wanna ones fandom) won't accept that Wanna One will disband and sees Minyun only as a member of w1 and thus they for some crazy reason won't let him be with his groupmates because they rhink it is just a part of his past or something. Ps. I'ts really late so that probably came out as a mess

I really have mixed feelings about Mnet like Dongho got noticed because of evil editing and Jonghyun & Dongho didn't make it to W1 because of them revealing the 4 "cut-line" trainees but it turned the best for nu'est

No matter what so called fans like to think, Minhyun will ALWAYS be NU'EST first. He went through hell and back and ignoring the history he has with them is an INSULT to Minhyun and the work he's done. Don't sully the name of Wanna One just cause you can't let one member go. This band wasn't made as a punishment nor a prison sentence. The boys are allowed to have friends outside of this band and I don't see why people are forgetting that. Let's face it Minhyun isn't gonna be there for ever, and joining W1 doesn't mean you severe of all your ties with your old band and company. Get a grip, seriously, and stop making their lives worse, not just Minhyun.

Its been four years and now that wanna one will be back i hope fans doesnt make this an issue again. i think its beautiful that idols are friends with each other. i dont see any problem with them having friends outside the group. esp minhyun who spent time with wanna one. minhyun's friendship with nuest is strong. he made friends with wanna one. nuest making friends with wanna one which isnt hard because theyve been together in p101. i think thats beautiful. just love no hate.

Meklavier seriously? Our fandom was real small in the beginning mainly consisting of international fans when Korean fans began to fall off because pledis threw Nu'est aside. I would have loved to go to their fan signing but I was still in school then and didn't have my own job. My parents weren't going to pay for my plane ticket and send me off to Korea just to meet a kpop group even though I begged. I was fourteen then so obviously I couldn't do much to support them except write to them behind a computer screen and hope they saw it. Although I couldn't get my parents to buy me a trip to Korea I did convince them to buy me an album every year for my birthday. Now that I'm nineteen and have a job and moved in with roommates I can do what I want with my own money. Obviously, it goes without saying that I'll be supporting them all with everything I've got. Don't tell us how much of a fan we are or aren't based on something we can't control.

I'm sure Minhyun is so proud of his brothers now. They sold out 10,000 seats in 3 minutes at their fan meet and 25,000 people went online crashing the website. They have about 7 to 8 songs in the top 100 right now including all the songs from their new album and Hello from 2013. They had two wins. They sold more than 209,000 albums in one week making them the first sub-unit to do that; the first group with under 7 members and the 4th group behind EXO; BTS; and Wanna One and 11th overall. They have been nominated two places in the Mama Awards and is currently in 3rd place behind EXO and GOT7. So I'm sure he is happy now that they can celebrate together being a success. I'm sure they will continue to be a success and when Minhyun comes back I know they will make happier memories together. I hope that the fans from Wanna One will continue to support Minhyun when he goes back to Nu'est.
The story Minhyun mentioned about Jaesuk paying for their meal, I recall reading about that a few years back. At that time, I was thinking Jaesuk probably doesn't know NU'EST and their awesome music and I guess my hunches were right (as Jaesuk confessed). Part of me was also stupidly wishing after that encounter, NU'EST would be invited as guests on Running Man. Haha. Oh well. Hopefully now, he'll remember them always and maybe one day we'll finally get to see NU'EST (with Minhyun of course) on RM!! 😊😊😊😊😊

I´m glad Nu'est is getting more attention and all their effort is starting to reward them, they were one of the first groups I knew when I just got into Kpop, It pained me to see them go to Produce 101 after so many years since their debut, but I guess it was worth it, I hope now they wishes can become reality and more people can start to look at them.

the rule is that while the Wanna One members are promoting under Wanna One, they can' t promote with their companies. this is due to all the complaints that came from the I.O.I fans who were annoyed by people like Sejeong, Mina, Yeonjung, etc. leaving midway through the year to promote with their own groups so now mnet won't let any wanna one members promote anywhere else until they disband :')
i can understand that rule to a certain extent (bec business) but what bothers me is how 'fans' seem to make it as if nu'est cannot even talk to each other or about each other and be seen together interacting. That's too much 😠😭

watching this (again) i remember when dongho said that nu'est are more than friends, more than a family; they're always their first thought, they couldn't live without each other. you can watch it when they go alone to a show, how they always name some member or nu'est: "oh mingi would love it" "with nu'est we do this too", they can't stop thinking about each other. they have soulmate connection and that's beautiful.

The hates people throw to minhyun and nuest when they mentioning/interacting to each other actually starting ever since the begining of Produce 101. The only debuted trainees that got hates from people (both Korean and international fans) bcs they were already debuted were Pledis' trainees, when about 1/3 of 101 contestants already made their debut before p101. and the hates still continuing after one of them debuting as wanna one. they just hate nuest generally, so they will make issue over everything eventho it's not a problem at all. Those toxic people always thinking that "double/individual promotion" contract rule is also about "not mentioning each other", but this is totally wrong. they simply have double standard for nuest. why? because if the actual issue is "mentioning each other is double promotion" then it will be applied to all the debuted-trainee members of Wanna One. But they only throw ruckus to Minhyun and his original group, meanwhile sungwoon werent treated the same way when he mentioned his group in his letter to support their comeback (i dont hate sungwoon and hotshot, i stated this only for comparison). it is just purely DOUBLE STANDARD SINCE THE VERY BEGINING.

There was another time MinHyun cried, but he held his tears. ALl of them did. It was on a Japanese Concert, when JR read his letter and gave them messages. He could not even sing his part because he was holding back the tears. And the song was a killer ballad, too.

I've been a L O.V.E. since sleep talking and honestly I cried when I heard Nu'est was going to p101 especially without Aron, but seeing all the L.O.V.E.'S comments, I'm so proud of how far Nu'est has come. I have always been a L.O.V.E ever since Action era, and now theyre finally getting the attention they deserve. It was so sad to hear Minhyun say, "The top 11 was already announced but all 3 of them were still standing there." I thought the same as Minhyun too, I thought just one of them with minhyun would make it to the top 11. As a L.O.V.E for 6 years, I am very happy that their career nowadays has been working so well and they became very successful.
I don't think I can ever be okay about Jonghyun not being in the top 11. Whenever I think about it, I still cry to this day. He deserved so much better.
