What people fail to realise is altough Mavs were winning for the past 2 weeks they were shooting horrible from 3, but winning the paint. This game they were shooting great and this is the outcome. Scary team

Gafford and PJ Washington were the absolute perfect additions to this team. If no one gets injured and they keep playing like this, Mavs really do have a chance at winning!

The perfect role fo him. And look at that, he isnt forced to play a big role and people stop hating him. For me he was never the problem. Our FO just couldnt find anyone better untill this season.

Mavs also were the 2nd most injured team this season and they're still in a playoff spot despite all that. Tatum has mid stats despite being in a very easy eastern conference and Luka has the most insane stats this year, stop deluding yourself

He did it without murray and mpj. There are levels to this. And the help you are talking about are will barton, austin rivers, jeff green and monte morris. AG was the only " help" worth mentioning.

when Tim Hardaway is on the Mav.s will smoke any team in the NBA. Something about how his game goes does the Mav.s. ln the play-offs if he is hitting as the 6th man they are deadly.
We know Luka and Kyrie will always perform well so the other to perform well is crucial especially THJ. But the thing about THJ is that when he got cold it takes so many games for him to get hot again. On a scale 1-100, he either gave you 80 or 5 and nothing in between.

I dont know why it took the Mavs front office SO LONG to realize that the only thing they need are 1-2 competent bigs. I’ve been saying for years that you cannot play with Powell as ur starting C. But all of that aside, this new Mavs team with Gafford, Lively and PJ is scary af. They are gonna be a nightmare matchup for anyone in the playoffs, especially having Luka and Kyrie as well…

Mavs are finally clicking, Gafford and PJ where such a great addition to the team because Luka and kyrie know how to elevate their game, also Luka loves to find the open 3 for his team mates and that's something he is getting better at

And what's crazy is that these past few games they are winning WITHOUT the shots falling. I may be a biased Mavs fan but after seeing this team on a 'do or die' on their 3pt shots falling and now they are an all-rounded team (lobs, mid-range jumper, 3pt if falls) makes me so damn happy 😄

@@JohnDoe-uy9mzAllways depends on the opponent. Maxi is by far the best defender against teams playing 5 out with no post big. The good thing is, we now have options and can play different styles. We couldnt do that before the trade.

The Mavs have been off on their 3 game for a while now, but were able to compensate with incredible play in the paint. THIS is what happens when they are consistent with 3 shooting AND have their dominant paint game??? The rest of the West better look out!

IMO he plays roughly the same way, what's game changing is that he's making extra effort on D this season and of course with Kyrie on the floor he can feel more at ease cause he knows he doesn't have to do it alone. So better team and defensive effort, he's better than ever but play style has not changed.

@@CoachRJ334 Fair enough, this team is probably the best he's worked with and he's matured when it comes to the refs. It's good that he doesn't have to get pressured into making tough shots out of fear his teammates won't chip in.
If Luka and Kyrie are focused, every team should be afraid to face them. Also, Gafford brings what they needed on the paint. If they're healthy and focus, things are gonna be tough for their rivals.
If Dallas can get Vezenkov on their team, that would be one hell of a partnership with Luka.
