  • some people wondering , there is some other instrumental but u don’t see on the video and why ? . We are live-recording keyboard , drums , sax , bass . but also playing backing truck which has guitar , other horn etc ( the instruments u don’t see on the video ) . MiMi is hearing the click and the truck during performance in ear 👂 . So we can much with the truck too . ..Tried to break it down for non-musician people but sorry if it’s hard to understand .🥲🙏

    • Love it! And great job explaining the click track to non-musicians. Anytime you hear instruments you don't see folks, it's a click track, often just called a "track" or "playing (singing) to track".

      @onenamlit3861@onenamlit38612 жыл бұрын
    • Well, I guess she means backing tracks that are pre-recorded and played back togther with a click. The click gives the drummer an accoustic guidance that she plays along with to keep the band and the pre-recorded tracks in sync.

Still harder to find the music these days in the U.S. It kind of reminds me of some of the other popular music from the U.S. from back in the 70's and 80's also. Music that got less and less play here but was still making hits in the UK through the 2000's. Impressed me to be honest. The same goes for Jazz artist from the 40's and 50's. The music lived on to a larger audience but on a different continent.
