A late winner from Bernardo Silva saw Manchester City secure a place in the FA Cup final with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea.
The winger smashed home a low strike from Kevin De Bruyne’s cross to win the semi-final at Wembley and grab a place in the final for a second successive year after last season’s triumph over Manchester United.
It was a performance full of character from Pep Guardiola’s side after a draining exit from the Champions League in midweek, following our penalty shootout defeat to Real Madrid.

Commentator got completely hysterical by the end. Nothing at the field matched his excitement.
You could tell City were leggy, but they dug in, dug deep, and hung in. The plan was obviously Doku as the impact player, at some point in the 2nd half when Chelsea were tired, and he definitely made the difference.

We need to be more bold with our chances and not just tick around. This was such a problem against madrid and was exposed again today. Except for kdb, doku and silva no one takes the risk. This was one of our strengths last season but has been a problem this season because of the departure of mahrez and gundogan. Kovacic is decent but is more of a rodri type player and not like gundogan. Nunes and doku need more time.
I expected a lot more from Rodri who often scored from distances...he really reluctant to shoots lately
It's most probably to do with pep wanting to keep possession a lot more. Like last season we had around 60 % possession on average but this season we have more than 65%. The players are most probably afraid to lose possession.@@bosenngantor9160

Probably why halaand has been struggling a lot, they just continue passing the balls to the side ways. Last season city also employed the long ball tactics because of halaand but this season its completely gone.
