Rossi is one of the few guys on the team that will actually get in the corners. Trading him would be insane!

If the return for Rossi is David Jiricek or Kent Johnson, I’m completely on board. Anything less than that would be a mistake to me. You’re not getting a top 10 pick for him, so that return isn’t enough. My only concern is if it’s Jiricek you’ve just blown a hole in the top 6 that was already having tremendous difficulty with depth.
David Juricek needs to play better defense. If he did, he would have stuck with Columbus. Kent Johnson isn't much bigger than Rossi, and he hasn't played anywhere near as well. Columbus had to send him back down because he couldn't play both ways.
@@Too-Odd I’m fully of the belief that Columbus has a large role in the struggles of most of their prospects to succeed. If Rossi goes there, I think he struggles mightily
@@flyervoracek5954 Minnesota has a large role in the struggles of most of their prospects. The Wild do need some larger player, especially on defense, but good teams use the talent they have the best way possible. Having Rossi on the checking line his first year was silly.

No way the Caps move Ryan Leonard for Rossi unless he plays out his college years and threatens to go free agent. That isn't likely to happen.

He’ll be shopped, but GOTTA hope they’d only entertain a like-for-like, change of scenery type of trade. So we pray 🤲
Hate it. Stupid signings of terrible vets with nmc is what caused this.
Bill Guerin protects the players who were like him.
And those signing make keeping Rossi even more important two or three years down the line.
