  • I miss my 4.2 wagon so much 😢😢😢 rest in peace old fellow. You were such a comvy car, you had features I never knew I neen and now I miss! We had so much fun together! The ice and snow, the bmw's and Benz and all the other's we watched disappearing in the review mirror... No other car touched me so much. Every time I see one of your brothers I feel this thorn in my heart.

    • @@studiocalder818 Not even comparable as it doesn't even have a center differential. It is a part time manually activated system like most Jeeps and trucks, a very rudimentary system. The only thing special about the Fiat Panda is that is such a small vehicle to have such a system equipped, but the reason for part time systems anyways is to keep it cheap, not because it has any performance advantages.

    • @@mpr1560 It has friction/studdless winter tyres (M+S), not summer. If you pause and look at the tread pattern you can see the small lines between the "normal" tread pattern. That is only found in winter tyres. Easiest way to tell normal summer from M+S if you cant see the sidewall.

    • Can do the same with A/S Tires. Not all Audi's have the True Quattro system. Only A4 A5 A6 and R8 have the quality system. And tell that to a Jeep, Ford, BMW, Merc or even Subaru. More than just the tires.

  • Guys ofc that winter tires helps a lot but still some of these cars were under 60cm snow and still pullin like a crazy , Subaru and Mitsubishi also got great 4x4 system , if am living in the place with a lot of snow one of those 3 would be my top picks

  • i think it would help the truck drivers, if the trailers had electric motors on the axles of the trailers, like that they would rather not get stuck on slippery roads. the trailer has a huge surface to hold a large ammount of solar panels, that would provide some electricity to the electric motors in the trailer and in the truck, fuel consumption would be less.

    • The reason almost no truck has more then one drive axle is weight. Every KG of extra weight on the truck is a KG of less load capacity, and as a result less money per delivery. This is also why no truck carries a spare tyre etc.

    • @@immDroidz i wonder how that could be made, a truck with electric motors in the trailers axles and the whole truck including its trailer not to heavy either. maybe a smaller dieselengine, that weighs less, and with the weight of the electric motors the truck would weight about same as before. when driving of from 0mph, like at traffic lights or when maneuvering the trailer for loading/unloading the load, then the fuel consumption is very high compared to driving at a constant speed like 40mph. electric motors that help driving of would therefor decrease the fuel consumption alot, not to mention only that problem with getting stuck on a slippery road. if that is done well, then the dieseltruck with electric motors on the trailer would be i think far more practical and cost less.

    • @@PhantomWoIf A combustion engine with fuel weighs way less then an electric motor with batteries. It's a great idea, but unfortunately the technology is not there yet. As of now, liquid fuel is way more, and i mean WAAAY more energy dense then any battery. As an example, the electric version of the VW golf's empty weight is 1615 kg. The 2.0 Diesel golf is 1318 kg. The electric golf has a range just shy of 200km, while the diesel has a range of around 1000 Km before needing refueling. In this scenario, the electric weights ~20% more while loosing ~80% of the range. Not very good if you're looking for low weight and long distance travel.

    • why solar? just have regenerative breaking from an electric motor on the rear axle, store it in a battery and use it to give the truck a bit of a push when the tractor starts slipping. its how awd in some Toyota Hybrids work. not really all that when the car is moving but enough to get it unstuck and maybe push it along at a slow speeds. the problem is it would amount to both price and weight plus it it would probably have to be a tech both tractor and trailor have(they are currently universally compatible across brands from what i know).

    • Have winter when its winter and summer in summer..all seasons is useless,live in northern sweden..sometimes it is unplowed for many miles..make a huge difference in what tires you have..and last video clip shows why you should have winter tires on a quattro..because you can drive in very deep snow without any problems

    • Subaru in my experience blown head gaskets and medium quality. Own also a Mk4 golf tdi 4 motion. Less problematic, much more reliable.

  • nice video this 😁i have a 2002 audi a4 1.9tdi with custom induction kits and stage 1 remap and it flies at 170bhp, i have Ronal all round on 235/35/18 and suspension is lowered all round 30mm, it looks very low bareley half inch gap between top of tyres and tyre...car is mettalic graphite grey alloys are the same colour it has been debadged and one origianl red S badge on left of tail gate and zenon headlamp conversion and clolour coded headlamp eyebrows..custom sports exhaust is next....😉

    • you mean ALL WHEEL DRIVE,awd,people never get it right,i have a jacked up big mud truck chevy with 35 inch mud tires because its 4 wheel drive,i had a all wheel drive subi hatchback before they stopped making them,fun cars to drive,quick but not fast just really fun,tires play a very important roll,people make fun of people in the southern states saying they dont know how to drive in the snow,its because we have summer tires here,not a extra set of snow rims and tires like up north.

  • ihr die dieses Video gedreht haben, vergesst offensichtlich daß das Quattro System wirklich nicht das allerbeste ist, da gibt es z.B. das System von Toyota, von Mercedes und das x-Drive von BMW, die letzt genannten hatten schon mehrere Tests überstanden, bei allen kommt heraus, daß ein x-drive mit dem Quattro völlig gleichwertig ist, nur daß das x-drive auch anders arbeitet, im vergleich zu Audi ist das x-drive auch nicht spektakulär wie das von Audi, entscheidend ist aber, daß das x-drive etwas gefühlvoller und damit langsamer arbeitet und damit für den Fahrer eine sehr sichere Kontrolle über das Fahrzeug darstellt, der Audi dagegen ist aus vielen Situationen zu schn ell raus gekommen, was even nicht so sicher ist für den Fahrer dafür halt aber spektakulär,,, mit geht Sicherheit vor in allen Situationen, das ist mir viel mehr Wert als auf diesen doofen und eben langweiligen AAAAAhhh Effekte ziel Diese Ah Effekte ist was für Machos oder möchte gern Männer. Ja manche Mädels stehen ja sowas. Die Hauptsache ist doch, daß es den Audi Fans um Spektakuläres geht, ums aaaaaahhhh cool !!! Audi und VW beste Autos der Welt, glaubt nur ruhig daran.

    • Normally, the intake and air filter are built to stop that. But there are limits. But with snow, it takes A LOT to hydrolock the engine

  • Le Audi A6 A4 A8 con il sistema tools in centrale erano imbattibili indipendentemente dalle gomme. Purtroppo le Audi oggi quel tipo di trazione integrale non lo usano più perché sono passati alla elettronica. Peccato perché così hanno perso un sacco di clienti

  • Quattro with the wrong tyres = zero traction. Idem with X-drive ... with wide M-package tyres which I drive.

    • @@egalegal1666 - And you're right about that. The tires are factory fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Verde, so all-season tires. With a current temperature of 15 degrees, they are ideal. When it's too cold too hard and absolutely no grip in powder snow. When the weather is too hot, the rubber is too flexible. Also Run Flat by default, so basically worthless. But the ideal for use all year round.

  • Quatro? No just a 4x4 vehicle like a Mercedes 4 matic, a tesla dual motor or a bmw x-drive. Good tires makes the diverence
