  • Sarah congratulations on your wedding and I wish you all the best ! I can't wait to see your wedding dress...I absolutely love the last blouse, it's so classy and elegant, I know it's outside of your comfort zone but I really think that looks great on you. God bless you, love from TN, USA

  • Love the knit tops. Very nice. Weddings are stressful as heck so hopefully you'll indulge in the French tradition of self care.

  • Great video, thanks again for the inspo! I made the Seamwork Astoria (twice). The first one was pretty short and snug so I gifted it to my daughter and made another in the next size + 3" to the length, for me. It's a bit too roomy so I'm going back again for #3. It is a great pattern. I'm so impressed with how much you are able to get out of a meter or two of fabric -very impressive! I love the wrap blouse and am adding that to my list. Thank you again for taking the time to make this video. I love to see what you are up to (sewing-wise) as your style is elegant, classic and timeless. Sheila

  • Lovely makes! I think I would cut the vest top off at the natural waist and finish the hem with elastic. This would gather the fabric more evenly and if worn with higher waisted skirts or trousers the gathered hem could still be tucked in. I love the wrap top. I think I might have to give that one a go myself. Good luck for your wedding. I’m looking forward to seeing how your dress turns out 🙂

  • I always love to see what you've made Sarah! Your sewing is so precise and the fit on the top you're wearing is perfect. As soon as I saw you on screen, I wondered, "Did she make that top?" The fit, matching the cable knit - amazing! I also love your wrap top at the end. Wrap tops suit you so well. I would say that should be your "go to" in the future 😊 Thank you for another lovely video! I am looking forward to seeing your wedding pictures. I'm sure it will be all so incredibly beautiful, just like you ☺

    • Oh, thank you so much for your kind words! ❤️ I'm so glad you noticed the matching cable pattern on the dress I was wearing, I did indeed spend a lot of time on it 🤣

  • Glad you’re recording all this. It will be “fun later” when you can watch together with your soon-to-be husband and reminisce how you overcame it all. Just show up for the ceremony and keep smiling!

  • Love your wrap top, Sarah! I think your cream cami is lovely too. We are always critical of our own makes. I was inspired by you to make a Sauvie sundress recently and I wore it on a holiday to Dubai. I didn’t do the waisted version so it was super comfortable but I have some viscose to try that now too. Just need some good weather soon in the UK. Good luck with your wedding dress, can’t wait to see it!

  • Are you going to have a pièce montée for dessert? That's one of the few French traditions I brought to my Scottish wedding. I wish you bags of luck for your wedding dress! Remember not to accidentally cut into it like I did for my friend's dress 😬😬😬 luckily she lost weight and we had to take in that bit 😂

    • Thank you for the question and well wishes! And oh my goodness, I'm glad that your friend's dress turned out well, what stress! So far, my biggest mistake has been ordering 7 meters of the wrong fabric (😓), but nothing non-reversible so far! 🤞
