If that thing has a dedicated haptic button on the headset, it'd be super useful for those who want to frequently switch back and forth. If not, then going into the app all the time could get annoying can't it?

As far as i know it doenst have a ddedicated button for that. but why would you it midgame? the software is actually pretty good, just leave it minimized and one click to turnon/off.
In the software you can make profiles, so you could make one called "Desktop" with Haptics disabled, and other ones for apps that you would want Haptics on. You link the profiles to the apps, and it switches them automatically.
my headset lets me feel sound too, i put on full volume and i can feel my ear drums being ripped out of my head and bleeding terribly

its probably because they would be unsure of how the market would respond to this.. Afterall, your average competitive gamer is looking for the best headset, not the one that you can feel the vibrations of the sound.. Its just a niche product that will mostly likely only appeal to players who seek emersion.

Compare them to steel series artis pro........i think they are better. Specially if u have both console and PC (or just a console). I would bet my money on them , specially since u can use both wired and wireless source at the same time, specially useful for something like Nintendo switch for voice chat. I think u are gonna need it after the launch of the Nintendo switch's online service, for multi player ofc.
Arctic has a proper DAC AMP with it; which gives you better clarity and crisp audio. Dacs and amp's remove the muffled veil in audio, and since the Razer doesn't have one it will sound muffled

So glad you mentioned CS:GO as that’s my primary game, I’m kind of thinking about getting the regular Nari without the haptic feedback though.
Although this new headphones met be awesome, I think they are not the first with this “vibrating” thing. I’m not an expert of vibrating tech and I don’t know if it is the same, but when I was younger I had a PlayStation Elite headphone that vibrates with gunshots in games and with bass in music, with a feature called “bass impact”. And that headphone was awesome, in both sound quality and the vibrating, but the construction quality made it last no more then 3 years... I expect great things from this new line from razer, I missed this “bass impact” and I couldn’t find no other one that had this when I had to buy a new headphone...
Yeah I had 2 sets crack on me. Very cheaply made but I wish they made a new version with better build quality.
Yeah. The Pulse Elites had great sound and the bass impact was perfectly calibrated. Rubbish construction though. 3D printed a fix to my second pair. Still going strong.

I have these and i got them on amazon for 116 and they're the best headphones i've ever used. playing games like battlefield is absolutely incredible and sometimes the explosions scare me, it really does immerse you in games. do buy if ur on the fence about them I promise u wont regret
Have you tried the skull candy crushers? are these comparable to those? also any chance that Razer will make a hardware toggle for the Effect (That consideration may make them that much more appealing to Consumers). 8 hours isn't great, but also isn't a massive step down from their Man'O'War headset(which gets roughly 12) and with the added haptics it's understandable. Maybe you can also throw them the suggestion of adding a quick charge capability. All in All they sound like a true to the name Razer product. I'm Interested in seeing how they turn out.

Ernest Definitely not worth the price theyre asking... without the haptic bass, the crushers audio had such a narrow sound stage, and the vocals sounded so distant, even with my LG V30 (that has a DAC AMP on it); I couldn't make it sound good. like I said, they need lots of refinements to make it top grade, but for that price, might as well get something that's proper audiophile quality

I have a sentey arches gaming headset, it has a vibration unit, 5.1 surround and a microphone that sounds amazing.
Ravcore Dynamite 7.1 - around 55USD, USB instead of wireless, but on paper seems like it does the same thing for 1/4 of price, and I had these on my head, and it felt really nice, and it wasn't going crazy when there is a lot going on in the game/movie

Normally i've strived away from MOST razer products from bad previous experience, but I've been using my razer kraken headset for almost 5 years now with no hitches, it still works perfect. This might just be worth looking into.

bought my corsair hs70 se wireless headphone for 100 and they work beautifully. this was after i bought a pair of razer tournament editions the razers sounded hollow and flat which i read was a software thing couldnt figure it out then went back for an exhange... glad i did best headphone ive ever owned by far
Example would be BF1, you could feel the rumbling of a big tank driving nearby. Awsome experience. Also one is in GTA5, driving past a car gives a suddle vibration of wind when passing a car.
I'd consider these if they weren't the size of elephant ears, I think I'll just stick to my good looking Crusher wireless 4 now.

@@harshaldhingra8549 Lmao don't compare the Crushers to Razer gaming headset. I own a Crusher Wireless and have tested multiple times razer headsets and I can clearly tell the Crushers are better. Sure Crushers don't have Dolby Surround and all but its not a gaming headset after all. Plus Razer headset are quite uncomfortable after wearing them for an hour.

I love Razer stuff, i've had keyboards, mice and the stealth ultrabook, these look cool however I think Scullcandy has a better deal and product. Skullcrusher wireless bluetooth with haptic is $149 U.S. and you could go wired for $99. I have both and I love the wireless, also it has 40 hrs battery life. But if Razer stuff is your thing I totally get it, you do you :) great video Dave!
