I mean he defineitly did. he's a pro boxer and mcgregor has had no pro fights. based on this common sense as well as interviews and video footage its pretty obvious that it was a close spar.

CaMRoNLeGenD Except he doesn't at all, it's an entirely different dynamic with different worries at play. Conor doesn't have his hands high, he has them spread out in front to catch and parry, in boxing you build a glove wall around your face.

People keep talking about McGregor's POWER. Floyd as fought and defeated Canelo, Mosley, Cotto, Correles, Maidana, Pacman, etc., not to mention sparring with guys like Errol Spence Jr. I guarantee you ALL OF THEM hit HARDER than McGregor and definitely box better. People act like Floyd has never faced anyone with power. Most fighters he's fought probably hit as hard as McGregor.

His fanbase=Cancer but so is the Floyd fanbase. You have to realize that Floyd is 40 years old now, He won't be able to move like he used to or have the same power. The last time he knocked anyone out was almost a decade ago.You don't have to be a Conor fan to see he is bigger/longer reach/more weight, That all counts on fight night.
Viewing Just because Mayweather is not the fighter he was years ago, that doesn't mean that he lacks what it takes to easily defeat the Irish hype job. McGregor is not larger enough for the physical disparity between him and Floyd to make a substantial difference - and Mayweather has come up against larger boxers with the power/skill/experience to actually make those differences matter in the ring.
@The Brocialist I don't even know half of the people he fought. They look built like taxi drivers. Mayweather got tagged by multiple of his opponents then he starts running. Also Conor will outweigh him on fight night. I don't like Conor or his arrogant ego but i cannot sit here and support a wife beater in Floyd. His fighting someone with bigger reach/Southpaw/height/weight advantage on fight night, Those are the kryptonite Floyd.

That was actually a good analogy and I said the same thing a few weeks ago. This is extremely similar to the Gatti Mayweather fight. Someone with hands of stone against someone with way to much speed. Only difference is Gatti was Wayyyyy smaller then Mayweather. Conor actually has the size advantage in this one.

Conor's accuracy and timing is being underestimated because this is FOOKING BOXING
It's so obvious that Floyd will knock Conor out in this fight. Floyd is 40 years old and doesn't have "knock out power" or the speed he used to have, but it's pretty clear to me that Floyd will be able to avoid punches and put together sharp combinations. Conor has a strong chin and can definitely take a punch or kick ...but can he take 10? Can he take them from angles he's just not used to? Will he make a mistake when he can't land that left and is being humiliated? Many people say that Floyd has not knocked out a fighter in years, but they forget that as a champion he's facing other gifted fighters and it becomes harder to knock people out. I just think the UFC better come up with a plan for the aftermath. Conor could loose this fight and go on to loose his next MMA fight, and with Jon Jones out, that would be a disaster for the UFC.
