i mean... the most obvious evidence is probably entry 17. it's unused but alphys has her own entry 17 that just goes over the same stuff as the others, the dt experiments, flowey, her rapid mental decline as both go horribly wrong, which pokes a hole in the fact that gaster's entry is also numbered entry 17, so it's more likely he just had his own logs for his experiments, and the "DARK DARKER YET DARKER" entry in the files is just. the 17th entry. on his experiments with darkness or the dark worlds or whatever he's doing.

she didn't have the 'simple choice' to stop the experiment nor was she nervous, she was experimenting DT on monsterkind as an attempt to extent the longevity of their souls after death, expectedly, knowing how DT and monsters don't do well together, the experiment failed, and she's forced to live with that guilt. she isn't evil, she's flawed, like everyone else. and we're talking about some soulless monster who tried to kill everyone and repeatedly torture frisk (flowey) here.

@@inciniumz4671 Certain Undertale fanatics think that they shouldn’t be guilt tripped for committing a genocide of an entire species because certain members killed humans who seemingly jumped down a mountain to die. They also think that monster magical communication is super deadly packing heat, which, is only the case if the monster actually wants to kill you. In my point earlier, the game explicitly states that self defense would be justified to an extent, but due to you being a time god, you kind of have an Uncle Ben Platitude to not do the murder. Heck, most monsters can be spared by roughing them up until they don’t want to fight.

i mean... the most obvious evidence is probably entry 17. it's unused but alphys has her own entry 17 that just goes over the same stuff as the others, the dt experiments, flowey, her rapid mental decline as both go horribly wrong, which pokes a hole in the fact that gaster's entry is also numbered entry 17, so it's more likely he just had his own logs for his experiments, and the "DARK DARKER YET DARKER" entry in the files is just. the 17th entry. on his experiments with darkness or the dark worlds or whatever he's doing.

They also think that monster magical communication is super deadly packing heat, which, is only the case if the monster actually wants to kill you. In my point earlier, the game explicitly states that self defense would be justified to an extent, but due to you being a time god, you kind of have an Uncle Ben Platitude to not do the murder. Heck, most monsters can be spared by roughing them up until they don’t want to fight.
