I wasn’t judging Ninaki for selling the photo album in this video… just interested. You see at the time it did make people dismiss her story, which was a pity because it was true! I ask you because it is a moral dilemma! ❤
As I watched your video, and you talked about the photo album, the thought crossed my mind...well she was right! It's a shame though..it's as though Meghan Markle's desire for fame, which she now has plenty of, has altered her personality. Careful what you wish for you may get it.
I actually agree with you, Shauna. I think it would have been a more powerful statement if she didn't accept any money. I understand why she accepted money for it, though.
Being raised around religion, I never hear Harry (or Megan) speak from a place of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. His grandmother, now his father is the head of the Church of England for goodness sake. Harry should read the good book instead of writing his book. 🙏😊
My opinion is that it undermines her character but not her story. Making money off of a narcissistic friendship seems kind of poetic and I can understand the EMOTIONS behind it but most likely wouldn't do it myself. I can't dismiss the action as indicative of anything but 'emotional thinking', an oft-used term of another commentator who has discussed Narcissism at length.

Gosh, Ninaki’s parents took her on a trip to Europe, Buckingham Palace and let her stay their home after school. She’s so UNGRATEFUL! Honestly, nobody can be truly happy if they are not grateful, even for the wealth and privileges of Royalty!

Good on Ninaki for selling the photos. She was probably sickened by Meghan's lies and by what she did to Trevor and was putting the record straight. There seems to be something seriously wrong with a person who is so horrible to old friends and then goes about telling everyone how kind she herself is and how her purpose in life is to bring joy.

In the news, she seems to have a new best friend every other day. That makes me uncomfortable.
The fact that she took money for the photos doesn’t change anything about me again. I say good on her if she was able to help expose a vicious narcissist.
Ninanki’s credibility is certainly high with me. I think she should write a book. She probably knows the secret of where Doria was for those missing years as well!
I’d say she knows everything! I think she is very credible but some people dismissed what she was saying because of selling the photos… which is a pity.
She should write a book and finally tell the world where was Doria for 10 years???

No, it doesn't undermine her story, people need money to live, there is no shame in doing this whatsoever - for anyone; you are more a fool if you don't - it's not like she lied, she simply gave her version. Had they been friends, had MM treated her friend and others kindly, then I doubt Ninaki would have come forward at all. MM reaps what she sows I'm afraid, there is no loyalty in any of her relationships, and that is on her and only her. We will see this even more clearly in the future when MM herself will dish the dirt on Harry - with no consideration for her childrens feelings at all - watch this space. Not forgetting MM sells stories for a living.

Though the morality is questionable, I think selling an album of pictures of a former friend who abandoned a dog she fought so hard to adopt and left her husband so nonchalantly while also acting like she's the next Marilyn Monroe or something just because she's appears on a cable tv show with a mediocre audience for a hefty sound of money, isn't much of an issue. That, and I don't think Ninaki would care to kiss and make up so she doesn't have anything to lose with Meghan aside from gaining money and shedding some truth.

Ninaki figured out Markle was a narcissist and cut her off. Markle has no long term friends and Harry is to arrogant and entitled to see or here this information. I don’t blame her for selling the photos. $150k Is a lot of money.

Well unfortunately a lot of people at the time dismissed her because she sold the photos which was a pity because she had a very believable story to tell. That’s what I meant. I don’t stand in any judgement just observing that it did make people trust her a little less.
I do not think it was about the money. The pictures gave credibility that she was who she said she is. Without the pix MM would have found a way to lie about the relationship and made Nikki look like a liar. . Nikki was warning people and they were her photos so if she got a fee so what . This was not about a hurt friend only, it was about someone who was alarmed by MM's lies and wanted to warn people . If she had not sold the pictures would anyone have believed Nikki???? Nikki liked Thomas, Trevor and was turned off by MM's bighead and never ending lies.
It's incredible how M has this ability to charm people & get them in & have an intense relationship with them & then suddenly turn once she has got what she wants or they no longer serve a purpose. She seems to have left many broken & bewildered people in her path.

Narcissist can be very charming when they want. They do this to give the person they are manipulating a false sense of them, therefore making it easier to manipulate them.

You just described the text book behaviour of a Narcissist. The initial love bombing, coming on strong and fast. Mirroring your kindness and making you feel so special. Drawing your character traits and getting fuel from your devotion. As soon as they have used everything they can, they are done. They move on with zero emotion.

Unfortunately, I am of the opinion that she will never drop Harry unless he's totally destroyed and useless. He's her meal ticket. And his kids. Everything she has now was because of H and she won't find anyone with more clout and stature. She's no Jackie O or Princess Diana. 😝 She can't stand him yet had to still tote him out to get photo ops and headlines. Without H or his family, she can't even get a line edgewise on tabloids.

I would sell a photo album of a friend?...... But if that friend was Meghan.....??🤔... Now knowing what we know about her?... Like maybe. If you have been that hurt by someone who was a lifelong friend and that friend was Meghan? Idk. I mean thank God these friends did and we have the photo of them outside Buckingham palace to debunk her dumb story she never googled them. I mean look what she did to her father? Does that person deserve to be protected? And maybe she was trying to warn Harry. I mean look what she's done to his family?!! Don't we all wish they'd listened to these warnings from people who knew her?

I think Ninaki sold the album to prove the relationship so Meghan couldn’t down play the extent of that relationship, and Ninaki knew what she was talking about…she was right with her warning wasn’t she!

Just when I thought I had heard it all… in walks Ninaki. 31 years of friendship is a lifetime. In many ways, friendships are also a lot like marriages too. Well, I'm certainly appreciative that Ninaki saw the light early on and was even willing to come to Trevor's aid and support him in the wake of the rings incident… I also think with Meghan being who she was ultimately becoming… one had no other choice or alternative but to fight fire with fire as I think Ninaki knew instinctively seeing what had happened to Trevor no less that she would need to have irrefutable proof in the eyes of the public and the rest of the world that she had actually known Meghan. Because not everyone who had subsequently befriended Meghan could honestly say that they know her that well or for that long either-not even Harry!-so in this one instance I'm willing to give Ninaki the rare benefit of a doubt as I think it is essential that the public really comes to fully understand who Meghan was in the beginning versus what and who she has ultimately become today what with her near-catastrophic car chase through Manhattan no less.
Fascinating video - thank you! At the time, Ninaki Priddy did seem like a 'sell out' but in hindsight, given Markle's despicable behaviour, I don't feel Ninaki did anything wrong. She made money from her friendship with Meghan, but she also was absolutely correct in her assessment of Meghan. It's hard to summon up any sympathy for Meghan on any level however I respect Ninaki's courage in trying to set the record straight while the whole world gushed over Meghan. And none of the photos were of a 'compromising' nature - just a look back at their friendship.

Yeah I wouldn't call her a sellout either. Getting rid of the album was her final chapter on their friendship. Meghan was no longer the friend she knew and she was either throwing the album away, or just so happens she had an offer. And she never did give any more beyond that ONE revelation unlike the Markles and their never ending "final word" interviews that are really just a rehash of their old stories with new triggers. I get they are hurt and get the short end of the stick in terms of publicity. But maybe they should've taken the route of the Raglands. Or at least Ninaki. Last means last.

I agree she was trying to warn Harry. Maybe the press she spoke with told her by selling her albums she would be believed even more!! Let's face it Who really has had these kinds of experiences with the press to know what to do?? Hindsight is 20/20!! Meghan did treat her badly as she felt she was getting more famous. Isn't this when meghan would call her when she was back in LA. and if Ninaki was busy Meghan would lay a guilt trip on her about not having time to be her 'friend'.
After divorce couples do not cherish their wedding photos. Similarly this was not a cherished friendship anymore. So by all means sell it. Samantha wrote a book to profit, not really nasty one, but she too tried to warn the Harry and his family.
Throughout this whole Meghan tale, Priddy is the one person I always hurt the most for her. That was a deep down bosom buddy friendship. I'm certain Meghan never before or ever since had a person in her life she could trust like Priddy. Having a friend like that in my childhood, I completely felt her pain. I only wish she had held out longer with the pictures and gotten more money.
Maybe when Ninaki realized her friend was a cold hearted user she thought selling the pictures would give Meghan a taste of her own medicine. How does it feel to be regarded as nothing more than what I can gain from you? I just hope she and Trevor went out and had a lovely celebration with some of the money. 😊

MM was no friend anymore after all thode years. After Ninaki heard M telling how she didn't know the RF the photoalbum and her stories where free to sell.
I would sale the photo album if it would stop someone from taking down the Royal Family out of envy and cause havoc and unrest in the US.

I would sell the pictures. Nicki didn't owe Meghan anything - she was not a family member and the pictures were not compromising in any. way. 100,00 ($ or £) is a life changing sum of money. Good for Nikki. She came out on top Karma!
I would not betray a friend. But if they ghosted me or pissed me off, I would take the $$ at that point.

I don't have a problem with the sale of photos. Had they still been friends then it would have been a betrayal. The relationship was over, however, so why not? Besides, if I heard you correctly at about $150k?! That is YEARS of income for most of the world's population so, heck yah, sell 'em.
A newspaper always pays for stories and pictures. Meghan gets a lot of cash talking about her family. 100.000 pounds is nothing. Good she did. Meghan causes so much pain.
I am glad ninaki got some money back for all the years they financed her. My understanding is that her family kept , fed and included Meghan on their lives and family outings! Meghan is a user and it serves her friend well to get something out of a bad friendship.
The rings were sent back because he went to the Oscars without her.
I can't blame Ninaki to sell those photos, after she was "betrayed" by her once best friend. I also had such a girl friend who betrayed me after 28 years of friendship. I banned her out of my life. Photos? Straight to the trash bin.

I completely understand how you feel. The same thing happened to me. However, I haven't binned the photos. Just never look at them again, or think about that person again. She's now a complete stranger to me. Blocked her number, on socials etc. Out of sight, out of mind. But the hurt can never be forgotten

It reminds me of the quote, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” I’ve always thought it took courage for Ninaki to do what she did based on what she believed was right. If only more had the courage to come forward and speak. I know how scary it must be. I think she probably knew the pictures would lend her a measure of protection from statements designed to malign her own character and discredit her, and they weren’t in any way malicious or unkind, which I think is significant too. And the money was probably a very nice gesture for having the courage to do what few others have done, though I’m sure it was bittersweet.

I think friendship betrayal is the worst pain. It's happened to me a few times and the hurt really doesn't go away. Even more than romantic relationships bc you kinda know men can be jerks and relationships can end, but you don't expect a friendship to end or to be betrayed by them. You put your trust in them. And you think they'll be there to support you as you support them. It's really the worst pain. When my family even turned on me it was my friend who had my back. For them to turn is just the worst. And you are left feeling so unworthy or unlikeable, you doubt everything you do after and anyone you meet. How much you'll be open to the next person. How much you'll give.
Ninaki probably felt a sense of responsibility to set straight some of Meghan’s blatant lies and give some insights to her ugly side. Good on Ninaki
Good for Ninaki to sell the photos because she realized that there was no friendship ever, at least not from the sede of the stupid wife.
I'm not sure. I would hope that I would not want to sell the photos but when a friend has so betrayed you, I think you want to expel them from your life, and if you meant so little to them that they no longer confided in you only because they've become famous, then why not make a few bucks from the association. Why protect someone who's been so heinous to everyone, you included? I still respect Ninaki Priddi. And I think she did the right thing in exposing Meghan Markle. If everyone else had been honest then maybe her heinous behavior and rise would not have gone so far.
I think I remember Ninaki saying that whenever M went back to LA she would expect Ninaki to drop everything and go shopping or to other venues with M and would get a bit snarky when Ninaki refused. You don't treat friends like that, especially life-long friends. When Ninaki saw the way Trevor was treated I think that was probably the beginning of the end of their friendship. For that reason perhaps, Ninaki decided to purge her life of M and their memories. So I wouldn't criticise her for accepting payment for her photo albums, in a way it was a warning to the world about what kind of person M was/is.
Megain would have sold photos in a hot second...why shouldn't Ninaki do it.
I think the album belonged to Ninaki and was just as much about her life as MM. They were friends for 30 years and MM didn't even invite her to Royal Wedding. Proof that one should be generous on the way up! So it's the highest bidder from me!

Interesting that Ninaki refused to explain why Meghan went to live with her father. It shows to me that she generally has a decent character, because it isn't her place to discuss her former friends' parents. I think ultimately she was deeply hurt by Meghan and the photos in the album merely demonstrated that they had once had a very close relationship, it added credibility to her words.
Having a lifetime friend you learn and overlook their quirkiness, their anger and vulnerability. After thirty years to realize what they were, feeling duped and realizing they never really gave a crap about me? Yes, I would. Especially if you see her totally duping the world 🌎. They are prescious memories of childhood now incredibly tainted. I'd be like get them out of here. She made a little money, so what? Was she supposed to give them away? This is My story and I am sticking to it. Right on!

No doubt Meghan would have dumped her anyway. Meg has treated her friends horribly so why not at least get a few dollars for bad treatment. Especially if you are trying to show the world that she isn't who she claims to be. My opinion is that Soho House was the biggest factor in her changing. Thom Sr. said everything changed when she got with Soho House. Also there is a rumor that while Meg sent rings back to Trevor the actual divorce was never dealt with and finalized until just before the wedding to Harry. And that the Queen found out and was livid about it, considering they were already engaged.
I would sell the pictures and make a point of giving every dime to the animal shelter where Meghan adopted Bogart. AND I would publicly say why I was doing it.
I think Ninaki selling the photo album was a symbolic gesture. It was as if she was closing a chapter in her life, letting go of her connection to Meghan; possibly even cathartic. Just as Meghan had closed the door on their friendship.
I would never profit off pics of friends if I was on good terms with them without asking. . But if, like Markle, the friend turned into someone who was cruel, calculating and ruthless to people I cared about just because of some minor success - or any success for that matter - I would not feel bad about making some s money off the old snapshots. Because at that point the friend would not deserve loyalty since they already violated trust. Besides, there was nothing really negative about those pics. Moreover, Nicki’s family had been very generous to Meghan when she was a child, caring for her, taking her to Europe, etc. Nicki’s family provided a second family that had more stability than her own. Markle was probably not grateful for that, the same way she was never grateful for how Trevor and her father sacrificed so much to support her. Selling some innocent t snaps is nothing compared to the painful ruthless way Markle used and disposed of others. She does not own photos another person took of her, anyway. They were cute snapshots, not porn. There seems to be the misconception in the world that if you are in a photo you own the copyright. You only own the copyright if you took the photo with your own camera.

Not something I would do, however, the photo album represented 30 years of memories which Ninaki evidently cherished more so than Meghan. People have different ways of handling their pain and I do sympathise with her.

It is so sad that the friendship was lost. My best friend and I have been close since we were babies (64 years ago) even though I married and moved to California. We wrote each other regularly and then as time changed we called each other regularly with a few visits home to Australia for me. Last week my best friend’s older sister called me to let me know that that my friend had passed away. I am devastated by her loss. She was always there. Friendship should be valued so much.

Tiara Gate? Is this possible? Queen has 4 granddaughters and around 50 tiaras. I bet the Emerald Tiara was long ago chosen for her green eyed grandaughter Eugenie. That is why it was impossible. Eugenie's Wedding was postponed by Meghans, do you think she tried to take her tiara too? After all Meghan announced her pregnancy at Eugnie's wedding. Sorry Off Topic

I have long felt Markle strong-armed Henry into the marriage by claiming to be pregnant, hence the invite to Christmas at Sandringham and moving Eugenie's wedding day back. After making those concession I'm guessing Markle thought the Queen a bit of a walk-over and decided that she was going to wear the Emerald Tiara only to have the Queen turn her down flat. During Tiaragate - as it was called in the UK, a courtier let it be known that when the Queen put her foot she said, "She will have whatever Tiara I choose to give her" (or words to that effect). That's when I knew Markle was irredeemably dense, believing as apparently did that the late Queen Elizabeth was 'weak'.
There were two stories circulating at the time, that was one of them. The other was that, because the tiara was thought to be of russian provenance, it wouldn't have been politically expedient for an American to wear it. We'll never know I suppose, but the Eugenie situation sounds more likely to me!
@@OdeInWessexI've always thought that the queen, being a canny woman, already had her measure and was doing everything to try and avoid the very accusations that were eventually made anyway. But your take definitely fits. Especially as everything went south after the tiara affair.!
@hilary not just the tiaragate, there was a rumour that Beatrice had been given permission to call her 1st born daughter Lillibet... & we all know what happened there, could it possibly be that Eugenie let that nugget slip to the Harkles added to the fact they stole Prince George 'security name' .... Archie. The late Queen & Beatrice were Very close, she wore one of her dresses for her wedding & also wore the Queens wedding Tiara! Someone somewhere needs to stop MM it's beyond out of hand now..
Thomas Markle Jr wrote a letter to Harry trying to warn him about her before the wedding. I don't think he got enough credit for that.
I'm team Ninake. She and her family gave a lot of love to a woman who blatantly showed no appreciation. As a long time childhood friend she was used then discarded when no longer any value. That must have been so hurtful.
Yeah I would, if my friend was lying about her background, and lying about who she is, and if I knew the truth, I would show people the truth, cause THAT is what is important.

About the female harkle, why is there no mention of her mother's side of the family? Is she and/or Doris embarrassed by them??
I think the selling of the photos shows the depth of Ninaki’s pain and hurt. That album must have been a treasured possession, but it shows how disgusted she felt at the rings in the post incident together with poor old Bogart, that she wanted to show Meghan what she really thought of her. What really surprises me is that M sustained a friendship for so long, must have been worth her while.

I think Ninaki had a very good measure of Markle’s character. Hearing Markle lie must have been something. Glad she sold the photos. After all they weren’t friends anymore.
The perception that Markle could never leave her first husband--trever trev trev...whatever--is interesting. So then that behavior is within reach for Harry. I believe that Meghan has already subconsciously decided--based on Harry's failed book tour--that he is dispensable. I believe she's on a multi-year plan to set herself on an independent path. Of course, meeting another useful man would expedite the plan, in my opinion. Harry needs a dark horse lover.

Mee-gain will wait until Harry gets his inheritance/trust (the one Princess Anne is executive of) and then she will get rid of him. Of course this is after she gets her share. Mee-gain will wait until she can get the maximum amount before she calls it quits. Harry had better get out of California asap. (but then he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed)

@@thevintageread I mean I am not a clucky person, the only babies I've held were my nephew and niece on the days they were born, and even *I* would have looked like an expert in comparison.
I came to the conclusion that she didn't want any baby's head to obscure her face so she always held Archie lower than how people naturally carry their babies. Carrying them lower requires more strength because the weight is on your forearms rather than biceps. She also tried to carry Archie lower in their South Africa pics but not as low as when he was a newborn. He's heavier by then.
So wonderfully detailed as always. I did not know that Ninaki sold the photos for money! Wow! She was still mad after all of those years. I am glad that she came forward to tell firsthand accounts of what that woman is like. Hmmm, would I sell my friends out….my friends, no however, none of my friends are nasty as that woman has become. Ninaki was seeking payback for all of those years I suppose.
I’m not certain Nikki sold the album for revenge as much as providing credibility to her story, just a thought. The picture of Megan outside of Buckingham palace was pretty damning, you think?

You are so right about MM becoming Rachel Zane. Such a narc trait. This one did it in spades.
I don't think it undermines Priddy's story - she could have had held out and made more money if it was just about that. I think she was brave to call Meghan's embellishing of events out, considering the power the RF’s platform had given her.
I would never sell a photo album about a friend. But I don't have friends like M.

@TheVintageReadShow - Yes perhaps a warning. And a means to protect the RF and backup the M family. Rather than speak out and gain an even more sizeable fortune, she let the pictures speak the truth. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you for your insight and great content.

Ninaki did not sell out her friendship with Meghan. Meghan had disposed of her and Trevor. In fact, Meghan was not the same person by this time. She was, in effect, Rachel Zane - someone who had no emotional tether to Ninaki. Meghan had demonstrated the rules for former relationships when she cut off Trevor. Ninaki would never have sold out Meghan, but she had no reason to care for Rachel Zane. Meghan chose the pattern going forward. In the end, Meghan will be treated as she has treated others. Her choice.
