Lots of questions and comments about the Eufy X10 Pro OMNI. It was supposed to be included in this video but unfortunately didn't arrive on time. I've run it through the vacuuming tests with the following results: • Carpet Pickup: 19g of 40g (47.5% pickup) • Hard Floor Pickup: 37g of 40g (92.5% pickup) • Auto Empty: 2g left in bin. This would have put the X10 Pro OMNI in 5th Place for carpet pickup and tied for 5th for hard floor pickup. I won't be repeating the mopping tests because all of the mud solution needs to come from the same batch to make it a fair comparison, but it appears that in the $699 price category the L10S is still the right pick.
Thanks! What is your overall experience with the x10 pro omni? Do you think the mopping is comparable to the other spinning mop models? Is the navigation and obstacle avoidance comparable to the s1 pro? I just ordered the x10 omni pro today for 600 (l10s ultra is 700). Do you think it is a good product for that price?
It's comparable to the other spinning mops, not better than the roller mop though.
@@TheHookUpwhat about the dreame l20 ultra? 👀
Finally someone who compares and tests the performance of the robots instead of just a sponsord video of the list of features. Considering that most of the robots on the list are either brand new or not yet available in my country.
Vacuum Wars is also good for this
@@chrisogrady28 I know but his reviews come months after the sales start of the robots
This! A proper comparison of new robo vacs and not just the usual paid sponsored videos. Thank you!
Rgay said the eufy S1 does seem like the best option 😕
Thank you for your feedback!❤ We strive to provide valuable and informative content to our viewers. If you have any questions about the performance or features of our product, feel free to reach out. 😘
Man, if there was a video that could convince anyone that you aren’t pushing the latest hype, this would be it… Thanks for doing all this work for us! I’ll be sticking with my L10S Ultra as well.
Would you even recommend acquiring the L10S as a first vacuum and mop robot, instead of going for any of the other robots?
Results show s1 pro is better ..
I can not believe that some companies will charge you almost $2.000 for something that hardly does what it is supposed to do. What a waste of money. I was ready to go after the X30 Ultra, but now I'll go for the Dreame L10s Ultra, as you suggested. Thanks for your dedication and time to making this video. Saved me some $$.
…exactly my thoughts after watching this great comparison video!
Thank you for taking the time to review our product! We appreciate your thorough assessment and valuable insights. 🤩🤩
Keep up the good work. This is one of the only trust worthy smarthome/tech channels left. Almost all other are just doing tedious sponsored infomercials now, spouting crap like “this changes everything” and “game changing” which just make me a little bit queasy.
Sir, I appreciate the effort you put into this video. Drying Florida mud with a hair dryer for every single test? You're the man!
Being a backer on the Eufy campaign this is a very helpful and highly appreciated comparison/review. Thank you for that.
I bought an L10 last year per your recommendation & have been very pleased. Glad to see it's still holding strong in 2024.
WOW. Insanely detailed comparison! Thank you! Although now I seem more confused on what to get! Decisions.. decisions.. decisions..
Thank you. You are simply the best at doing in-depth reviews of these products.
I got the notification that you posted this and had to stop everything and watch! Great job as always, I love the scientific approach and NO SPONSORED REVIEWS!
Bro, I never saw someone do a comparison like this, amazing. Thank you.
Holy shhhh man you are entering Project Farm Level Testing!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏 Amazing level of attention to detail! im glad you are doing the most, that way we have an independent view from Vacuum Wars (no shade)
Congrats, best comparison video I have ever seen! How I wish the Dreame X40 (with swing-out and lift corner cleaning side brush) was a part of it but it just came out a week ago in Germany.
Thank you for validating my month old L10s Ultra purchase. Great content as always.
Same, got mine over Black Friday for 550. Been really good
OMG! This review is so incredible. Thank you for putting so much effort into making this video.
Great video, a wonderful comparison! I took my chances on the Eufy S1 before videos like this were out and got on their kickstarted campaign. I am happy with what I see with it. I am not to worried about carpet vacuuming seeing as my house is mainly vinyl flooring.
The dedication you have and depth you go to on these videos is always astonishing. I can't imagine how much effort (and money!) goes in to each video and I can't thank you enough for it!
Thanks for that SENSATIONAL test!
Amazing study, so thoroughly made and detailed results! Thanks a lot for this!
Good tests. You're one of the only reviewers who noted the Ecovacs X navigation issues. I had 2 and they were both terrible at navigation and needed constant baby sitting.
This is an amazing test indeed! Thanks for your time and effort!
Thanks for the honest review. It greatly appreciated! I’m still leaning towards the tested Roborock or Dreametech L20.
Great Video! I appreciate the attention to detail. This should be on everyone’s watch list!
I just bought a new L10s based on your recommendation as a gift and worried this video would make me regret that. I'm definitely not regretting it now. Thanks.
Still a great choice.
@@TheHookUp Please help! Unfortunately, I did not observe any examination of other Dreame models. What will be your ultimate choice? Dreame (X40 Ultra, X20 Ultra, X30, X10s, L10s Pro Ultra Heat, or Roborock S8 MaxV?). If I narrow it down to two, I'm thinking of the Roborock S8 MaxV and the Dreame X20 Ultra. According to your study, X40 and S8 MaxV roborock are not excellent. Or?? So, which out of two Dreame x20 or dreame x40 ?? Carpets, hair, and all-around cleaning functions are crucial in my opinion. Thank you for such an excellent video. This final piece of input will be quite helpful. Thank you!
@@HimanshuJoshi2015 i would stick to his recommendation L10 but get the best of L10 which is the L10s Pro Ultra Heat. but it does add a 300usd additional cost to it. the L20 x30 x40 have smaller filters, which prevent suction according to the review
You doing a great job. It is levels above other reviewers. Thank you
I still can't believe how you manage to get into so much detail. Crazy. Great work Rob.
Now THIS was the video I was exactly looking for! Unbiased and very real world. Thanks! After researching all month this video in particular helped narrow down my final choice in a robot vac/mop for my parent’s home, which mostly consists of hard floors and no carpets. I’m definitely going for the L10S Ultra. I do love the self cleaning mop on the Eufy S1, but you can set the L10S to frequently clean pads in the app. Not to mention hand/machine wash the pads when needed and easier to replace when they wear out compared to a full sized mop roller. Filter has a large surface area so a little more resistant to clogging up with all the desert sand they get in. Being able to drive it around in the app to check on the pets and house is a big plus. Parts look readily available too!
Love the videos and how in depth you go. Would appreciate any insight you have on the Roborock Q Revo - it’s the highest rated out of robot vacuums carried at Costco. Always looking forward to your content
Your reviews are really great! Thank you
FANTASTIC review, as usual.
Great video! Luv the detail thank you
This was fantastic thanks so much. Hope you plan on testing out the Samsung Bespoke JetBot when it comes out. Thanks again for a great review.
Thanks for making a fair comparison instead of most KZheadrs that just became a big infomercial as they are sell outs.
Amazing review! Thank you.
Super thorough review, nice! Got the S1 pro on kickstarter.
I pledged for the s1 pro but debating on pulling my pledge and getting the L10 not sure what I want L10 is better at vacuuming carpet but the s1 will avoid dog poop better and thats a big deal to me because I wouldn’t want it dragged through my house if my dog has an accident.
Mostly interested in the s1 mopping feature
Insanely thorough analysis. Subscribing
gosh this is the most comprehensive test I have seen on youtube. Thank you.
This was very useful. I have a large PVC floor without any carpets, so it needs quite a bit of mopping. Eufy Pro seems to have been a good backing at Kickstarter :) Thanks for the extensive review!!
Thank u very much for this incredible review
Amazing review, already looking forward to the 2025 one!
Just got an L10s Ultra and I'm glad that it's seems a good choice. Waiting for it to arrive but hopefully it seems that I won't be disappointed
This work is just pure gold!!))
Great video, thanks you for your comparision
Wow this review is incredibly thorough 😮
Amazing review! 🎉
Awesome job bro!
Your the best smart home reviewer, hands down, Good job.
Love how in-depth you reviewed these and in such a better way than any kind of lab testing too. Real case scenarios is the best. Any reason why you didn't include the Roomba Combo j9+ which does vacuuming and mopping with auto empty?
In my opinion Roomba is not relevant in 2024. They haven’t innovated or improved in the last 4 years and have fallen completely behind.
Thank you so much for your video! So indepth, organised and easy to digest. I'm from Australia and can't see an Amazon link that's AUS? I'd definitely support you if it was available!
Fantastic, highly detailed video. Thanks very much for this 👍🏻
Great vid and not sponsored. #Salute
Thanks for this! I just returned the Narwhal, it was a nightmare and honestly even heart breaking experience 😅 I wish I found your video first!
What specific issues did you have? I'm really confused by what happened with the FreoX Ultra because my Narwal Freo has been pretty flawless.
The test after wiping with the white cloth is great. You can see how much residue there is. top 👍🏻 It would be great if the wiping roller in the station could be cleaned with hot water
Great review 👍🏾
backed the eufy s1 pro thanks to your review. hope it doesnt disappoint!
A very thorough assessment.. very good
Hello, long time follower, Thank you so much for your effort in reviewing these vacuums. I can only imagine the stress and time it takes. Please do you mind releasing your spreadsheet, or at least have it up on your website. Thank you.
I can probably make that happen. The overview at the end with the grades has all the info for now.
@@TheHookUpThank you 😁
Thanks for an extremely good test comparision. Next video you could talk slightly slower with some pauses between the sentences and sections, that would make the long video less exhausting to follow, and you would have an even longer video with more payback on. Don't worry, people will watch to the end anyway since the content is so well done. Actually I had to mute the sound at some parts since the amount of information read up become to much. Thanks for a great job, one of the most valid test and comparision I ever seen on KZhead.
Excellent video!
You did a great job and review…. This is way more professional than the professional
Great video and appreciate the real world tests. For the Voice Assistant capabilities, can any of these robots follow a command to "vacuum" only or "mop" only specific rooms? My S7 MaxV only allows to "vacuum and mop" a room. Sometimes i only want to vacuum or only want to mop. Thanks in advance.
Sir, we have to salute you commitement and hardwork again on this one.
I got the x10 pro omni for $599 with coupon at rollout. I love it and find it hard to believe these flagship robots are 2-3x better. I hope we continue to see more mid-level offerings as these flagship prices are way out of reach of most consumers budget.
Excellent review. How do these units compare on uneven floors such as slate?
Using L10s for last few months now (6+) and don't regret it. One thing that I surprised me is how much maintenance it actually requires. I'm vacuuming and mopping almost every day, we own a dog as well. This means that every week I need to: - clean the dock base with handheld vacuum and wet cloth - wash the mop pads in the washing machine (I have spare ones) - untangle hair and remove dirt residue from the brush and other elements underneath the robot When it comes to clean and dirty water I need to replace it usually every 2-3 days. Leaving it for longer leads to unpleasant smell. The dirty water tank needs to be washed with detergent at least every 2 weeks as well. Moreover, the original accessories are quite expensive. The detergent is prohibitively costly compared to generic vacuum robot cleaning solutions. It's worth to have several mop pads and replace them regularly. Washing in high temperature should be enough to get rid of the smell.
Great video!! Thank you very much! What about L10s Ultra vs L20 Ultra? Any recommendations?
Bravo just bravo!! Amazing video!! You are really good! 👍👍👍👍👍
All i have to say is that this video is amazing. Thank you for your test and time investment. Such a good review. Like I asked last time if possible will be really cool if you could take a look at the cloud replacement open source project.
L10s supports valetudo now, but requires a special PCB to do the flashing, so I think that is a significant barrier for entry to most people.
This review was so helpful as I look at upgrading from my Roomba i8+. I was originally looking at the new Roborock S8 Max Ulta - the non-V version as I don't think the extra bells and whistles are worth it by adding the V on it (You can get the non-v version for $1399 if you buy direct from Roborock from 4/22 - 4/28) but this review may have sold me on the Dreamtech L10. Although, I don't NEED a new vacuum right now so perhaps 2025 may be a better time to look. Make a Dreamtech with the mopping capabilities of the Roborock (Edge mopping/Lifting) and Eufy.
Yes, I'm waiting until all the big manufacturers offer similar mop technology like the Eufy S1 Pro, maybe already at the end of the year, certainly next year.
Backed the Eufy S1 Pro on Kickstarter, so this video was a great comparison. There has been a lot of comments on KS about the Eufy S1 Pro vacuuming levels, with Eufy themselves stating that they have changed some things, including the brush roller, and distance to floor etc. to improve it's cleaning. They even sited this channel and this review as part of the reason for the changes. Time will tell if these changes make any difference, I hope you do anything review of the Eufy S1 Pro after it's official release. Good work. Keep up this class comparison videos.
I don’t know why eufy is not testing himself such things.
I think the main issue in Eufy S1 Pro is that the main brush doesn't hide/rise in the mopping mode. When something is spilled on the floor, it can get into the main brush. Also the side brushes are always on when mopping, so they are smearing the liquid.
@@manaenbk Eufy S1 Pro cleans the mop on the fly, didn't you see the soy sauce test and the white a4 sheet?
@@dejedejssonI wasn't saying about the mopping system but about the main brush and side brushes. When robot is cleaning some liquid, for the first the side brushes run over it, then the main brush and finally the mopping system. This means that the side and main brushes get dirty because of this liquid, because they cannot turn off or move up.
@@manaenbk yes, exactly! You are paying attention. I hope this company is taking notes as if they are hungry for insights, the info is here and they could rise above in 2025 with some minor improvements. Listen to the people, and they will buy your automated vacuums! I was an early adopter of the Roomba (first gen) for my clean freak/always in pragmatic motion mother. I had hoped she'd take some time for herself while the vac was working away. Skip town, a trip to Aruba while her house cleaned itself. A Nancy Drew novel like she used to in her early years or her adult version of that. Something fun other than everything necessary. But alas. NOPE. She was not a fan. It was new technology and awkward like any fledging newborn taking its first steps. It had not integrated defaulted wall encounters yet. It zoomed around and hit all the incidental spots like a bumper car ramming into its neighbor. Except the sport was designed to avoid its neighbors so fun wasn't built into this design. Still, it was the first of its kind so it earned its way into the National Museum of History, but my mom's heart is not as easy of a sell. I think she sold hers in a Tag Sale.😂 In any case, I still believe, and want to own something I can take home to my home, my mom. Rooting for you Eufy, but auto vacs in general I implore you: competition is the capitalist necessity of innovation: so f'ing delight us! Here is some free UX advice: no mud, no dirt, no tangled long hair, no brush rollers so we can vac our pet-friendly rugs with glee, and for gosh darn sakes, raise your rollers so they don't inhibit the mixed use application of hybrid flooring households (carpet/rug/hard wood or similar/tile/etc) and do better on your hard floors! You could win retired hearts, even my mom's.
Congratulations on yet another fantastic comparison video. I truly appreciate your dedication and hard work. I remember watching your comparison video from last year, but I can't recall if the Dreame L20 was included. We initially decided on the Dreame L10 based on your video, but then Dreame released the L20, which ended up winning most comparisons by the end of 2023. I was disappointed not to see the L20 in your 2024 video, as, in my opinion and based on personal experience, it was the champion of 2023. Additionally, for future comparison videos, it would be beneficial to include the unique mop detach function from the L20/X30 when discussing mop lifting. This feature effectively addresses the debate on how the mop can be lifted and completely eliminates the possibility of getting the carpet wet at all. Best wishes from Australia 🎉
Mop drop was mentioned a few times, I think it’s a great feature.
for the mop drop the mopping has to finish first and then go out again for vacuum, then it's pointless to just do mopping first. If you vacuum first then you dont need this useless feature
Appreciate this video! - No sponsored video
20:16 just an FYI, but Roborock app also has per room customizable settings and a custom sequence. Sequence: Home page map edit symbol (top right above the map) or Settings > Manage Maps > Edit and then Sequence. Per room custom settings: Home page > bottom right ∞ symbol > customize (I don't understand why it's not in map management, same as sequence settings).
your reviews are so thorough and complete - thank you for making these!
This is the best robot vac mop review vid I’ve seen. Would love to see a comparison between the s1 pro and the new x40! Wondering if the improved the carpet vacing in the x40. But it seems like if like me you have 90% hard floors and are not too worried about edge cleaning, the s1 is the one. Thank you
Thanks for this great review! Really great detail and quality!! Keep it up ❤. Eufy S1 Pro mopping looks great! I would love to see a test to the migo ascender, which can climb stairs. I am afraid it is maybe a scam, so a test would be the best! 😊
The Ascender looks great. I've already reached out to them, but they have said they are not providing any advanced units until after the Kickstarter campaign has ended. It's a strange decision, but from what I can tell it's because the software needs a lot more improvement before they ship a product that is fully functional and don't want to give people a bad first impression of it.
Thanks Rob for the detailed and objective comparison! Some of these vacuums are amazing and have lots of great features. But unfortunately the mandatory cloud connection is a deal breaker for me. I really don’t see any need for a vacuum to connect to the internet. The privacy and security implications can be devastating.
For those who prefer manual vacuums, my Rainbow has been great. I live in a small space without a lot of stuff, which can be vacuumed top to bottom in less than half an hour. A little on the pricey side, but you can get them refurbished for a little less, and they can last a long time if properly cared for.
Great job
crazy impressive testing!🤯 I hope to be this good and hardworking if ever I become a content creator near future. Watching this video I realized that mopping could actually be the best feature on a robot vac. thing is, you still need a powerful vacuum over carpet where ideally should be done at least a week. on hard floors, a weak vacuum and weak mop is all you need for daily floor maintenance(hardly visible dirt debris) which robot vacuums do well already. The eufy is taking it on another level which uses a design similar to wet vacuum mops unlike the cringey implementation of spinning rugs.
The Eufy mop is great. Switchbot S10 and Eureka J20 are also similar designs coming out this year, hopefully they will also be great.
@@TheHookUp Great! I knew the Eufy is on early adopter phase with its $1.7k price
Love your videos, so helpful! I read 100s of customer reviews on Amazon, Reddit, and seller sites and they were so conflicting. Consumer digest magazines are worthless (somebody rated Bissell and Braava Jet as top moppers, how unserious). After watching your videos, I went with L10s Ultra as the best match for my needs (no carpets, no messes), which cost less than $600 with promos, and I've been so pleased and impressed with it. I'm going to keep watching! Very interested to see successors for Eufy S1 since I have a feeling that the first version is going to have too many bugs. I might still stick with spinning pads, though, because they buff old scratched-up wood floors into mirror-like shine like they were just refinished.
Glad it was helpful, and glad the L10S is working well for you!
Great video, brilliant testing as always. I wonder how the switchbot s10 will stack up against these results.
I've got one on the way. Eureka also has a similar style mop on their new J20 but they are only doing sponsored videos, so I probably will not be able to get one until they are available to the public.
@@TheHookUp these are the 3 I can hardly wait to see your review. The Eufy, Switcbot, and Eureka... mainly Eufy vs Switchbot. Thank you again for all your GREAT reviews.
This is an exceptional analysis. It will be very interesting to see how the Migo Ascender rates in your evaluation when it is released. Thanks for such great work.
I'm also excited to see how the Ascender performs!
Thanks!
I have the LS10 ultra and really like it. It replaced my old roomba i7 and it was night and day. Only thing I wish it had was a dust bin sensor so it knew when it was full and would go back to empty it. I do work around this by having it go back after every task which I made each room a separate task
Yep, that’s a great work around. The dust bin sensor is still patented by Roomba, so it will still be a couple years before it shows up on other robovacs.
@@TheHookUp Oh good to know. For some reason I thought the 20 and 30 ultras had them.
Got the s1 pro with super early bird at 899... with all wood floors, hoping it serves me well!
20:32 The 30 Ultra vacuum leaving behind its mopping pads for a vacuum only run is honestly a feature I would love.
That feature was released on the L20, and I agree it’s a great one.
or you know.... vacuum before mop? most stupidly hyped feature
One of the best reviews I’ve ever seen! Great work! Do you personally have any privacy concerns with l10s ultra?
I don't, but I have my L10S on the first floor with no bedrooms/private spaces. If I was storing the dock in a bedroom or bathroom it would be a bigger concern for me.
@@TheHookUp that’s what I’m concerned about…I live in a small apartment and my idea is to put the L10S ultra in the living room so…I don’t know…for that reason I’m thinking about returning the L10S and get the roborock Q REVO…not sure
Great video. Maybe also interesting: The L10S Ultra is the only vaccuum from this video that is supported by valetudo. Valetudo is a very DIY cloud-replacement for some robot vacuums.
Yep, I'm guessing the S8 MaxV Ultra will also be supported once it is widely released, but for now the L10S is the only one. I'll be doing a Valetudo video in June.
Sucha a informative review! Thanks. But there is new player L20 Ultra! it would be great to add this one to see if there changes are on +
I believe X30 Ultra is basically the upgrade to the L20 Ultra, almost all the features are the same and the form factor of the base is also the same.
Thanks for the nice review. You didn't mention about the built-in Eco-clean oxidation from Eufy.
Yeah, it's a pretty strange feature and I'm not sure it actually does anything useful.
Can you please tell me what's the best and cheapest projector screen i can buy for Nexigo Pj40 Gen 2 and Nebula Mars 3??
How do you rate the Q Revo MaxV? Will that review be coming soon?
When you test robots, also test their ability to cross thresholds and find out what their maximum height is. Does the software support setting thresholds and what happens if it cannot be set in the program. In the Nordic countries we have a lot of thresholds, at least here in Finland because it is part of the building regulations. Roborock seems to be the only company that allows thresholds to be defined in its software, and because of this, it is currently almost the only one that survives them with honor. When you test the Eufy S1 Pro, test how it copes with thresholds. Eufy said that it should survive exceeding 20mm thresholds, but I don't think that feature can be found in the app yet.
Regarding maintenance it would be interesting to know whether other robots have a similar tendency as my Roborock S7 maxV to collect dust on their charging contacts and then refuse charging.
As always 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 When send us your link, ads please amazon spain. Because i would happily buy from you but cant use that amazon stores because of import fees to EU
great video...wow! That was alot of info lol
Thank you for doing this video! It was super helpful. Saw your video yesterday - I have two ecovacs T20 and I am facing the problem you showed so am planning to return them and looking for 2 new ones. I see you have not said anything about the Dyson and the Samsung. Do you have any insight on those two? Thank you
The Samsung will probably follow in the footsteps of their previous vacuums, in that they are mid-level performers with highest tier pricing. The new Dyson has some very interesting innovations, but no all-in-one base for a flagship in 2024 is crazy.
@@TheHookUp so it seems the Dreamtech's L10s Ultra is the right choice or the second option is Roborock S8 Max Ultra
