We invited relationship expert onto the show and it couldn't have come at a better time... straight off the back of a massive argument, we thankfully had Paul Brunson as our guest this week for some COUPLE'S THERAPY 😱
Are Sophie and Jamie narcissists? And who really starts all the arguments?? Paul's here to sort us out…
Oh and Sophie's been smearing salmon sperm on her face... Why?? Good question…

  • Wow..What a special episode. Please bring Paul back. Also on another note the way Sophie asks the question about the first person to try Salmon sperm was spot on the way comics write jokes in comedy. Her delivery and material made it sooo funny. Love y'all. See you in April.

  • “Or something else…” 9:22 Perhaps that the therapy may have helped Jamie work through whatever it is that was causing him to use sex as a coping mechanism…🧐🤷🏼‍♀️

  • I think the first part of this podcast is worrying EMDR therapy has no NICE guidelines and is clearly being sold to a man who really doesn’t need it. This whole mental health narrative is out of control….’enjoying therapy’ you are missing the point.

    • The whole point of therapy is to help someone cope with various things and to improve someone’s well being, that can be an enjoyable thing, no? Being able to talk and process your feelings to a professional who can normalise and put your thoughts into context can be very comforting and helpful for so many people. Why can’t someone enjoy that feeling of relief and comfort after potentially struggling with something for several years? You are also dismissing EMDR, as if it is not a well established form of therapy that has helped so many and is being used in various reliable health care settings. It used frequently in the NHS in circumstances of trauma etc, how do you know that this isn’t something that has helped Jamie a lot, and this is therefore is a reason why he enjoys it?

    • Haters going to hate. He doesn't have to disclose the exact reason why he's doing therapy to the entire world, it's none of your business to judge.

  • 1) Sophie is in her 20's and says... "Sex once a week is more than enough for me" ... Still in the first c. 3-4 years total of their relationship (supposed to be Honeymoon stage)..... hormonally it's healthy to have a stronger sex drive than that in your 20's before children are even around, or deeper stress/responsibilities, or tiring physical work etc. 2) When Sophie says "Oh, I sound so spoilt" when talking about their house - yes, she does...and demanding & expectant... 3) Sophie genuinely undermines, emasculates & disrespects Jamie A LOT - consistently. Jamie is right - Sophie judges him on the headline outcome, rather than the total effort that he puts into things. Also exacerbated as worse, and Sophie aggrevates & demeans him when the perfect headline result (the perfect house & price) isn't achieved yet - as Sophie is demanding, expectant & has NO reasonable patience & understanding. 4) Jamie is constantly trying to please and often with grand gestures to gain the affection and love of Sophie (who is supposed to be his loving wife, still in the honeymoon stage?)....while Sophie constantly downplays his eager love & clingy affection shown (and even sexual advances)...and worse, often demeans or emasculates Jamie...as if it's a chasing game to keep Jamie...withhold love & Jamie adores her cling-ily & round & round it goes... Anyone can say the above is trolling - but dig your analysis deeper and pay attention and you will see examples of all of the above yourselves.

    • P.s. - Sophie had prior deep 'ick' off-putting feelings & plummet in attraction to Sam Thompson when he was adoring her, often cling-ily ... Tell me Jamie doesn't do a very similar thing with Sophie? ...has Sophie suddenly changed to like clingy adoration & grand gestures - ála Sam Thompson style (right before Sophie dumped Sam for exactly that), from Jamie

    • I think JAMIE has ADHD he is overly excited and does a lot of everything very hyperactive and Sophie is a lot calmer and more mature however when they do have kids I think that will have a big impact on them only because that’s when JAMIE has to be serious and play the role model of a father and perhaps later on become a disciplinarian. Sophie disrespect will eat Jamie up because Jamie will always have ADHD. He might later look for ADHD LADY 😂

    • Intimacy once a week is also very normal and healthy. You're seeing this as a stereotypical man.
