You listed 9 players. 5 of them were drafted in the 4th round or later. 5 of them never made a probowl in their entire collective careers. 4 of them played with Brady 3 years or fewer. And 2 of them, 2 of the 4 that actually made the probowl in their careers, played with Brady only a couple of years away from their retirement (Bennet and Dillon). Hernandez, Edleman, Amendola and Branch never made 1 probowl in their entire collective careers. Welker's undrafted and owes his career to QB GOATs Brady and Peyton Manning. Corey Dillon and Martellus Bennet were on the verge of retirement post-age 30 when they played with Brady for only a couple of years each. Cooks was a 1-year rental who got injured on his first play virtually missing the entire Superbowl the 1-year he played with Brady.

Tom did manage the game earlier in his career. But even as a game manager he didn't make mistakes like turning the ball over. Sometimes people get too caught up in stats and don't realize that ball control can win games. Clock management keeps the ball away from the other team. The Patriots didn't want to go into a shootout with the Rams at that time. Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, with Kurt Warner at QB was something serious. I could only imagine if they were in today's league. Parts of what Rob is saying is true but without Brady the dynasty doesn't happen.

The one caller about the AFC East being the weakest division is an idiot. The AFC teams has won more games against NFC teams since 2000 I believe. More SB are won by AFC teams as well since 2000. If you take out the games The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins play against the Patriots, they are practically are .500 teams....which is better than the record for the NFC East or Packers’s division.

When Broussard talks about the improvement the 2001 Pats made over the year before, he is not giving you the whole picture. In 2001, they added several key contributors (Seymour, Matt Light, Vrabel, Antowain Smith, David Patten, Bryan Cox, etc...). Also, the Pats played a weaker schedule in 2001. In 2000, they played 10 games against teams that would go on to finish above .500. In 2001, they only played six. Brady was feasting on a lot of cupcakes (Saints, Falcons, Bills, etc...). Broussard is a fan boy who probably doesn't watch the Pats. I have probably watched more Belichick-Brady Pats football than these Brady worshippers who have no facts.
