Monty is really a good boy and totally trusts his dad .... especially after the rapids filled the boat with water and he just stayed calm and waited on his human to take care of him. Thanks for sharing the mishap as it proves it can happen to anyone

It has to be sooo annoying to take those shots were you walk past the camera. First you have to set the camera up, then you have to go back and walk past it. Then you have to walk back to get it again. You sir are a true content creator.

F I totally agree. The time it takes for him to set up his camera, go pick his canoe up and if Funk is with him, I’m sure he carries hers too!!! Then he has to put them down, and go back to retrieve his camera. The man is amazing in my eyes. Monte is so cute and I love how Matt bundles him up at night. But I hate it when Matthew scares Monte by hitting his tarps during the night. So mean!! 😡

@@deathdragon745...He has to get the stuff off the tarp or it will collapse... I suppose he could wake him up first , but if you were in a tent you'd know that the gesture comes as needed and you just reach out and do it... Asking if he wants a treat or the dog park has got to be confusing to him though. That's why Monty doesn't always bother listening to him
I've thought this same thought for every video I've watched of his
Watching the boat turn and take in so much water, making you and monty wet and washing away the map made my heart hurt so much. But you stayed positive through the whole thing and even laughed about chasing the map down and getting back on your merry way. I smiled so big my cheeks hurt, you are a blessing. Never change.

I use to love camping and would love to try starting a 🔥 like Matt does and a lot of other stuff but I too have a disability and there is no way I could do everything Matthew does. 25:35 😂 Monty's face, love him. He reminds me very much of my families old dog we had, Buddy, he lived to the old age of 18. But he had exactly the same temperament, somewhat submissive/calm, and smart.

For my 6 month hike on tbe Appalachian Trail, I carried a Coleman Peak 1 Apex 2 gasoline camp stove. It was absolutely the best camp stove I ever owned. 23 years after I bought it, I still have it and still use it. It's so funny, that for under a dollar I fill two tanks. And they last me for two weeks of two to three trouble free meals per day. Time for me to look and see what's out there now. If Coleman has an upgraded version, I'd definitely buy it! I'm being told by many, that I need to go back to my survivalist / hiking / camping / fishing / archery and gun hunting roots, and videotape it for YubTub. Thumbs up if you think I ought to.
I love my trangia 28 mini! I think the only upgrade I will ever try is a wig stove. I say go for it! If you love it and have a desire to, go for gold!

Ive had those lucky moments. I once completed a bushwack without bringing my paddle. By the grace of a higher power I backtracked over a mile right back to where I started and tripped over it.

30 vol hydrogen peroxide Matt spray it on your bags and wash thrm. The peroxide kills mold. That is what I did before I retired is mold remediation.make sure to use the liquid not the gel. You get it at a beauty supply house. Open the bags up and spray them down. Hope that helps.
Don't spray that on any silk.it will catch it on fire.
