I do agree the deep dark feels lacking, but i wish some of the features in this mod were more... idk... made more sense? Why is sculk shears a thing?

A lot of features in this mod just leave me questioning "Okay, but why though?" Like, Pulsing Sculk. Okay, cool - but why? It's just a redstone block, basically. Or the Soul Well - why is it used for bookshelves? What's the point of it besides making shriekers (which can already be made occasionally by simply killing mobs near Sculk Catalysts) And the Sculk Shaker - it makes particles? Okay, cool - why, though? Some of these other features also make no sense - why an upgrade to shears? What does that have to do with the Deep Dark when there's no leaves there? As for the Echo Copper - yeah, that recipe is sounding obnoxiously expensive and in no way worth it. I think it needs a lot more work, honestly. But the block textures look nice.
the mod is good, but for some reason the concept of "warden killing" is still bothering me when playing with deep dark enhancing mods.

@@elekiddo i just dont see the point of killing the warden, when the loot he drops is easy to get from chests anyway.
I agree, the whole point of the warden was not to kill it, so it’s pretty annoying when every deep dark mod makes you kill it

It feels like a lot of mods that work to “improve” the deep dark don’t really understand what makes it interesting and unique in the first place

Think you could cover some fabric mods? I personally think it's way better
Sometimes it's forge sometimes fabric. It's a review on the mods that are worth checking out
@@theglobe2050 true, but fabric is far better in terms of optimization. Can't run 100 on forge without terrible fps and lag spikes. 140 on fabric has 60 fps smooth

@@gabusdeux it mostly depends on mods and your pc. Also forge has more and cooler mods. The only ones cool on fabric are Spectrum and Bewitchment
@@theglobe2050 you clearly haven't looked very hard then, considering forge mods have been effortlessly ported to fabric, and even work better oftentimes. Not to mention, the amount of performance enhancing mods available for fabric overwhelms the amount available for forge. So even without considering fabric only mods, it has forge mods easily ported, and runs significantly better
