There always comes that personal self satisfaction when you repair or refurbish such tools. At least that is how I feel. Nice refurbishing of this grinder... Thumbs Up!
FINALLY!!! A restorer who tests first. Most immediately start making things look like new without even knowing if it can still work.
I'm glad you like this way. Thank you for sharing!
It is amazing how much difference changing the bearings make. It is completely new sound of a tool.

Ready to accommodate the repair results 🤭🤭🤭😅😅😅😅
great workmanship quality tools back then
1:06 one trick one can do before taking one of these apart is to take a fiberglass pen (or just plain fiberglass rod) and stick it through the opening of the brush holder into the commutator bars. Then, rotating the blade will make the fiberglass rub against it and clean the bar just enough for the brush to make contact again (after that, it self cleans). This is useful as a first troubleshooting tip because in most cases (with brushed motors) the commutator bars are visible even if the brushes aren't removable from the case, through vents. So a fiber glass rod/pen will go in most of those vents. Also, fiberglass doesn't embed anything into the copper, so that's a plus.
God grant you health! Your hands are golden!
This is the most awesome thing I ever seen 😊
Thank you!

Thank you so much!
@@gear_show No problem ☺☺☺👍👍👍
What purpose did the green string serve at around 12 minutes in? And what was the clear goop for? Nice work, by the way!
Hey, sorry for asking. what kind of grease do you use for these tools? I'm talking about components, not brands. Thanks!
too long to wait for your latest content
I have a handheld vacuum cleaner that is 15,6 V and i want to convert the battery from Nicd to Li-ion because the old ones they dont last for long. What should i do? What materials should i buy?
You can buy pre-assemble battery pack lithium-ion 14.4V and the charger.
Is the centrifugal switch on the back of the rotor for the soft starter?
amazing
Good
perfect
two questions. what was up with the nylon around the coil thing?and are those two spring things on each side he removed early on called solenoids? your work is great im leaning a lot but would love more explanation
haha never mind, I discovered they are called brushes, not solenoids. I found a really excellent Playlist for beginners to understand DC motors: kzhead.info/channel/PL4njCTv7IRbw82wJBDt3empXSMzYa7sUB.html
perfect!!!
Thanks
what is the tool you do the screws in with? i use a drill for this stuff and always struggle getting the bits into deep holes, your tool looks ideal!

Another great restoration. When do you convert it DC power? haha
I saw "spray putty" the other day, kind of a car filler on a can. Maybe you could use it to get even a better finish.
It’s perfect
Thank you!
замечательно
Лучшее оставить корпус шуршавом виде,удобно для работы чтоб зацепить ...
What grease was used?
👍
Why you are using yellow grease, yellows ones for external use. Red ones for uses like this.
👍👌
We are you from ?
Do you sell what are you restore?
❤
I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzhead.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

How to make DeWalt out of Hitachi
Чем он отмывает детали?
Just 35 years and already broken?
It has problem with armature commutator and carbon brushes
Be careful when you first plug in such a old and worn out applicance to the mains! I suggest you at least to test with a multimeter if the shell is in short circuit with the wire terminals, before plugging it in.
You are right, I always think about this too, especially the aluminum body. Anyway, thanks so much for the tips.
Numbeone OK 😂😅😊
Japanese quality. Take care of it and it will serve for centuries
Yes, they are.

I'm sorry to hear that...
I like your videos, I am subscribed to your channel, but in UKRAINE there is a war of electricity for 3 hours a day, I don’t have time to watch. There is no time to shoot for your channel !!!!!!
It is a pity to hear this, I wish your country peace soon.
Be sure to take the guard off your angle grinder for maximum efficiency and work space! 😎👍🏿
Good tip! Thank you!
@Gear Show of course... please.. anyone who reads this don't actually do this. You won't just take out an eye, you'll take out a limb!! Lmaoo
