French antique kerosene heater stove restoration (LE DIAVOLO Etabs Allez Frères Paris).
We have acquired an extremely rusty antique kerosene heater stove. No date information found. First, it started with sandblasting. Screws and salmon were blackened with the help of Gun Blue. The glass in the lid part was replaced with epoxy. The exterior is painted with heat-resistant black paint. Finally, a great video has emerged. Have fun watching!

    • This is a master at work... As soon as I saw the tape on the pliers I knew. I was just gifted an old heater similar to this and it needs to be cleaned up. However Im not sure I can achieve this level of tediousness.

  • Beautiful restoration. The wick should be trimmed flush with the tube to get a blue flame however, all those straggly ends need to go.
