You know what's another badass thing about this song? You might not notice it, but the synth bassline is never played exactly the same way twice, it's played subtly(and sometimes not-so-subtly) different almost every time it repeats.

- That's cool, the instrumental parts of a lot of rap don't have much imagination or variety in them. Somebody put a bit of effort into this one for a change. Not a huge hip-hop guy but this sounds pretty good

I used to listen to this album almost every day when I was in college - we had a pile of CDs in our dorm room kitchen, and Doggy Style was in there😂 It was quite an eclectic CD rotation, as we also had The Bee Gees greatest list in the pile 😂which got played just as much

- Na dude you are right that it is a classic but I feel it is a bit underappreciated. You rarely here people bring it up when bringing up their top tens. You get the usual Illmatic, All Eyez On Me, Ready To Die etc. but Doggystyle always seems to get overlooked.
