Marx S̵͕̆͠o̵̮͊ụ̶̃l̴̛̅ Speedart - Kirby Super Star U̸̳͋̉l̴t̴ŕ̴͌â̸ - Project Dream
The long awaited Marx Project Dream video is FINALLY here! :D
Marx is from Super Star but I based the piece around his Soul version from Super Star Ultra instead, since that's his most powerful form, but I still gave regular Marx plenty of screen-time in the video itself so that evens it out :P
Speaking of Ultra though, let's talk about something for a sec. The 10 Years of Ultra video on my channel. Gonna be honest, I'm not happy with that video and that piece :/ I don't think there's much actually wrong with it (aside from some editing errors and the COMPLETE exclusion of Wham Bam Jewel (still irritates me I didn't have time to include him)), but I just think my skills have improved greatly since making it so when looking back on it, it has aged poorly. So that was my main motivator to put my all into THIS video, since it's Marx and it isn't the first time he's been on this channel :) And well, safe to say I'm delighted with how this vid and the artwork itself came out ^^
- Project Dream Lore Ahead -
After the defeat of the Alternate Zero and Dark Matter, Kirby and Gooey descended from the Hyper Zone and landed on the surface of Pop Star once more, ready to celebrate... they wouldn't get the chance to, however, as a mysterious black hole engulfs Kirby, separating him from Gooey. Kirby falls into a pocket dimension where he finds himself face to face with the crimson outlined silhouette of Marx and Heart of Nova.
Before Kirby can act, the Alternate Marx slices the Heart in two, and completely absorbs it's power! In an alternate timeline, Marx may have been turned into his Soul form with fragments of a Nova and a mysterious energy, but THIS Marx however has absorbed the very core of a Nova at will and can change to and from Soul form in a pinch! Kirby now faces an Alternate Marx Soul, who is much stronger than we may be used to...
...but what about Gooey? While Kirby fights the Alternate Marx Soul, all we know for now is that Gooey is engaged in a battle of his very own against his own kin, using the power of the Rainbow Drops. But he is not alone, for he has friends. Friends that are there to pick you up when you're feeling a little down, rearrange someone's face when they're acting like a clown, and who may indeed be...

...ye all knew I had to do that xD Anyway there's today's lore lmao, the next video is scheduled to be the next Terraria Legends piece but after that will be the next Project Dream, although there may or may not be extras in between, especially since year 1 of college is almost over for me ooooo :o ok yeah see you all next time bye ^^

Dang man, that face and the lighting. It reminds me of the actual nightmares I had of Marx Soul when I was younger. Marx was a character I did genuinely fear at one point in time and I was very much reminded of that fear with this amazing illustration. Well frickin done. 😬 😋👍

I can’t believe it, I was right all along… Anyways, now for what I think about the entire thing, holy DDD, ngl, I thought that we were gonna have Marx fighting an Alternate Marx tbh, like him fighting himself. But honestly, this still totally works, but however, I thought it would’ve been pretty cool. But this still turned out to be AMAZING dude, well done Astronomic👍
Actually yeah that would've been cool! For continuity reasons with the next piece tho, Kirby had to be here in this one, although who knows, maybe we will see the true Marx again sometime :) Anyway yeah thanks for the kind words ^^
Np man, and that’s fair to have Kirby in this one, because it actually does make sense, and besides, it’s been almost 15 years since Super Star Ultra, which is absolutely insane, so this makes sense to put Kirby in this one instead of Marx fighting himself. Also, I just noticed, all we have left now is the Alternate Dark Matter Swordsman, Alternate Galacta Knight, and then finally Fractured Star Dream. I think I know who’s gonna be fighting Galacta Knight.😏And it’s gotta be Bandana Dee, Meta Knight, and King Dedede. I could very well be wrong tho, because I know exactly where that Galacta Knight design’s from, but we shall see what happens.

Interesting Concept on Marx Soul would have had if he was in Smash Ultimate, The two Paints make the two normal versions and they do the old attacks one by one then do a Unison, and If Marx Soul Upgraded his Beam attack, he would be going crazy all around the Arena

Love your recreation of Marx Soul's Defeat. The Nova heart in the middle shattering then his two halfs crumbling to goo.....quite the satisfying improvement on an already very Satisfying super boss demise. Lol anyone that says Kirby is Kiddie simply has not gone far enough into a Kirby game.
You deserve more credit for making videos such as these. The intro is awesome and animations of Marx are amazing along with sound, voice, and music mixes together
You deserve *SO MUCH* more for your quality animations then you do now... It's criminally underrated. This is close to being on par with Gooseworx's level of quality animation.

Ok so I just went through all the lore of project dream, it's super cool, what you are crafting here is worthy of being in a Kirby game. However I have to ask, how does [Spoilers for forgotten land], tie into this? It has similar powers to Fractured Dream, not only that but it has a lot to do with actual dreams too and had [Spoilers for forgotten land], I know this takes place before forgotten land, but I feel like a good way to implement forgotten land into this is leaving the other heroes on their own while the 4 main heroes deal with the forgotten land shenanigans, I mean it would be cool to see the dream friends team up to fight Alt Necrodeus because Kirby and co are unavailable.
Thanks for the kind words :D also yeah unfortunately [Spoilers for Forgotten Land] won't actually be involved in this (maybe there'll be a cameo if I can find a place to squeeze it in). As you said yeh the events of Project Dream take place right after Star Allies, and before the events of Forgotten Land. You have a really cool and solid idea tho, that the 4 heroes get caught up in the Forgor Land action while the rest of the Dream Friends take care of business, but I've already planned out the vast majority of the rest of the Projects lore and want to stick with it, so for that I'm gonna have to mostly keep Forgotten Land stuff out of this Project (At least the big stuff anyway, might sneak in like a song or two somewhere). In terms of Forgotten Land stuff tho I do have some plans for videos on that, but I will have to stay silent about that for now ;) (Funny you mentioned an Alt Necrodeus tho, cause that was actually a thing, Magolor and Susie were fighting one in the intro to Gooey's Project Dream video :D)

Can't believe I slept on this for so long. This is incredible! I can't think of any one else who went so far for a speed draw! I just recently picked up a drawing tablet and I'm trying to learn digital art, and it's really slow going hahaha. I can barely draw kirby it looks like a 2 year old did it, and seeing someone like you drawing incredible works of art like this is kinda intimidating not gonna lie, and I've been low on time to with college and all, but while looking at something like this is intimidating, it's also a goal I want to reach some day! Keep up the amazing work! Can't wait to see how you handle the dreamland 3 buddies!
