I find it really cool how Big Hit gives BTS so much artistic freedom over their work. Of course, BTS have always worked on the previous albums but this one is basically all by them. The album cover design, the songs, and even the music video is being recorded by JK. I love it
It's so true. I'm not sure but I don't think any company in the K-pop industry gives as much freedom to their idols/artists as BigHit gives to BTS. They let them write, produce and create their own music by themselves, and that's what makes their songs so special and meaningful. They always comes up with a different theme or genre every single time which is so refreshing to listen to! I really appreciate it man!! ✨

Actually not all songs are by them, they make the songs and submit it to the company , besides them there are various producers and composers who submit their own songs , then overall songs are chosen . What makes it more special that each member is trying hard.

Are you kidding? The last album had so many songs with so many foreign songwriters. Only RM had songwriting credits on the majority of the songs (usually because he had a hand in a lot of the lyrics). BTS have gradually written less and less for their albums. It is understandable because they have so much on their plate with other things, but they definitely aren't writing all their own stuff though. "Most American singers get other people to write..." Lmao, give me one example of a major pop artist who does not have the main songwriting credits. It's actually their advantage to work/produce their own song unlike other company/group. And we can't deny the fact how amazing these people are.. They really grew a lot like everyone has their own contribution. Excited to hear the whole album! ✨
With Jimin putting together the members' songs and their discussions; with V being the project manager for the visuals; and Jungkook filming the trailer or the mtv, I sense the direction to which BTS is going. I can see how the hyungs are slowly turning over bigger responsibilities to the maeknaes. I can see RM and Jhope trying to keep themselves from giving out too much to enable the maeknaes to speak out their ideas and I feel the hyungs are now slowly stepping back from production side for the maeknaes to take over some of the work. It's about time...they are old enough. Lucky maeknaes...they learned from the best of the best....the hyung line of Bangtan Sonyeondan.

Ok when he said Jungkook is still in college, I researched a bit and all members except jin who has a degree already.As reported by Soompi, Big Hit Entertainment clarified that the singers enrolled in the program last year. “RM, Suga, and J-Hope enrolled in Hanyang Cyber University’s graduate school for an MBA in Advertising & Media in March last year, and they are currently attending school. Jimin and V will enter Hanyang Cyber University’s graduate school for an MBA in Advertising & Media in September.” Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, which has also impacted South Korea, the interview for the graduate school were carried out through online video calls. Jungkook, actually graduated from high school, the School of Performing Arts, Seoul, after already debuting with the boy band.As of now, jungkook is a global cyber university student majoring in entertainment and broadcasting. So technically all of them are in college except jin.
