  • For people who are asking for Lock Screen, after choosing the apps and clicking on “Next”, you have to click on create automation and then search Lock Screen. In my opinion this video is still not the correct way to lock apps.

    • basically its just showing you default options, after clicking next click on get started heading> cick on new blank automation, then it will show you the add action option

  • You can still reverse all this from shortcuts app since it cant be locked lol. Apple was always half assed at features.

    • You can create a seperate shortcut to lock the screen. Then, go to the automation and select that shortcut :) I had the same problem

  • Thank you for this video but I hate this way of locking Apps as it does not allow you to set a new password to unlock the Apps. Once somebody has your passcode they can access the locked Apps. I am disappointed with Apple. In an Android phone you can set a separate passcode to unlock your screen and a separate passcode to unlock your Apps. It is a much easier process than for an Apple device
