I’m assuming this video is getting some traction again because a lot of you are asking about the trainer code because it’s no longer working. Experience creators need to update their experiences every update and NoName has stopped doing so - that’s why it’s unavailable.

Controller tip: if you are looking for an extra button, you can bind both map and melee to the center pad…tap will knife, hold will bring up the map.

@@Igarron I put prone on the circle button because for some reason when prone is bound to the right stick it makes me lay down in the middle of gunfights…I guess my thumb is heavy

How do you open the plus menu on PlayStation. I’ve tried every button. Is it only a function on PC?
Side Note: If you're a squad leader consider marking flags. It seems inconsequential, but the additional points for capturing is worth it. After specialist were nerfed by putting them into classes , McKay will not benefit from Nimble unless he's using the Assault Class proficiency weapons.
Thank for letting me know there keeping the Squad Leader feature, Ever since I accidentally learned that in BF4, I Always Mark the Flags for the extra Bonus as well

Mackay always benefits from his passive, he don't have to use an assault rifle for it. If you don't trust me, just go on the map shown in the video, use mackay and another specialist, and time the time it takes to parcour the same distance
good to know, I loved using McKay with sniper rifle and spawn beacon until that was taken away
Huge Tip for new players: LEARN how to pilot the helicopters and jets, you don't want to not know what you're doing or waste them as their amazing utility

2nd this. I haven't played BF muliplayer since hardline so I've been playing in solo to get reacustomed to the controls. It also helps to use solo for this since you can access the vehicles may more often and when you screw up your not hurting other people's game.
ADS FOV make such a huge difference. Can't believe I've been playing for 150 hours not knowing this option exists. What an absolute game changer. Thanks for the advice mate!

I purchased this game about a week ago because it was on sale for steam and as a new player, the #4 point about load outs has been the most beneficial for me. Though you don't get the same exp as you do in regular pvp matches, the solo campaign and breakthrough modes allow you to easily unlock attachments.
That and they help you get used to playing. I enjoy it more than I probably should.
Really appreciate the info on a practice range type of space. Having played a lot of WZ it took me a while to navigate getting my PS5 controller settings right for me…never played Battlefield until it came to PS Plus but I’m definitely enjoying the hell out of it now.

Helpful. I learned a lot of this stuff within my first little while playing. From new player to other new players, stuff you definitely need to learn is the movement stuff mentioned in this video, but also the cut parachute button (I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and it got me killed many times). It's left ctrl

at 75 years old and loving PC FPS games Bf2042 seems so much more "enjoyable" than Bf4 which I have over a 1,000 hrs on. I get tired of the dominating players getting 75 kills and 2 deaths, and claiming their just "skilled." Bf2042 seems so much more equitable and enjoyable. You can get lot of kills satisfying your enjoyment and realizing you're not a big a noob like on other games, where I typically get less than 10 kills and 25 deaths lol.

For thw attachments, its set to dpad by default after opening the menu
Im new to the game and i love playing hardcore servers or milsim but for a reason i cant play some servers in Portal, it gives me an Error that it says "The game session is not available" and a code, and i see that there is people playing on the servers bcs the servers are almost full all the time

Good stuff, just one correction: on consoles, spotting is done with the right bumper, not the left. The left bumper pulls out the grenade.
That’s how it’s been on bf4. I’ve been playing that for years and just got this battlefield. But can I pull the grenade and throw it with left bumper like bf4? Having to pull with left bumper and throw with right trigger is time consuming
@@CHENOTV agreed, man. It kills me far more often than I'd like. After making this comment, I actually finished my first PC build and have been learning KBM; it's just as bad. I'll hit G and forget I have to actually throw the grenade. NOT a fan.

If you feel like the aiming feels weird go to settings and turn “left/right acceleration” to 0 and your aiming will feel normal again

about sky pad or any pad..my whole desk top is eva foam with some textures on it..its like one big pad of all pads.
Tip: If you are playing on controller just play Battlefield 5. Unless you enjoy getting laser beamed in 2 milliseconds repeatedly.

Talking about RB on controllers tap once to spot tap twice to place marker ..but if you mess up by a second it will pull you out of ADS and pull up order and drop in bar ...its really annoying it must have killed my guy 100s of times.
I’m trying to play solo in the portal to practice I’ve tried different codes my cross play is enabled all my setting r allowed and under profile on portal it says cross play is off which is different from ur video and when I hit A on Xbox it keeps saying unidentified error. I just got into it the other day. It’s frustrating starting out to say the least especially coming from call of duty. I know dying is a part of growth but damn it’s like as soon as I respawn I’m dead. I used to be pretty decent at Battlefield 3 and 4. One thing I've always loved about battlefield is there never seems to be an obvious meta gun or load out like cod going back and playing bf1 and 5 I can pick nearly any assault or semi auto rifle and feel like I'm doing just as good
BF3 meta was AEK assault rifle or Shotgun with incendiary rounds. It got annoying fast and never nerfed
I feel like that way makes it way more fair considering the alternate like cod where the higher level gun you have the better you are....ruins the experience. I've always loved battlefield and I'm glad this one is dope asf

AC-42 (if I’m not misremembering it’s name) is the gun that needs reworked in this game. You unlock it later in the game but until you get it, you’re just getting wrecked by it
Used to play Battlefield 4 A LOT. I skipped 1 and 2 because I didn’t enjoy the WW1 and 2 feel. But I just downloaded this because I got it with PS Plus and I’ve gotta say. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. It has been a while so I do suck again 😂. The only thing I haven’t missed is the camping. I don’t understand people who spend the entire game on one objective.
As a veteran battelfield 1 player that game was the ultimate game experience it’s a shame things are going backwards not forwards

Started playing battlefield since bf2 back in the day.. then cod fan boy for years then got bored and my mate showed my Battlefield 4.. loves it, that's all I played, then BF1, BF5 and now BF2042... It's not I don't like this game.. I know it's gotten better... But my only problem is that I can never seem to see the enemy until it's too late.. and I play on a 43inch 4k TV... But a killer and I think that sells the game is the portal mode.. love revisiting bf3 maps and playing 1942 mode

Bind it to the buttons on your mouse, if your mouse has buttons - which it should.

From my experience on console (series s) the spot button is RB/R1 not LB/L1
Yes, LB/L1 for console is to bring out your grenade, which isn't immediately thrown. I was confused the first time I tried to throw a grenade and I was just holding it. Lol
@@kyleduddleston4123 idk how long you've played 2042, but before the more recent updates I had changed my settings to tap L1 to throw a grenade automatically but now I have to pull out the nade and then throw it. If you have any advice on how to fix that I would really appreciate it cause I can't stand it 😩😆

What gun are you using ib this video and what attachments are you using on it?
He is using multiple guns and if you are new attachments won’t be unlocked and it takes awhile so just focus on getting kills.

Because I’m controlling the recoil. Only difference in aim is between inputs as controllers have 30% less recoil.

It's a combination of a few skins b/c you can pick and choose on non-legendary skins. Idk which ones these are though.

bro I can’t even get into a game online or solo/co-op. Junk says it’s loading into a match but cancels itself and returns to the main menu.
I hate that when running the crosshair turns into a tiny dot. I don’t remember that being the case in other BF games but maybe I’m wrong.
You can turn that off, look it up. I don’t remember exactly how.
Ive Been playing bf since bad company and I've enjoyed 2042 it's just really weird aiming in this game feels janky and recoil is insane in this game other then that I've enjoyed the game

It’s a setting you can change on PC if you go into the game’s prosavefile.

Seems like pc always has the upper hand. Even by this demo he has here, seems like the aim is like aim assist on gta automatically goes to next near enemy. I stick to ps4 version just cause after some views on kd with pc most players I been matched against are at a kd of 5.3 😑
I haven't finished the video, but God help me please EMPHASISE PTFO The influx of new players is great for kills, but if your entire team is new they do not PLAY THE OBJECTIVE, it's almost impossible to have a balanced match
Start in team death match till you're confident in a 1v1 gunfight.
