I say, the best period for me was around 2008-2009, I remember running to clan wars and just loads of friendly people just sitting around and having a laugh, freaking miss that time period. The animations, the music, the graphics... Ahh
Runescape 2.5 with full screen and better animated characters really was elite.

I was dumb enough to walk from clan wars south to the normal world whilst being low hp from clan wars ( i went out the free for all portal with half health) and a revenant goblin with magic spells came and I lost my light blue trimmed rune legs and helmet. Damn I cried, now I laugh. Good old times

I remember forming Mage/Range only clans in f2p clan wars back in 2008. We owned so many. I also remember the Revenant massacre. There were around 6 revs next to each other. So many players died.
THIS RIGHT HERE just brings back so many fond memories! I remember for like two weeks straight I had the same clan and we would coordinate when to play clan wars when we all got home from school. The highest level of us at the time was like 60-62, which was me, and we almost never won any battles, but holy fuck did we have a good time. Literally makes me so sad that it will never happen again. The good old days are truly gone. :'(

Lol yep. You could take such a deep breath when you finally got there. Though one time I did see a poor soul getting attacked a by revenant vampire like just outside of the clan wars area hahaha.

I remember the times when this two portals were add to game one was safe from loosing items and another one was oposite. Remember sitting in towers inside this portal and making fun with firends, attacking everyone that start fighting, that was a good time, always in my memory ❤

I remember starting up "clan wars" before Jagex put in the game... I would gather up people in a clan, then my friend would gather up people in his clan and we would battle it out... oh so many memories :)
reminds me of travelling all the way to clan wars in wildy, risking a 10% that a revenant might attack me then join a mass clan, start piling, change armor to ranger and snipe them then bind when necessary. damn good times

Got some hysterical stories doing clan wars. When I was one of the clan leaders and disabled melee. All opposing team had was a bunch of gs. While we could range and high mage. We owned the bastards. They approved what I did and it was funny. Got upset when they realized what they did.

@DirkKok I hated EoC first. And then when I kept playing, started liking it. The only gripe is no dds speical, miss it so much. Coming from a player since 2007, EoC gets better when you keep playing it.

EoC made it shitty. Period. Its just a bad update, to a alot of ppl. A lot of ppl didnt want the change to no specs or this "new generation" of runescape. There are quite a number of ppl who like it but they never surface so we just assume.
