I've been a Habs fan for 35 years and I've never been so excited about any Habs player. Regardless of his size this kid will score 50 some day.

Love this kid. Even the cellis are charming and different...and that smile! What a joy to have him on 'our' team. Can't imagine why so many critics, experts and fans alike, are so anti-smurf, so to speak, constantly knocking the likes of him, Suzuki, Debrincat (they could easily be mistaken for brothers), GAUDREAU for their lack of prototypical stature (while their success as hockey players grates on every fibre of their being, not just ears!) and studly aspect. Remember a short 3 yrs ago when the Blues made an incredible run at the end of the regular season, through the playoffs and took Stanley's chalice? They had GM's sleepless trying to figure out how they were going to align their team with the new paradigm shift for hockey success: fast and physical galoots (>6'4") on the 3 defensive lines because without that at team couldn't possibly make it to the finals, much less win the Cup. Of course, as with all pseudo-shifts, the smurfs made it to finals since then and they just finished beating the Blues (ok, a couple of days ago) BAD, in their own house. Love this kid. Keep making the haters grate, grit their teeth and curse anyone under 6' that has game and toughness enough to fairly compete and succeed at the elite pro level.

Great scorer, but he needs good linemates to set up chances. Give Cole a chance, and he'll score.
