The iPhone 13 Pro is one of the best value smartphones you can pick-up right now- so close to the 14 Pro for significantly less cash, and I highly recommend it for those who have been considering it. What about you, who's using the 13 Pro right now? Are you thinking of getting one?
remember back in the day when they were making really big jumps with Things like iPhone 3GS to 4, 5 to 5s. it’s sad that basically every phone nowadays is like what you would get from an S upgrade.
@@timoyjonsen5428 Honestly, smartphones have just gotten so good there's very little differences to be made every year beyond the camera improvements. A lot easier now to only upgrade every 2-3 years
Guess I’m logical I’m not swapping my 13 pro for ages, I may even keep it even after my contract runs out
Yeah I was thinking that might be it, but why don’t they just call it an S phone?
No don’t get the iPhone 13 Pro Max makes no sense Yes if you already have 13 pro max I understand keeping it your not supposed to upgrade your phone every year but if you are buying a new phone why buy the one that’s a year older when you can get the one is the newest your only saving like 100 dollars getting the 13 pro max so no it’s not smart keep if you already have but if upgrading get the latest edition cuz there’s nothing better bout the 13 pro max then the 14 pro max and it’s only 100 dollars more
Watching on iPhone 13 Pro. Had it for almost 2 years and 90% battery. Last me a whole day without any slowdown. Best premium value I ever paid.
How many watts was your charger, and up to what percentage did you charge and discharge it?
Went from a XR to the 13 Pro, after the iPhone 14 launched, took advantage of the discount it got. Loving it so far!
Same here
Same here, from X went to 13 pro a week ago. Amazing phone so far.
Currently using xs but gonna get the 13 pro for christmas
Same here, i just waited for the 14pro to come out so i can upgrade with 13pro from XR.
@@retrokate1 same here! Just received my 13 pro after using the iPhone x for a long time. And it was such a great upgrade
I upgraded to the 13Pro from my 6s and it has been a huge upgrade and I’m probably going to keep it for a good while.
Miss my 3D touch though. My favorite feature
Great review. I upgraded from the 8 Plus to the 13 Pro a few weeks ago, and definitely plan to hold on to this phone for a while as well. I liked the design of the 8 Plus, but I was getting close to maxing out my storage space on that phone. I love the design of my new 13 Pro as well - possibly even more than I liked the 8 Plus design. I've been thinking about upgrading for a while, but took my time researching. The 13 Pro hit the sweet spot for features that I wanted in a phone. Great phone for anyone considering it!
Thing about modern iPhones is that it’s usually minor upgrades each generation that culminate into a large group of noticeable QOL improvements from your 4-5 year old phone… Exactly what happened to me from the first gen SE to the 12 Pro Max.. I don’t think I could ever convince myself to upgrade after only a single generation LOL. Great video as always!
That’s a huge jump
woaaah! I thought going from a first gen SE to a 12 Mini was a big jump, that size difference had to be massive
Wise thinking. I pretty much so do the same thing. I went from my 4S to the 6S and now I’m thinking about getting the iPhone XS or XS max. My boyfriend has the iPhone XS Max and says it’s really nice and basically the same as a 14 but bigger and I agree.
@@9852323 i would go with the 11 pro minimum if your financial situtation allows it. That one really feels on par on the most part with todays iphones. the XS in late 2022 is going to get outdated fast
I think the 13P is going to hold its value well over the next few years as it’s the last premium iphone with the traditional notch and a sim tray
My 13Pro is an E sim. Not all of them are physical
The iPhone 13 pro might be the only iPhone with a notch and 120hz.
@@Jac0b22 that's just not true
e-sim is for US market only. the rest of the world gets tray, and i've never seen someone say they prefer the notch over the pill
the iPhone 14s have a sim tray 🤦🏽♂
I got the 13 Pro Max last October, before that I was rocking a 7 Plus, so it was a really good upgrade, great video
Just bought a 13 pro from eBay and been watching video about it since. Thanks for this video! ❤
Great review I own an 11 and I’m looking to upgrade and will definitely go to the 13 pro. Thanks again for sharing.
This helped me greatly because as of dec 7th no store has the 14 pro's due to production. They're not going to be available supposedly for almost two more months. But my carrier has the 13 pro's still. So I'm going that route instead since there similar 👍👍 great video for the production issues we're facing today with the 14 pro in China
im about to get one! am not a fan of the latest apple models so getting a generation earlier is always the best option for me. this was extremely useful.
13 ProMax is amazing. Upgraded form the 11 ProMax and my only regret is trying to switch things up and get sliver instead of black 😂 might try to stretch this thing until iPhone 16 if possible.
Great review! Today I moved my husband from an 8 Plus to an iPhone 13, and it was very easy to transfer data iPhone to iPhone, placing the phones side by side after backing the old phone into iCloud, just in case. I'm so impressed with the 13 that I ordered from Amazon a Renewed Premium (Premium Renewed?) 13 Pro and will add a comment after I receive and transfer my files from Android to IOS. Ironically, this is the same phone I was going to buy new from Apple but didn't act quickly enough before the 14s came out.
i upgraded from my xr to my sierra blue 13 pro back in march and i love it
Bought my 13 pro max in January and use it everyday to play games and KZhead and still 100% battery health today
Cool video 91Tech!!! Wish I could have one tomorrow for my Birthday 🤩🥳💛😇 October 25!
I purchased a 13 pro max demo unit for 550 USD. Pretty killer deal imo. It’s in pretty decent condition considering it was a demo unit
I still love my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apart of my battery health being 10% less now at 90%. Battery life I still good but less than day one to be expected. It’s still fast as day one. No screen burn yet. With my Samsungs a year later would mean screen burn for me. So happy for iPhone this hasn’t happened yet. I’m going to keep it for another 2 years. I have a 3 year contract
iPhones needing less ram isn't about Apple "optimizing" their software. The only difference is apps on iPhones don't have to run through a runtime (ART, formerly DALVIK,) which is there so developers don't have to develop the app specifically for every Android phone, that would be impossible. Usually, ART takes about twice the amount of ram on smaller apps. Bigger apps are typically developed specifically for devices outside any runtime though, which is why off brand phones might not be compatible with certain games/large apps. Big apps like those usually use the same, or less ram on Android. With all that said, as recently as Android 12, Google still considered phones with 6 gb of ram to be "high performance"
Hey bro! Great content! Are you a fellow Texan? Houston is my second home! I saw the Williams Tower in one clip!
I love this video! I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max green color and I love it! Pictures are awesome quality and colors! Also videos! Definitely a must to buy!
Hey thanks for clearing up things for me,I’m going to get one.what airline we’re you flying with and where were you going to
I just ordered a 13 pro and max from T-Mobile with 1 terabyte of storage for $949 with $400 trade in, which brings the phone to $549! Giving my 14 pro 256 gigabyte to my wife, max to my daughter, and I’ll keep the 13 pro. I think I’ll buy the previous years model from now on.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a renewed silver 13 pro via Amazon. Hope I made a good choice since I'm from one of Android.
7:19 great music choice bro
just scored a hella good deal on ebay for a 13 pro max 512gb in good condition for $740 let’s goooooo
Ive had the 13 Pro for 6 months comming from an iPhone X and its absolutley amazing and so fast and premium in every category.
The 13 rpo seems to be a very reasonable price in the aftermarket scene, might have to get one
The 13PM is still a great phone. Mine’s still going strong with 100% battery health after 10 months of use. Definitely gonna keep it for a while longer
Mine was at 99% for 10 months, then I went on a one week trip to the outdoors and filmed tons of animals and glaciers, tons of camera work and charging now it’s at 96% at 11 months
It was released only a year ago. The only thing that really wears out in iPhones in a 1 or 2 year period is the battery which is cheaply replaceable. The 13 pro will be good for many more years to come.
@@9852323 do u happen to know how much it’ll cost to replace battery? This is my first iPhone since I left android.
@@mathewwong1415 depends on the iPhone. A fairly new iPhone will run about $99 I believe. That is the new price for battery replacement. Older models may be about 50-60$.
@@jaywright9635 thx, I can easily pay that in two years to extend the longevity of my phone for six years
Ive bought my first iphone a 13 pro new sealed for 875 euro vs 1329 euro in holland and i must say its a beast of a phone ^^
I am still using iphone 13 pro. So happy with it, I will keep it for a couple of years.
I am on the fence on 256gb or 1TB for his phone! Great review, I miss your solo reviews 👏🏾
Got my 13 pro & ion think I’ll upgrade battery still good just this phone is all around great !!!
No doubt have the alpine green, got it in june. I feel like it’ll last a very long time. It’s like when I got the 2017 macbook pro w touch bar, i paid for extra processing and it’s still incredible. don’t always agree w the company, but a couple of times I made the extra investment and it withstands future updates for years. I didn’t know they stopped selling them, that’s crazy. Insanely good phone
I love my 13 pro max however if you want one new I’d suggest you jump to the 14 pro max if you live in Australia because places that still have stock of iPhone 13pros haven’t discounted them unfortunately
I have 14 Pro Max and the always on I actually turn it off. I’d prefer the extra battery over the always on display. I never found myself in a situation where I needed to see the lock screen but couldn’t touch my phone for some reason.
Literally waste like 8% battery life & even less if you turn off raise to wake with it.
Complete opposite for me. AOD is something I could never go back from. So useful not having to touch my phone throughout the day to see notifications etc. It also uses very little battery and less than Android devices with just a plain black AOD.
i got ordered my 13 pro max yesterday, my first big upgrade going from a 7 to a 13, i got it off back market for $790. condition is supposedly but im hopeful
I’m in love with my 13 Pro!
Yay 13 Pro. I like my Sim tray
Is it worth it to buy a openbox 13 pro? I don't want to buy a used one or refurbished, but is so hard to find a new one in canada
I am thinking about if i should buy the 13 pro or just wait and buy the regular 15 because I really like the dynamic island and the regular 15 is rumored to have it
This time last year, I upgraded from iPhone 7 to XS. Meanwhile, my kids went from iPhone X to the Alpine Green 13 Pro. Personally, I'm not a fan of the shape or weight of their phone. I'm very happy with all the XS' features, and made a conscious decision to get it rather than the year before's X - the XR was never in the running for me, due to its lower specification. Have to say, I'll probably stay with XS til Apple stop giving it the latest IOS.
I have a 13 pro for about 5months now and had my wife upgrade from 12 mini to a 13 pro as well it’s that worth it.
I sold my iphone 12 couse battery issues and bought a iphone 13 pro . And i gota say its going really great. Battery and display being the major diferences. Camera was great kn my 12 but the upgrade is quite nice to
I have just ordered one.
Do you think the 13Pro/Max will retain decent trade in value once the 15 comes around? I need to upgrade but want USB C, and plan to trade in whatever I buy now to get it... Would definitely appreciate any input!
Definitely. Even if the 15 makes big changes because of the 14 pro isn’t that much different from the 13pro I’d imagine it would hold good value. It would only be 2 generations behind and iPhones hold their value well either ways
Yes of course I promise you'll see!!!
Get the 13 pro. It’s way cheaper, just as good. Dynamic island is nice but a sim tray is better
Am I doing something wrong? I’ve gone to several websites and looked for used 13 pros but they are all still in the 900+ range for used..
😏😏😏😏I love this guy's videos.
@@91Tech could you revisit the iPad ninth generation again, even the iPad 10 was announced yesterday, it isn’t really worth it in my opinion it’s just a dumb down. IPad Air 4. Also, I can’t believe Apple raise the price.
I shifted from an Android phone to iPhone 13 pro after like using android OS for 12 years and was spellbound with the performance and other parameters of iPhone
Is it better to buy a 13 pro now or wait for the 15?
I been thinking about getting this phone for an upgrade from my iPhone 11. Funny now this video pops up
Rick Astley Dynamic Island. Never thought I'd ever say that like Rick never thought he would ever give you up.
I got a 13 pro for 500$ yesterday I’m switching from the new pixel 7 , Google is good but still having over heat issues and lag with the OS and camera launch
This is first time I’m not upgrading. I have the blue 13 pro. I agree that the 14 is weak. They should have called it 13S. If you have an older phone it will be good upgrade
I recently got the 13 Pro 256 GB for an affordable price with a 98% battery life. Is a great phone!
where did u find those wallpapers on 1:07?
I bought my 13 pro a bit late and my battery life is at 98%. Definitely will stick with it until 15 pro comes out. Even 16 probably.
I’ve bought a new phone every year since 2010. 13 pro max is the first phone where I’ve decided not to upgrade, its just a perfect all rounder and I’m a heavy heavy user yet have never killed the batter in a day. The size is so large I hardly every use my iPad.
Iphone 13 pro is just so perfect I just cannot imagine a scenario where i’ll want to upgrade in next 5 years at least
Wouldn’t it be better to get a normal sized phone like the base model or pro when you already have an iPad. I have an iPad mini and I’m confused between 13pro and pro max. I like a bigger size but I could always use my iPad for that 😭
What do you suggest
Picking up one today for $300 perfect condition
Just out of my budget range for me, maybe in the first quarter of 2022, hopefully
In the US, are eBay prices final, no hidden taxes? Because $600 for an used 13 Pro 128GB is an incredibly good deal. Here in Europe, prices fall very slowly and even models that are many years old are sold for a lot of money. A year used 13 Pros are starting around $850 and 900 for good looking phone is considered a great deal.
Yeah, the price increase in Europe for the 14 Pro also helped
What is the latest price for a brand new iphone 13 pro ?
Will you make a video for the new iPads and new Apple TV 4K 3rd generation?
Probably not :(, I don't usually keep up with the new stuff, but a video on the iPad 9 very well could be coming!
@@91Tech yay, I can’t wait, unfortunately, the iPad ten is out of my budget unfortunately
I got a 13 pro 256gb from Verizon at a discount
Amazon renewed is $829 and is nearly new, barely any scratches and 99% battery
I have the 12 pro max should i upgrade to the 13 pro ? My iPhone is still good
Wasn’t planning on upgrading from my xr but the screen shattered when I accidentally dropped it 😢 got the 13 pro 1tb for $950 I think that’s a steal.
I’ve had my XR for four years and recently shattered on the front and back, to the point where I cut my inner ear when I was talking on the phone. Even the camera glass broke 😭. Bought the 13 Pro in Gold 512GB and I’m excited
I paid £889 for a 256 gb gold Apple certified refurbished and i can say the phone is nice if you have too pick between a normal 13 get the pro . There over £1000 brand new which i wasn’t paying if you buy an Apple certified iphone you get 100% battery brand new battery screen basically a used iphone with new externals with the choice of apple care plus insurance which you dony get on a used iphone
I'm probably going to keep my iPhone 13pro and see if the iPhone 15 is even worth a upgrade if not im keeping my iPhone 13pro
Definitely the right choice!
@@91Tech the 13 Pro is still good, the iPhone 14 lineup is very niche
Damn so I can’t walk into Apple store and the 13 pro anymore 😢
Honestly I got a 13 Pro Max like a month before the 14 series. And I think I’m going to keep it as my main phone. I really can’t stand not having a SIM tray. If I get the international version I got no mmWave. It’s a lose-lose imo.
Does MmWave really that big of a difference though?
@@emilsecker7881 definitely, 5G in europe is crap
Yes, but nowhere in this world supports it...
@@timoyjonsen5428 probably because governments don’t want to adopt it yet, sadly
mmWave is almost non existent outside the US and some high end Asian countries. Shouldn’t be a factor to consider.
I currently have a s9+ and trying to upgrade to an iphone 13 pro that is unlocked but looking for a new one
Can this phone last up to 4-5 years? I'm thinking of getting my first Apple device but I want to make sure I don't have to get a new one in a year or two
Of course it can. Only battery will need changing
Still on iOS 15.7.1 on my 13PM should I update??
Love this phone
I upgraded to the 13 pro max from a 7 plus in June. It was worth it.
I upgraded to an 11 Pro from an 8 Plus just this month. No more Max-sized phones for me, need something pocketable that doesn't stick out my pants. Couldn't phone splurge, needed to replace my iPad Air 2 and then got my first Apple Watch at the same time.
my iphone 12 is giving me some issues and i am thinking about getting the 14 pro, if anyone has done this should i do it?
Love you you the on channel I love ❤️
what about the battery?
My Brothers and Sisters, just curious, what year will the IPhone 20, come out?
2028 presumably
I'm and Android guy but I'm moving away from laggy android I can't wait to get an new iPhone when vi gave the money.
My 13 Pro has been an amazing phone, except for a little OLED burn in on the top right corner where the wifi cellular and battery stats are.
How does that happen
@@Ghostmanetx well those pixels are always lit. They don’t change so it leads to burn in. I can only notice it with mobile games. But it’s still kinda bugs me
@@prestonrhody Oh wow, I have an iPhone XR and this has happened to me as well. I never knew what to google though because I didn’t know how to explain it 😅. I’d get it like in the middle of my screen. Fortunately for you it’s only notice on games.
13 pro max is amazing! won't upgrade unless the next models looks "upgraded"
i have it since december 2021 , and can tell camera is messy , despite switching off autofocus , it still tends to jump to wide camera randomly , 11 pro max is the one i would recommend to everyone
Stop trolling bro get out, what’s wrong with u
I got a like-new 13 pro max about a month before the 14 series came out for about three quarters of the price. It really was a steal. Terrific phone although iOS 16 really screwed over the battery life. It’s gone back to normal somewhat but it’s still not as good as before.
the dog steels the show ha-ha🤣
Just got mine yesterday
Do you like it I am planning on buying one from my carrier Verizon wireless they still sell it new but now they sell it refurbished I am thinking buying it refurbished instead
Course the 13 its still very good device
i bought this phone like 2 months ago and im not planning to upgrade for the next coming 3 years, it's that good fr
Is this a joke? Of course it’s still worth it! It’s only a year old and it’s a fantastic phone. Even the iPhone XS and iPhone 11 Pro would still be worth it lol.
Of course it’s still worth it, it’s better than the iPhone 14 plus in every way and costs slightly less.
I got a 13p for 660 unlocked amazon its very good
I got the 13 pro max and am honestly happy to keep it for a while: 1. Because I don’t care to get a new phone every year 2. The battery life on this phone has been incredible and it has only dropped 3% in the last 7 months of using it 3. I’m not getting a new phone until there’s another green one (mostly a joke but if there happens to be a green pro model iPhone or another phone that’s green and a good phone in the next 2-4 years, I’ll definitely get one)
Bought it 4 weeks ago great phone only major issue! The freaking battery life! It’s just as bad as my iPhone 12. Before you jump on the fence I went to all the system things. Called costumer service and everything is battery safe set. Everyone was like iPhone 13 pro and max have great battery life. Well I feel F in my A hole ones again…
My battery experience has been sometimes great and sometimes meh. I think it has to do with iOS 16
Just got the 13 pro max to replace my 12 PM and absolutely love the INSANE battery life I’m holding on to this one for a while
was it brand new and not refurbished? I can't find a brand new anywhere. I don't trust eBay.

@@fijiwill2237 the upgrade from the 12 to 13 generation was a really great one, if only for the much better battery across the board
10% drop in battery life over 1 year!? I've had a 13 pro max for about 13 months and I JUST dropped to 99% battery health. I have an XR that I got when they first came out and it's now at 96%. You should not be dropping down to 90% health in a year. If you are, you're doing something wrong!
I can see it happening, my 11 was down to 84 after 2 & 1/2 years and I used it heavily, my mom has the 2020 se and it’s still at 96%. Just depends on how much you’re using it
@@Jthewoods153 What are doing that causes your battery to lose 10% a year? My wife had an 11 for 2.5 years and was on it nonstop, I mean ALWAYS on it, watching TikTok, posting and selling on Facebook, etc., and the battery health is currently 97%. She just got a 14 pro. In all the years of my family owning iPhones I've never had a battery get below 92%. I'm not doubting you, i just can't imagine that happening.
I’m down 2 percent in six months. First Apple phone. I don’t know if that’s good or bad? Heavy user but following all apples recommendations.
Fast charging, draining the battery down all the way, really stopped using my computer and just use my phone most of the time, playing KZhead videos while I work for 4-6 hours at a time. It gets changed like twice a day honestly.
