5/6/24 This deal was made through the USA, Egypt & Iran that Hamas just agreed to. They only agreed to have 33 of the 133 hostages released. Israel did not negotiate or agree to this deal.

What I saw in anotther report is that the "deal" Hamas "accepted" is different from what was proposed. I would not assume this is an "acceptance" in good faith. It might just be a tactic to stave off the Rafah attack that already started.

I'm skeptical. Israel already offered this deal; why would it need to go through Egypt and Qatar. It needs to be kept to a temporary ceasefire so there is a royal fresh can of whop@$$ of hamas once the hostages are handed over. If israel doesnt like a single term of the deal, they need to raise holy hell in rafah.

I agree a cease fire is great, but Hamas is not exactly what I would call a peaceful group. And no, Israel and Hamas are not the same. Hamas started this war, Israel is responding to them starting this. Hamas uses people as human body shields, Israel does not. They are not the same. I am happy to hear that the civilians will finally have a break from suffering though.
