Lyrics:
(Verse 1 - Willow)
When I wake up
I can’t even stay up
I slept through the day, fuck
I’m not getting younger
But when I’m older
I’ll be so much stronger
I’ll stay up for longer
Meet me at our spot
Caught a vibe
Baby are you coming for the ride?
(The ride x3)
I just wanna look into your eyes
(Your eyes x2)
I just wanna stay for the night night night
When we take a drive
Maybe we can hit the 405
Hypnotized by the lights
Man, this must be the life
(Verse 2 - Tyler)
When I go to sleep
I can’t even fall asleep
Something’s got ahold of me
Feel it taking over me
But when I’m older I’ll be moving onward
I just got a drunk text (Meet me at our spot)
We caught a vibe (Yeah Yeah)
Baby are you coming for the ride?
(The ride x3)
When I look into your eyes
(Your eyes x2)
I just wanna hold you all night (All night)
Maybe we can take a drive (Take a drive!)
Baby we can hit the 405
Hypnotized by the lights
Man this must be the life
(Chorus - Willow & Tyler)
Meet me at our spot
Got something I wanna show you
Meet me at our spot
They can’t find us there
x2
(Willow)
Caught a vibe
Baby are you coming for the ride?
(The ride x3)
I just wanna look into your eyes
(Your eyes x2)
I just wanna stay for the night night night
When we take a drive
Maybe we can hit the 405
Hypnotized by the lights
Man, this must be the life

  • How did they both sound so freaking flawless live like that?! Willow has found her genre, her style, her vibe, her voice, her self. I'm so here for it.

    • That flawlessness comes because the song is conceived and performed out of love and therefore is truly magical. They appear to be in love🥰

    • @@ashleyjiji88 I don't think it's that his vocals aren't as strong. It's just a different tone & energy. Willow gives a gritty angst in her vibes, but Tyler has a more chill demeanor. What you're hearing is a difference in their personality & song persona, not their vocal power.

      @superamanda@superamanda3 ай бұрын
    • @@superamanda I am a huge Willow fan but totally disagree. There are plenty of great artists right now - Jessie Reyez, Billie Eilish, Chloe & Halle, Rimon, IDER, Doja Cat, Oshun to mention a few and I wouldn't claim one is better than the other. They are all great and by the way, nobody tops Miley's covers lately, most of them are true gems.

      @sndmurderer@sndmurderer3 ай бұрын
    • @@sndmurderer I didn’t say those people couldn’t sing, but if you’re talking about those Miley Cyrus rock covers that shit is garbage. You may either have no knowledge of the original artist or no knowledge of what rock singing is if you think that’s really good. I just listened to the worst cover of comfortably numb and probably the worst cover a black dog ever put a memory. She’s cute at what she does but this is a person that did not grow up with this music and did not follow those bands that’s trying to kind of reinvent themselves is not a popstar. “Look at me. I can put on leather pants and swallow my voice”. There are a few rock vocal academies on you tube that have female singers, doing those songs properly with passion because it’s the music that they grew up listening to, that they love. Not that a PR agent or AR guy told them to cover. Miley Cyrus is a Madonna fan not a rocker. She might cover rock songs now, but that was never part of her musical education. She’s pop.

    • @@sndmurderer Willow and her mother, Jada, or actually two of the most solid female rockers to emerge in the past two decades! Because of the color of their skin, they won’t get that credit. But they rock way harder than Miley or that Katy Perry crap ever will!

  • It’s hard to place why this song feels so nostalgic. It somehow captures some 90s aesthetic I can’t put my finger on. It echoes the vibe of so many bands I grew up listening to. I love this song. It’s weird because I’m 31 and yet these kids are echoing things that people their age were singing 20-30 years ago. Beautiful.

  • She is a true alto. He is a true tenor. This is a perfect harmony. I’m no voice coach or anything, but i did spend some time in choir, and this dynamic range blending is so refreshing and light. They hit every note with such pronunciation, yet its so light and whimsical you could almost put it in your shirt pocket.
