00:00 Blood Stain Removal Introduction
From minor scrapes to unfortunate injuries to...other circumstances, we’ve all had to deal with blood finding its way onto our clothing.
00:45 How Blood Stains Fabrics
Human blood consists of several elements including hemoglobin and other coagulating agents that bond with whatever they touch when exposed to air. This is what stops blood from flowing out of an open wound but it also causes blood to stick to fibers.
03:02 How to Pretreat Fresh Blood Stains
If you are actively bleeding, treat your injury to stanch the blood flow -- both to prevent further staining and to ensure that you don’t pass out!
Next, if possible, remove the stained article. Dab away excess blood with a clean paper towel and flush the stain with cool or cold water from behind.
Once blood stops flushing from the stain, if you’re able to continue with the cleaning process, do so. If not, blot the wet area dry for now with a paper towel or clean cloth. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing.
05:00 Removing Small or Recent Stains
06:48 Medium Removal Difficulty and Older Stains
08:33 Large or Dried & Set-In Stains
Blood stains can be an annoying hassle but we hope that with the steps outlined. Getting them out shouldn’t be too bloody difficult!

For everyone wondering who this is for: Blood is a part of life for lots of rock climbers, martial artists, tradesmen, laborers, and beyond! TL;DR: anyone who regularly engages with physicality will engage with blood!
With "far beyond", do you mean idiots like me, managing to cut themselves only when wearing a white and expensive shirt?
Huh huh. Blood is cool.
Or any females with periods or anyone with kids or who uses a knife ever
I see we're on the "Patrick Bateman" episode Fun!
I wonder if he’s going to lecture us on Phil Collins 😂
😛😛
Had to have been Preston for this one.
Who is this video for, the mafia?
LOL, people’s noses bleed or they can cut their skin shaving.
Blood is a part of life for lots of rock climbers, martial artists, tradesmen, laborers… anyone who regularly engages with physicality!
That’s what I was thinking 😅
WOAH BUD! We’re just businessmen. No mafia types here. . .
The less you know, the better for you...
The next vid in the series should be how to dispose of a body and not get your wingtips dirty
😩😩😩
As a hardworking "businessman" who often has such stains, I must say that this video greatly helped.
We're getting listed by the police with this one 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The instant American Psycho reference 😂
They know exactly what they’re cooking 😂
Somehow this reminded me of the Cleaner from Pulp Fiction. Impeccably dressed before, during and after getting rid of the body and cleaned the car's upholstery.
I hate getting blood all over my clothes and my hands and my chainsaw. Thanks for the helpful video!
My nose bleeds usually, so this will help me a lot!
Same
stop watching hentai then😛
Sure it does, sure it does… 😉
I am a doctor. I was searching for this video and it helped alot. Thanks
I’m a GM for two different Vampire the Masquerade games. *Thank you* for this weirdly relevant video. Also: for really tough fabrics that can take a beating, Spot Shot carpet cleaner is the best thing out there. Detergent, vinegar, and dish soap are all good too; dish soap is my favorite for immediate removal. Keep the water cold! Hot water makes it stain worse.
As someone with a skin condition, this seriously helps me.
Before watching I want to say that it is the most important topic after "straight razor" :)
Looks like Raphael caught someone wearing flipflops.
Ha! Best comment.
Perfect timing!!!
the first video i watched on GG was a rather unimpressive Raphael talking about fountain pens video (for an fp connosieur). a few years later i came back to learn about de razor shaving, got pulled in and completely infatuated with the channel. i even started thinking i should try a classic outfit some time. i originally thought Raphael was some guy from a rich family boasting to have a collection of fountain pens at 15, and that Preston was some guy from a rich California family, but after learning about your background and seeing all the videos about how one could adopt a classic style without spending too much money i realised how wrong i was, and it turned out your passion for classic lifestyle was much more genuine. and videos like these are simply gold. they both have a quirk and perfect utility. a heartfelt thank for you for this channel.
00:03:00 Preston does his own stunts.😉
Thanks! I needed this exactly.
Thank you, Preston! Very helpful info.
Useful information. Thanks, pal.
Thank God for this video! Perfect timing. 👌 😅
Excellent tutorial
For silk or wool, I sometimes use a very soft shaving brush I inherited, as this brush is kind to the clothes but works up a nice lather that seeps into the fabric.
I will have to use this tonight
We are all getting put on some police list now.
very useful advice
wow ive never been so entertained during a video about laundry! i appreciate prestons puns
Gentleman´s Gazette always provides the best possible information. Last time you taught us about shaving with straight razor, today we learned how to remove blood stains. Next time I hope we will be shown a proper and functional attire for when a gent needs to dig a cadaver sized hole in his backyard.
Can I use the same method for removing human blood stains from trunk carpet?
The sparkling water did the job for my sofa! Thanks for the tip. Laundry detergent, not so much
A month ago I crashed riding bicycle knee first wearing a light grey pair of levis against the sidewalk, it scrapped my knee and blood stained the jeans, didn’t notice until I was going to take a shower, I immediately took a soft sponge so I would not damage the fabric, soaked with a natural dish soap mix since it's design for food and organic matter, got the jeans wet and started cleaning the inner part then the blood got to the outside and cleaned it also, rinsed and cleaned both sides again, left it to dry and the large blood stain was removed completely.
Somehow this reminded me of the Cleaner from Pulp Fiction. Impeccably dressed before, during and after getting rid of the body and cleaned the car's upholstery.
Much appreciated
Need a video on how to fight like a gentleman.
Well, the subject matter of this video definitely fits with Preston's new John Wick beard! 🤔😎
The fact that I got my period today makes this rather funny
I had a nosebleef cus i laughed too hard with my friends. I had a white shirt on, this really helped me out! 🙏🙏
Props to Preston for preforming a blood ritual (For educational purposes)
Well considering I might've had an "accident" with my date, this video will be extremely useful! (Nothing happened, there isn't a dead body in my basement hahahha)
Almost passed out w/ all that Blood 😳reminds me of my Marine Corps days 🥰 Just Jivin' 😬
This is good. I swear growing up they would say a certain detergent gets blood & grass stains out! 😂
Please do a video on how to remove sunscreen stains!
I don't know why it caught me off guard, but "first, stop bleeding" just made me laught way too much.
My grandma always said that your own spit will take out your own blood.
Will this work for removing a lot of blood? Like a whole lot?
The beard looks good Preston 👍🏼
This Episode was made personally for Patrick Bateman.
And the Pulp Fiction hitmen.
@@MrReubenTishkoff exactly
@@mr.atomic2970The Cleaner from Pulp Fiction is the true MVP. Managed to be impeccably dressed before, during and after getting rid of the body and cleaned the car's upholstery.
@@MrReubenTishkoff It gives me Bateman vibes with the Rainsuit.
Cuaba Soap is the the best for fresh blood stains... Aplying inmediatly on the stain before it dries. 🇩🇴
Good timing. I bled on my shirt a little after my allergy shot a few days ago. I just happened to be on the area and wasn't dressed for the occasion.
I feel like im on a list after watching this video...
For most poeple the advice to stop the blood flow bevore cleaning up the stains in your wardrope seems to be common sense. But every safety advice always has a reason. Am I the only one thinking of Raphael right now? :D
Blood and bruises is just your face developing a nice patina.
These are the signs of a life well lived
FINALLY
Running cold water works perfectly well with blood/**unk stains or, if combined, “blunk” stains 😉
ayooo this channel went from 0 to 100 real quick
I have heard that your own spit can get your own blood stain out of fabrics. I do think it has to be fresh blood stains though and it has to be the same person's blood and spit something about your own chemistry.
I cut myself shaving this morning and got a tiny drop of blood on my collar, this video is here just in time...
Salt and water works well
Can we get an American Psycho style analysis? Thanks for the content gentlemen!
Bro is just huggbees with glasses
How can warm water 'cook' blood proteins given that the human body is at least 99 degrees?
Perfect, I just stabbed myself with a 1/4" flat bladed screwdriver and got blood on my dead and company oracle park t shirt. Thanks for the tips!
Quite a useful and not a sus title at all. 😂
The beard looks great
Women bleed every month, a quick spray with soda crystals/sodium carbonate and let sit for a few minutes before putting in the wash works every time.
I’d like to make a dinner reservation for 12.
I'm not usually a fan of facial hair, the beard works for you.
“Let’s see Paul Allen’s Gazette…”
You ok, guys? Just checking…
Thank you very much, you saved me from prison. (maybe it was all in my mind)
Ummm....this is a 'Gentleman's problem' because....? Asking for a friend. Seriously, though...well done. Especially the indexing.
This after watching clips from "Hannibal".
Votre salive dissout votre sang ! :)
I love that men forget that 50% of the population has to deal with this every month. 💀
Is it just me or anyone else also feels that the guy puts a lot of effort in opening his jaw to speak
I’m kinda scared now.
Not a sus title at all….😂
Is a pinki blanders episode haha
Very easy to get blood of your clothes. Cold water and salt, simple as that
Baking blood? 🫣
A few notes: (I hope I'm not being too clever, but it bothers me to hear things like that wrong. 0:49 It´s not elements, its compound, substances or chemicals. Those are made up of elements. 1:11 Pure Carbon doesn´t form molecules other than diamond, graphite and carbon-nanotubes.
He probably meant “carbon-containing molecules”, otherwise known as organic molecules.
*checks calendar* nooope not halloween. Well, then.
Not suspicious at all…
inb4 "The RIGHT Ways To Hide A Body"
Do you say, “I’m going to call you Sabrina” to your visitors? 😉
sus
They’ll be deleting this video in 24hrs 😂
Please stop these childish trigger warnings.
2:59 I appreciate that But, couldn’t you buy blood from the butcher, The Brits use them in black pudding
Why is this even in my feed !?
