I fail to see how stopping people from gathering to combat a public health crisis is an infringement. I also fail to see why wasting time in a church is essential, but that's another discussion. SMALL businesses have gone out of business, not the big corps that are crushing competition and moving in. COVID isn't that big a deal! They are overcounting deaths because hospitals have financial incentives to do so. This virus is dangerous for HALF A PERCENT of people, mostly people who are old and have comorbidities. Put them under lockdown (which they failed to do like in New York, thanks to Cuomo), not EVERYONE. It's even lower for people under 50 (something like 0.2%). If you want to lockdown the world because there is a very small risk some people will die, why not lockdown for cold or the flu? Between 5%-20% of Americans get the flu it every year and tens of thousands die every year because of it, generally people who are older or have comorbidities. Do you not care about people with the flu, your heartless fool?

It still wouldn’t tell viral load. I think the biggest misconception (and Jordan is living proof) is that people believe an answer today will be the answer tomorrow. Both Jordan and Fauci make good points. However, Im concerned when Fauci claims he doesnt see any a threat to liberty in his recommendations and with government intervention. Thats a serious problem. The fact that Fauci doesnt have have very hard numbers for a return to freedom is unacceptable in a free society.
This pandemic is an invasion. Why can't people treat it as such? Refusing to wear masks and refusing to be inoculated doesn't help. It's not simply going to go away by itself, we have to stop it.

Many of us believe we should all be wearing masks, but as a true liberal I don't believe the threshold for force by the gov is met yet.

Can you answer a serious question for me? I promise, it's genuine, no snark. We have been dealing with Covid for over a year now and it's clear Nursing Homes are very vulnerable. Why haven't towns, cities, etc gotten together and declared one facility Covid only? Or at the very least why haven't these facilities declared a Covid only wing or floor. Same with the staff. They would also stay in their respective home/ wing to help with the spread.
