#Toyota #NewToyota #2023ToyotaCrown
This looks cool but the old one looked luxurious and had a upper class felling.
Toyota has the Lexus brand for luxury.
@@zarbon700 brugh... Then why did they made the earlier model look more luxurious? To me it was one of Toyota's flagship car. And the look told that. Now it's just like a Corolla.
@@raihanali715 totally Agreed 💔
@@raihanali715 Crown was a very popular luxury car in a few countries, so Toyota continued to make it for those countries for many years. Recently, Toyota realized both the Crown and the Avalon were competing too heavily with its Lexus brand. So, they decided to remove the two Toyota luxury-like models. They still wanted to continue using the popular Crown name, so they decided to reinvent it into something that's more targeted to Toyota's market segment. It's a smart business move.
@@zarbon700 Why won't They just rebadged it as a Lexus. It completely lost its meaning. People bought it for it's luxuriousness and now it's just a plain looking car wearing a cardboard crown. People who bought crowns knew what and why they were buying it. They took it as a prestige.
A friend of mine owned a 1969 Toyota Crown. It was one of the first production cars to feature a refrigerator in the driver's console to keep drinks cold. It had a space age design back then LOL!
I thought it was the 6th-Gen Crown that was the first model ever to have a refrigerator? It seems that Toyota was way ahead of the other automakers than thought if that's the case.
@@mr.oshawottryana.m.1785 This model was sold in Australia. By the time I rode in it, the fridge unit had long died.
Toyota can’t afford non-ugly guy actors for their car ads. So sad
@@mr.oshawottryana.m.1785 80
@@mr.oshawottryana.m.1785 It also had a navigation screen- in the 80s.
Please release the sedan version of the crown line-up too! I saw the reveal show, and I felt like the sedan version was the only one which kept the true essence of the Japanese Crown design language. It was breathtaking, and really stood out compared to all the other industrial fit for the crossover/suv demand.
Toyota is the only car brand that shows their car and not people in adverts.
I still daily drive my 1993 toyota crown limited edition. It has automatic climate control, refrigerator, automatic seats, digital cluster and a legendary 2JZ engine. Still runs like a beauty, soaks the bumps on road like no other and still has a punch for a car it’s age. I love it. I have never loved a car so much.
Well the 2jz ge 😅
@@thinwig9953 yes, 2jz ge. Super reliable and smooth power plant
oof i hope you take good car of that 2jz a rare engine to see nowadays unless you got a is 250 back then, is it the one with the turbo or just the NA version
They kinda car that last forever....
@@ziggyz8345 I have no mods on that engine. It’s totally stock, unstressed motor. It’s the NA motor that originally came with it. It’s an old car but, I have never felt like I am missing anything. It’s got everything that I need in a car. I am 29 years old and my car is almost the same age as me. It’s a testament to reliability. I am young and I like cars from 90s.
The old ones looked very very classy. Crown Athlete to be precise is a monumental machine.
the old one looks like a mercedes rip off
couldn't agree more
And this ladies and gentlemen is a pure example of an ad with amazing music and sfx. I re-watched the ad few times just for the music. I want to know what is the music called and if they put it on KZhead Music (I don't use Spotify)
И все же те самые crown из 90-х ,самые лучшие!
honestly Toyota, Hyundai and Kia have been killing it so far with the creativity and innovation from rest of the traditional mainstream car companies.
Thank you, I work for Hyundai and I do research thing
@박경민 Keep up the good work 👍 I'm buying a 2022 Elantra pretty soon.
Kia and Hyundai have been killing it with the fire hazard recalls
How is Toyota not mainstream
@@HeortirtheWoodwarden read again
I've had or driven every crown since 1997 but this redesign has me scratching my head. Don't get me wrong, it's stunning and beautiful but the crown is meant to be an S class rival that is simple, elegant, and functional. This is futuristic and functional but i doubt it will be simple. It will have a learning curve but this change is welcome. A great era seems to be coming to an end.
100% agree
The Crown in the vid is a crossover ( Not sure if it's a "CROSSOVER") version so calm down, but I hope Toyota will make a sedan version very soon :).
💯
Toyota century was the answer to the S class, not crown
It must be a pleasure to drive them as I have driven 1998 and 2004 model. I love the simplicity and the drive of the older 1998 crown personally.
The closeups of the parts looked better than the car itself.
I like how it looks on the inside but outside I prefer the older model
Looks cool and seems very functional. I may own one of these in the future
What's your current car rn?

Toyota finally picking up their interior game 👏🏽
The All New Toyota Crown Looks Nice👍👌👏🚗💨!!!
We love hearing this! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Toyota Crown! 👑
How loud do you want the SFX? Editor : YES
i swear that bass at the beginning just shidded in my ear
The return of the Crown to the market in the world is a good thing Not everyone will accept this change and it will take Crown time to get accepted
freaking beautiful
Mustang design + Porsche design= Toyota 👑
All I could afford is the music...to listen 😄
Nothing beats the old one! It even came with a v8! And a 3.5 v6 !! And it looked grand af! Well the golden age of cars are at an end certainly !

Bring over that highly practical Estate. It is time to show Subaru how to build a better Outback. 😁
Nope, I think the Outback should come back as a sedan again too.
@@brianlee9233 the outback as a sedan is a…. legacy :)
@@PotatosGoneWildVG Yes, but have you seen an Outback SUS? The Outback as we have it now is an off-road version of the Legacy wagon, and it made sense for Subaru to make the Outback as a sedan version too.
@@Unknown-ny4ru that’s beautiful!! i just can’t see subaru doing anything that cool anymore. after the introduction of the 2008 impreza styling, i stepped back from future Subaru designs 😬
@@PotatosGoneWildVG Right with you there. I would definitely love Subaru regaining some of that coolness, even as a halo car, for the pleasant uniqueness they are known for.

Toyota, are and remain the number 1 fan. This model is of a special beauty. From the images I notice that it offers good comfort inside, intuitive controls and a special quality. Toyota was and remains, number 1! And, I am safe that, it's just the beginning for the realization of other models! From Romania to Europe, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
The So-Called 4th Generation Toyota Avalon.
Looks like if a camry and a Mirai had a baby
More than 40 years, we got to lay hand on the crown for the first time in the USA...
The old model looked luxurious and cool…..excuse me for this one
Agree
I am a Japanese living in Japan, but the design of the new Crown is unpopular and few people want to buy it.

The interior looks great, the gear area looks like the one from the Porsche 911. I absolutely love some angles of the exterior but sometimes it feels weird
That silver/gray color is sexy! Smart and sleek looking, yet not loud nor overbearing. I'm interested in this Crown.
This is what we called futuristic design ❤️...

this is the most pathetic design philosophy and it seems that all car manufacturers are resorting to disgusting crossover types
The last and current Toyota Avalon had more prestige and road presence than this Crown. Maybe I have to see one in person but at the moment I'm only getting a Corolla vibe from this.
This isn’t what a crown should look like
I thought the same LOL
@ToyotaUSA Can anyone tell me who produced the music bed for this video?
Chief designer: Homer Simpson
Its Gorgeous I love it nice design but turning signal light not match with design.
old honda hrv style

That lexus interior though 👌
What a design kludge~!. A Honda Accord brow and Avalon grill, a tacked on 'accent' piece of plastic on the side, a panoramic roof with no shade, manual steering wheel adjustment, plastic wheel well trim. And a powertrain with an identity crisis. Glad I have the 2021 Avalon Limited(Blueprint/Black) V6.

Looks nice! Toyota caught me off guard with this model. I keep up on newly released and upcoming cars through some KZheadrs and this is one I did not expect but I’m glad Toyota is not giving up on the full-size sedan. Old school was gold
This car has as much resemblance to the old Crown as the Mach E does to the Mustang name.
Looks like Toyota is bringing back older cars and still makes them look good. Makes this manufacture better than many others.
Toyota crown should have the og emblem
This music sounds like it would fit in very well with the game Hotline Miami
Awesome Toyota! Looks like you did it again! This car looks amazing. It has everything a family needs such as style, luxury and practicality and it is efficient and a great performer. Best of all it does not look like everything else and being and Toyota I know it is built to last. There is a reason why Toyota is at the top. Again, well done!
Practicality? It has a tiny trunk. Huge blunder by Toyota to not make it a hatch.
it looks so good and the design is amazing.
We appreciate the compliments! 😍
Front looks like Tata altroz... 👌👌
we need this in Australia
I'm sorry, Toyota, you ruined the looks of the Avalon and then discontinued it, only to bring it back as if it had a one-night stand with the hunchback of Notre Dame. The Venza is beautiful, yet this is definitely not. The Toyota Crown, as you know, is a proper full sized sedan and this is definitely not worthy of the Crown name. No two wheel drive option and an app that serves for a key... I do not doubt for one second, that this vehicle will be built quite well, and be very reliable, as most Toyotas have been throughout history. Unfortunately, it's just not a Crown, and now I have to buy a used Camry.
if you want those feature buy lexus ES . Lexus Es is basically toyota crown for North America .
@@stevet5790 I've always been fond of the ES and that's probably where my money is headed. Same company, different model. ✌️😎

Exactly! This is a good car but it is NOT a crown. Crown is much more rolls royce type luxury sedan.
Glad the Crown is coming back stateside, disappointed it's not the actual sedan which looks much nicer than this...
To be honest Toyota prouduce the best cars in the world

Make reservations now at your local Toyota dealership cause they will be sold out very fast.
Japanese are selling us the transvestite, mentally unhinged equivalent member of the Crown generation. 🤢 Think of how the Crowns look in the previous iterations and now this
Not from behind tho Especially the fact it looks like lifted from behind
We're so glad you like it, Cody! 🙌
Looks life honda accord facelift
This one looks really cool kinda sad they are discontinuing the Avalon though.
What about that GR Corolla😩 dream car right there🫣
I love the last Gen Crown. It's got majestic appearance. This one looks like 10th gen Civic with facelift
If this is Toyota something, i would say, it look pretty damn awesome. But Crown? The noble second only to century, Crown? Its not what i expect from it. But crown have deviate since last gen, so this is just continuation
it is great. it look amazing.
Beautiful car
I was so excited to hear the Crown is coming to North America but when I see the shape I was about to cry. I was looking for for a Lincoln Town Car type of vibe, and mostly importantly with RWD or RWD based AWD. I was really hoping it could go against E-Class or 5-Series or A6, with a formal, stately feel. This is a huge disappointment. Please bring the Toyota Century then to NA.
This is one of a few body styles, however who knows if the sedan sport or estate will come here.
What do you mean this looks good
