  • My husband and I were 22 years old when he died, of Leukemia. I was with him every day of his journey to heaven. I promised him I would never marry again. It's been 30 years, our twin sons just turned 30, and I look forward to the day I can hold his hand again as I did all his dying days.   • Yesterday I had the opportunity to take my wife to see Engelbert sing live one more time to celebrate our 42nd. anniversary. This great singer, despite having physical problems, has not lost anything of his great voice. Best of all, my wife was thrilled to see her favorite singer so close to her. Time shouldn't go through this kind of stars that make us happy, and at the same time make us dream awake. Let's keep listening to Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck so that he will never be forgotten by the new generations.

    • This song was written in 1968 in Spanish by a cool cat named Sandro. Engelbert did a wonderful job at singing and interpreting the song to the English-speaking world, to which we are eternally grateful. I get to enjoy both versions - double happiness.
