2x2 being a challenge makes sense, especially going from the perspective of a larger size. I was lucky enough to get advice on it
I have one
i accidentally solved mine, with no prior experience 😳
ngl i just tried using 3x3 algorithms to solve a 2x2 and it worked

I Honestly Think The 1x1 Is The Hardest
nah. just cut the 1x1 and make 4 small pieces just like the 2x2, after you’ve done it add the things just like what are inside rubik cubes how they are attached after that, there now it’s not hard anymore
@@LuffyPistolWhat the hell is this comment?!?
@@bensoncheung2801 a joke
The 2x2 stumped me at first, so I learned it with a tutorial. But then I forgot how to do it because I barely practiced, until I realized it's just a 3x3 with only the corners, and I could use the same corner switching algorithm I'd known for ages. You do need new algorithms if you want to speed solve it, but otherwise it's just a 3x3 with fewer steps.
What you said lol. I'd been cubing 3x3 for a bit already when I got my first 2x2 and I'd already watched a vid on a 2x2 before so like 5 minutes after taking it out of the box I got a 12 second solve...which sounds super slow but I was ever so slightly proud of myself haha
I did this, I also realized that with only one extra algorithm that I made up as I went, I could solve a megaminx as well so that was pretty cool
Cool souptimmy love your vids

Its not a Fabio touch 4x4 its Camman/CANman
19x19 s hardest
Love your work Timmy! ❤
thank you!
@@SoupTimmy very impressive and entertaining to watch :)
awesome work you almost never give up if you put the 21x21 and the zetaminx aside
0:57 camman 👍
We love Camman’s
@@SoupTimmy yes
Canman
2x2 and pyraminx are actually good pieces to start. Anyone who started with 3x3 without help ended up giving up solving it and never picking it up.
learning 3x3 first is easier bc then you know how to solve a 2x2. its just corner piece moves
You work so hard Keep it up!!!
fabio touch / 4x4 checkerboard cube is pretty easy if you use a different method. all you have to do is make all centers and edges one color so you have a 3x3, then if you group the colors again so top black, bottom white, and middle divided in two, there's a fairly intuitive algorithm which basically results in a 2x2 with one color on each half. from there the solve is trivial
Yeah. I have a meffert's checker cube and used the "separate layers" methods to solve it
Grea work Timmy and thanks for getting me into cubing.Recently i bought the gear cube XXL version and it's pretty fun to solve!
Thrilled to hear! 🎉🎉
@@SoupTimmy I am Lolzart
@lexi_and-tristannice!
The ghost cube was mine. I knew it was a 3x3 shape mod, but I ran into a major issue I'd never seen before. That being the fact that my top center had to be oriented a certain way. It frustrated me so much. I eventually figured it out, and haven't touched it since.
I love how u call the fabio touch 4x4 camman which is really accurate
Meanwhile, I’m still trying to solve a 2 x 2
But if you know how to solve a 3x3, it's easy to solve a 2x2
@@noway2525 You think that's funny.
@@distinctloafer huh?
@@distinctloafer he is right. a 2x2 is a 3x3 without edge pieces
Your description of my 2×2 experience was precise. I don't know how to solve a 3×3, so I thought a 2×2 would be more accessible. It is a lot simpler than the 3×3, but you still need to learn techniques. I use the simple method, rather than learning all the algorythms, so haven't solved it in less than about 15 seconds.
I learned 3x3 first which makes solving a 2x2 a breeze. a 2x2 is solved the same way as a 3x3 except without the 2nd layer and edge pieces. just corners
Souptimmy, now IN A SOUP CAN!
I remember imagining a center for the 2x2 and it became easy after that (solving it like a regular 3x3)
i actually did the 2x2 pretty quickly, just by solving it like I would a 3x3 but just corners. Now my best time on it is about 3 seconds, and I average 8 seconds! very fun
I actually have some puzzles that I wish I could do they're the 4x4, 3x3, skewb, 2x2, 3x3 octagonal barrel cube, the megamix, and a lot more cause I'm new to this puzzle thing and is now collecting puzzles like these.
Bro bravery 📈📈📈
For me, it's the pyramorphix. I thought it was just a easier version of the pyraminx and got absolutely destroyed when it started shapeshifting. I solved it once I don't dare to mess with it again
anything that has morph in it probably morphs/shapeshifts
I mean we always have 1 puzzle we want to solve, for me its the 3x3x4
great job timmy i love your videos and your art i taught myself how to solve the rubix cube it took me two years to learn how to solve the rubix cube keep it up
Hi Timmy I luv ur vids
the funny thing is I never used a tutorial for the 2x2 cube XD like literally I solved it by myself it took like a week no tutorial
2x2 was very challenging for me but it looked easy it's super easy to solve 1 side on a 2x2 and once when I tried to solve the green side I accidentally solved the full 2x2 cube in 9 seconds!😅
1:23 dude brought up my expirence in 2021 💀
I really want to get into cube art and was woundering what file you used in the ZHC video to help.
Ur vids are always entertaining!
Souptimmy I'm a big fan . I love your videos And can you ask a cuber to solve the 1x3x3 pls?
The funny thing is that I figured out how to solve the 2x2 on first try without a tutourial
Fun fact: 1x1s was already a 1x1 force cube
😅
O I have one too it's a cheap chain one it only got three colors yellow blue white green and that's all and on the bottom it has orange and red
for me the 2x2 was super easy, the same as a 3x3, only with less things to do, but when I let my friends try to solve it they couldn't, even knowing how to solve the 3x3 and even the 5x5
for 2x2 i just did 3x3 beginner method but skipped some steps
Mine is the FanXin Orange 3x3 Shape Mod... The fact that it is nearly a perfect sphere that is only differentiated by textures makes it so difficult to solve. I can solve all the other fruits, but the Orange Mod is just sitting on my shelf forever unsolved and it hurts...
I actually learn 3x3 from a tutorial video. When i got a 2x2 cube, i just use the same techniques from 3x3
I want to try and solve the normal 3x3 one day.
Thank you for teaching me more about puzzles
Well, for me I never had difficulty on solving 2x2 since 10 cuz I started solving 3x3 first then I went advancing and solving 4x4 already then 2x2 and it was no sweat and I didn't even use at least one algorithm on tutorials (a tip use the beginner's method in 3x3 to solve 2x2)
I think the 5x5 pyramix was hard because it wasn’t the same cubes as the 4x4 pyramix
1:11 I'm having the same problem with 3x3. :)
actually5 took me a whole shopping trip to solve a 2x2 once and even many more times
1:18 the commercial "Picking it up because it looks super easy" 🤣🤣🤣
I ❤ your vids they teach me how to solve a rubix cube
i solved the 2x2 by myself but it’s because of my knowledge of the 3x3, i just pretended that a 2x2 was like the corners of a 3x3, so instead of doing oll or pll, I did something that started with R U L U’ I forgor
hello! Your talent is amazing. I can’t even solve a normal cube!
this is the first souptimmy vid i watched :)
Wow you are so good at cubes keep it up
I learned the 3x3 first so I just used some of those algorithms for the 2x2
Same 2x2 is basically 3x3 without its middle pieces
@@Cyber_N-7660 and edge pieces
Destroys the easy cubes😂
hey Timmy i love ur cube art i was wondering where u get the cubes from and how u aford to get all those cubes and i was also wondering witch cubes u buy soory about my other comment it was a joke xd
Wait, what? The 2x2 had 1 thing that confused me, but I figured it out pretty quickly.
Love watching your vids while enjoying a snack🙂
I’m trying to do the Kilominx next, i collect cubes and i have like 10 already. I cant solve my pyramorphix and 4x4 though 😅
I will try the MoYu corner twist Pyraminx...
I learnt to solve the 3x3 before the 2x2 so all I did was do the same thing but skip a few steps and I thought myself in just a few minutes
Dude just called Camman18 "' -o- kayman" 💀💀
i learned how to solve pyraminx sub 20 by just solving 1st layer repeatedly kinda works with 2x2 as well
i taught myself how to solve the 2x2 with my own method and NO tutorials TIMMY!
Im Also Learn How To Solve 2×2. I Just Need To Know The Trick And The Rest Is Future Me Problem.

“Help I’m upside down “ *Cammans last famous words💀*
I had solved a 2x2 once back in 4th grade before I got into cubing during 8th grade. And then I went from knowing how to do a 3x3 to solving a 2x2.
0:57 omg is that canman (My fav yt)
When he showed the tutorial for the 2x2 I realized that that’s the exact tutorial that I used😂😂
the first rubix cube when it is solved, it king of looks like the palau flag
The simpler the looks, the harder to solve
except a 1x1 or a 2x2
Fun fact I actually didn’t learn 2x2 from a tutorial. I learned myself
What a legend!
The Zetaminx will most likely take over an hour to solve so I recommend streaming your full solve so you can get “help” from the chat and when you need a break you can try taking to the live chat
1:34 that's how my ex broke it 💔
Camman? That cube is cool
Me can’t even solve a 1x1 😂😂💀🔫
I never actually have a problem switching from 3x3 to 2x2 i tried using my 3x3 algorithm with a little bit of change and it work
Most challenging puzzle for me is the Maltese Cross by Oskar
Never give up timmy
It’s crazy how many cubes your actually able to solve. Also happy birthday 0:10
not my birthday lol but i will take it, what's my present? :)
I got you a duck 🦆. His name is Denis
@@randompieceofbread I just ate Denis 😋
Denis, 2022-2023 May he rest in piece 😔
I got a chicken name cook
I want to solve the 5x5 pyraminx and megaminx and 3x3, ofc thats where i started
I learned the 2 by 2 by myself by looking at it:)
1:13 i literally was trying to scramble a 2x2 and ended up solving it by accident it’s so easy
For a 2x2 I actually never used a tutorial. I knew if was just the corners of the 3x3 so it was super easy
same here
I learnt the 3x3 before the 2x2 and used the way i solved a 3x3 on a 2x2. So I kind of found it easy
I modified my windmill cube, now it’s what I call the windmill mixup, it’s like the ghost cube, you can’t do turns until OFFSETTING the cube.
i also thought it is hard for the 2x2 but with my 3x3 skills i did it lol
I tried to solve a 2x2 by intuition and I could relate. After that didn’t work I looked at a guide that made solving a 2x2 about as long as solving a 3x3. It took me way, way to long to realise they were just describing the algorithms I already used to solve a 3x3.
I remember trying to solve a 2x2 and failed miserably, even when checking a tutorial. So currently i'm learning to solve a gear cube
I thought 2x2 was easy but it is not in was about to buy it,thanks for saving my money
'When u fix one peice in the right place, but another peice goes wrong& Story of every rubix cube in existance
I actually learnt to solve 2x2 without any tutorial or any help I was just trying and then I understood the cube and then every time I did was coming correct
0:56 CEY-MAN?!?!?! Camman18 is going to be so mad
0:56 R.I.P CAMMAN18
Another awesome video 😸
I’m surprised 2x2 was on here. I learned corners first for orientation and permutation when I first started solving so I didn’t have any trouble with it at all.
Yes same. Everyone can solve the 2x2 by using beginner method of the 3x3 so I really don't understand the challenge
I love the canman cube
Love your viedos btw
I second that
Nobody talking about the camman at the start
"when one piece is in the wrong spot you end up fixing it, but then another piece goes wrong" yep, thats pretty much rubiks cubes in general
I love how you called the fabio touch 4x4 "camman"
Once I went to a friends house and they had a 2x2 and I was easily able to solve it by using the 3x3 method
I Like the Dart cube, because it Looks like a rubik's fidget spinner
0:57 camman I was about to say CANMAN
