The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department announced Monday night that a fourth law enforcement officer, Joshua Eyer, has died after a shootout in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday. Police were serving a warrant at a home on Galway Drive for a felon wanted for possessing a firearm. Several other officers were injured.
The three officers initially killed were serving together on a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Four CMPD officers were also shot.

Something is not right about this story. The guy you are looking for is the first one killed and he was killed outside the home. Then you have a shoot-out with a 17-year-old and a woman. No warrants or injuries were mentioned on the women or the teenager who managed to take out four police officers in two hours with one gun. There is a story behind this story, but this is not the whole story, and we may never know the full story.

39 yr old Terry Clark Hughes, Jr ( now deceased from his injuries) had 49 prior criminal charges since 2001 and served time in prison in Mecklenburg County. All kinds of recent charges that were dropped just in the last month, but is a felon from prior. Manufacturing drugs and drug possession charges etc.

@fubodubo2178 That was indefenisible what the officer did. The guy was scared. He tried complying with the many, many contradictory orders. But because he picked up his pants, he was justified? Why didn't the department release the video AFTER that particular cop was found not guilty. It's incidents like that that goes unpunished are why I don't feel bad when LEO suffer the same things from criminals that they put innocent people through. The only difference between the cops and criminals is cops can get away with murder.
