Hello late in the game. I have an A6 B/Edition full tech pack, stage 1 mapped - needed it. It's a gem, no issues at all, but now getting to a "greedy stage" after 4 years. Looked at E Class, BMW 6 Grand Coupe, they just don't have that A7 appeal. Thanks for the start up a drive and drive sound on the BiTDI it's helped my decision. Now to find one that has the same spec as the one you have demonstarated, hopefully not over priced.
A7 power stability of quattro it's crazy special on high speed and bad weather conditions including snow ❄
Watching this makes me miss my A7. Someone wrote me off in it. Was absolutely guttered as loved that car 😭

Lovely car. Unfortunately the speakers in the exhausts fail after a good few years. Common problem. But the relentless power never fails, even at 140k miles. It pulls like a train and will do 45mpg on the motorway all day long. Very strong engine
Any fixes for the exhaust? I know that people were replacing the speakers with aftermarket speakers, but these were also suffering the same death just considerably quicker.

I have a 2017 A7 BiTDI and can tell that the exhaust sound (although very nice) is not as loud as in the video. This one may have a Kufatec Sound Booster installed.

@@navistormrage5057 very good, although, it might be a bit thirsty if you're not careful with the throttle, but nothing outrageous 😁 It had a leaking shock absorber (which I couldn't confirm, I just believed the Audi technician) but it was under extended warranty. It has air suspension, hence I bought the extended warranty, just in case.

thats a tough choice but even though i dont really like bmw, i think i would go for the 640

@@YuriPeriotto u don't need it remapped but 640d gran coupe is very stable.
I have the 640d m sport on 17 reg, with HUD, HK, Adaptive lights, 20's , and it is a brilliant car. I had same dillema as you A7 bi tdi or 640d ?!? There is just something about the Black Edition especially in grey and those 21 inch wheels that does it for me. Maybe if I bought the A7 I would now want the 640d 😊 Can I just have both 😊

Avoid CRT engine code ....! Audi has limited an oil valve flow and engine on idle has too low oil flow! Also change oil every 40000miles in your Tiptronic!

I drive one of these , a 2014 3.0 v6, the cab is almost silent if the windows are closed, you can hear the timing chain and turbo spooling up as you accelerate, but roll the window down and that 3.0 v6 roar is very very real =) lovley cars to drive tbh ,
