  • Gee had amazing scientific knowledge, but the lovely Rev had an exceptional grasp of general knowledge over the three rounds. So glad Leeds won - very satisfying to beat Oxbridge.

  • Really enjoyed this series! A welcome distraction from the Antipodean apocalypse we are living through presently. Congrats to Leeds and to Gee in particular as MVP. 🏆Thank you 🐨🌷

    • I don't think the woman in the previous round had ever seen a Caravaggio as his work looks nothing like the ones she was presented with.

    • @@heliotropezzz333 There's a similar "default response" with Verdi and opera, although that even transcends nations! Indeed, there was an instance this series where a clip of Beethoven's _Fidelio_ was played and they named the composer as Verdi, even though the language being sung was very clearly German.

  • A thousand thank-you's. The Leeds team is so good, I do believe they could compete against the students. Henry Gee is a beast (a positive statement, of course). Thx again, for the uploads.

  • Hopefully we [Leeds] can get onto the student's televised rounds one year. A rather poor record for us as a Russell Group University in that competition. I'll pretend I chose to study there knowing we'd win this one. Well done men! And thanks for the upload, DoP.

    • You do of course realise the oploader gets paid money for all of those 26K views (at this moment) without having to pay a penny for the trouble? This show was on public TV, put online by the BBC, and used by the uploader to make money for him/herself. Not exactly the most charitable act. KZhead needs to do something about that anomaly.
