  • The FAA needs a new Trevor Jacobs regulation. Parachuting out of the pilot seat of an aircraft is an automatic lifetime PPL ban. You take off in that aircraft, you bring it down somewhere, under pilot control, even if it's on fire. That's the deal. Real pilots think about other people, Trevor did not, and continues to grin about his own ignorance (he didn't know he comitted 5 felonies). That's worse than knowing, if true, but it's not true, Trevor is a massive serial liar. He confesses in this interview to massive culpable ignorance, because he thinks its a better look than narcissist playboy. It was your responsibility to KNOW the law, and to know how to safely operate that aircraft, Trevor. If Trevor had shared his plans with any other licensed pilots, what do you think that pilot would say to him, or to the FAA? He didn't know. My ass he didn't know. He knew, and the fact that he kept what he was planning to do a secret proves he knew it was neither legally, or morally acceptable. Who did he brief? His lawyer. He tried to get away with this, knowing it was completely illegal, and using legal counsel to figure out how to dodge the NTSB.

  • Part of this took place out of my local airport. This is ridiculous. Im incredibly suprised that this didnt result in a wildfire. Im also suprised he didnt consult an attorney prior to the stunt and he should file a lawsuit against whoever provided the 'legal' 'advice' which reccomended that he remove and destroy the wreckage, because that was probability "legal malpractice" if that person is an attorney.

Second, I'm fairly convinced that he didn't "fully regret it as soon as he jumped out of the plane" because if that was the case, one, in order for someone to have regret over their own actions, they need to have a few points of intelligence, and two, if you just had a few points of intelligence, you wouldn't upload this for the world to see.
