  • Jonathan explained what is "the nothing" he is referring throughout the album. From what he told in an interview, the nothing is something that keeps following him and is responsible for everything wrong in his life. He refers to that entity as the nothing.

    • Cat named Scamper actually, I liked Take a Look in The Mirror for the most part as well. After that, KoRn really fell off the wagon and never felt to evolve much, especially lyrically. However, with that being said, I do dig what I’ve heard musically more than lyrically and at times vocally thus far. KoRn seems the need to put pop sensibility into their choruses. I don’t care for that. “Can You Hear Me” is probably my favorite thus far.

    • Korn are a much more musically talented band. Slipknot are generic nowadays, they were best on Iowa, after that they sold out.

  • Korn and Deftones are genius nu metal bands because they make the most simple yet badass, groovy riffs. Combine that with the gorgeous vocals of John and Chino, immaculate music. I sometimes listen to this and am surprised this exists. Badass.

    • @@SovereignKing True! Untouchables had gazillion of tracks and this is more lighter in production but it sounds so huge. Nick made them track guitars together with Head at the same time. So I think that adds to the groove quite a lot on this album and Serenity of suffering too which he produced.

    • slipknot for me. the only album i ever loved from korn was the first one. it was just too good. after that only some songs from there next albums. but the band is great no question about that.
