Many find the Bible's story about the Conquest of Canaan a bit disturbing. But what if there's a missing piece that helps make sense out of this story that begins in Exodus? If you read it closely, you'll discover that some of the kings the Israelites were fighting against were... GIANTS?? What first seems like just a couple strange verses about giants and Nephilim ultimately adds up to somewhere between fifty and a hundred verses in the Old Testament about the giants encountered during the Conquest of Canaan. Suddenly what seemed like a couple odd verses becomes a central storyline! We're getting close to discovering what this strange part of the Old Testament has to do with Jesus too, so stay tuned for more!

  • There were giants in America too at the time. The red haired giants of Lovelock cave for example.

      @universallink791@universallink79122 күн бұрын
    • @@universallink791 it’s a pretty new science as far as i know, but it’s literally just comparing and contrasting all the religious texts we know of, this information i was referring to is from the Bible and some of the apocryphal texts, there are similarities in other stories, the prodigal son is a reoccurring theme throughout history, like the brothers’ story, Cain and Abel, enki and enlil, even Romulus and Remus, one brother at odds with the other, the younger usually killing the elder, and bringing “light” to the rest of mankind, you just have to do the research, everything is connected somehow

  • Am Not a Bible scholar for certain. But here's my take on the post flood appearance of the Nephilim. I've angst over this too, but here goes. If you consider Ham's wife may have carried remnant or even intact Nephilim DNA. Grandson Canaan came from Ham and his wife, and may well have migrated along with his descendants from the Ararat region around the Turkey/Black Sea area in a southwestwardly direction and actually settled in Palestine (Canaan). Chuck Missler has pointed out regions of Palestine (including the Gaza Strip Area, West Bank, and Golan Heights as being historically populated areas of the "ites" (Jebuzzites, Amelekites, etc.)

  • How is it that the Creators are extremely talented in creating the universe but too weak in getting rid of the Nephilim/angles ""Before"" creating humans? Shouldn't God have clean up the wickedness before starting over again? If the God(s) were that weak then what's will convinced human race to trust the Gods in the future? Makes me ponder if we are into a forever war.

    • That is a good question. My theory is it has something to do with God's commitment to free will. I kinda think God could totally wipe them out or prevent the crisis but doesn't because He still wants to give room for them to make their own choice, even if it's a bad choice. That's my theory at least

  • So wouldn't this mean that some humans survived the flood?

    @duswil3934@duswil39342 ай бұрын
    • It might. There are a few theories on that. Some think there was a second incident where the Sons of God created Nephilim, others think the flood was local, and some even would say that someone on the Ark was a descendant of the Nephilim. I don't know which one is correct, but there is a surprisingly strong case for a local flood interpretation based on the original language. I just made a video on that actually, and I have one on how the Nephilim may have survived the flood. I'll post them below: Local vs Global flood theories, based on the original Hebrew language: kzhead.info/sun/lNqip7mQjqmii68/bejne.html How the Nephilim may have survived or returned after the flood: kzhead.info/sun/nseilcyJm5SsZp8/bejne.html

    @KevinTyree-sk5fi@KevinTyree-sk5fiКүн бұрын
  • Just the mention of Genocide and God together is nonsense. God is the reason the for life and the sustainer of it. Without HIM we are nothing. So if God decides to take a life it’s well within his right to do without it being considered murder or genocide. People keep trying to keep and explain away this as if God needs to be accountable when he is the source & he can do what he chooses to do with life.

  • The ancient isrialites where part of the cannanites lol. This story is mythology, it didn't really happen. The biblical god is a mix of 2 gods of the cannanite pantheon, El and Yahweh. Originally the Isrialites mainly worshipped El whose symbol was the bull. (you know the thing the Isrialites where worshipping when Moses came down from the mountain). Eventually the cult of Yahweh took over and that's when they incorporated ideas from El and Yahweh and the biblical god came to be.
