As a traditional artist I can tell y'all we use ✨EVERYTHING ✨ we can find just for a bit more realism added to our final piece. Like seriously I once drew on a small paper towel since I had no paper to draw on. Edit: I also shaded pencil with paper towels, q-tips, make up wipes, fingers, pencil technique, sticky note thingy,

She's doing that because she's in the military. If you're a woman with long hair, there's strict regulations about how you can wear it, and it's pretty consistently a very neat bun. I've seen a few military youtubers who talked about this; dental floss is a trick to neaten the hair down so you don't get yelled at. They want it *that* neat, and they want you ready quickly. Flossing your hair down gets you ready on time.

And my uniform is neat and no messy before comp (and if I was one of the bands that have the shiny shoes which is usually most I would have to shine my shoes but we got these ones that don't need to be shined) Sorry for long comment than get away from concept bu t I am in dance (but I am taking a little break right now) and my dance teacher would always say for recitals if she saw us with fly aways she would come running with her hairspray for our hair

Like when you run, if you don’t run often it’s not gonna feel good. Same fore your gums, if you don’t floss often their gonna bleed. Hopefully that makes sense!
