I Can't predict a clear winner in this fight. They are both great fighter's.
Boxing "math" doesn't always add up, but if you look at opponents they both faced like Joe Smith Jr... Bivol had to grind out drawn out decision wins, while Beterbiev send them next week. In Boxer vs Puncher fights, the more pure "boxer," (Bivol in this case) usually wins. However, Beterbiev's "boxing," footwork & fighr IQ are criminally underrated. But most importantly, he's not just any "power" puncher who has long, drawn out haymakers, rather his fuckin JABS are haymakers. I don't see Bivol lasting a full fight.

I still cant understand how beterbiev bully his opponent in amateur 200lb he knocked most of them with 300 win and only 5 loses even usyk been knocked out 2 time even AJ could not hurt him and this is amateur match there big different in it they use helmet and softer thicker glove that can absorb more impact and right now he fight in 175 againt smaller guy no wonder he have 100% knocked out ratio. Bivol has the speed and skills to beat Beterbiev, but Beterbiev is not going to be dominated. He is just as tough and strong in the later rounds. This will play on the aerobics. Bivol needs to maintain his focus and stamina up to the last seconds of the fight. IMO, it’s a 50/50 fight and the ref will play a major role.

all of Bivol fights, he faced 1 jab per 10 sec. but pressure fighter like Beterbiev sends out 1 jab every 3 sec. Bivol will make many mistakes no doubt

How can you say Bivol can not hurt Beterbiev when Beterbiev has been dropped before and Bivol hasn't? Bivol is not the kind of fighter that Beterbiev can knock out. This means that we are working towards a decision and there is no way Beterbiev can outbox Bivol. Bivol is too skilled to be outboxed by Beterbiev. Plus Beterbiev has his own flaws. We are going to deepen his flaws by exploring it further. Who says we will fight Beterbiev in his area of strength. He better be ready for fireworks and fast footwork and movements consistently for 12 rounds. He will need serious gas to survive this war.

To me, it is odd. For some reason, presumably because he defeated the smaller, though not lighter, Canelo, Bivol is favourite to win and is being treated as “champion” ahead of Beterbiev. Yet Beterbiev is the one with three “World” Light Heavyweight Championship belts, against Bivol’s one. Beterbiev is the one with the 100% stoppage record; Bivol’s stoppage record is 50%. Against Joe Smith Junior, the most obvious common top opponent, Bivol won a wide unanimous decision; Beterbiev wiped out Smith in 2 rounds. The downside for Beterbiev is that he is much older and, at 39 he is inevitably slower than he used to be and could find it difficult to catch up with the undoubtedly faster Bivol. But, for me, I think, unless age suddenly catches up with him, that he will eventually do so, and that when he does he will win by stoppage. In this, I realise, that I am in the minority. And I am also aware that, whilst not a particular supporter of either, I like the idea of Beterbiev maintaining his 100% stoppage record, and retiring with it intact. Moreover, in addition to his power, Beterbiev is a good boxer and counterpuncher and, at 6ft, is the same height as Bivol, with a slightly longer reach. Canelo, by way of contrast, is 5ft 8ins and 2ins less in reach than Bivol. I think this will make a difference. Nevertheless, this is a more intriguing fight, because of the difference in styles and Beterbiev’s exceptional power, even than Usyk v Fury. My prediction, not with any confidence, is Beterbiev by stoppage in rounds 9 -11. But only if he has managed to catch and visibly hurt Bivol more than once earlier in the fight. Otherwise Beterbiev’s 39 years are likely to have caught up with him and Bivol’s blindingly fast footwork and hand speed to have taken over. Critical will be whether Beterbiev manages to force Bivol back to the robes and keep him there for long enough to land, as he has managed to do with every other opponent he has fought.
Bivol has never been down because of his safety first approach. Beterbiev, on the other hand, allows guys to punch him in order to exchange and to land his own more powerful punches. Artur sets masterful traps.
Wow, I bet you never knew the term "counter punching", one example I'll give you, Canelo is one of boxing's best counter puncher but Bivol had the best defense, hence all his power shots bruised Bivol's arm. Bivol is winning this fight period.
@@RiderGaim I just use another way to describe Beterbiev's counter-punching skills. How come Bivol has the best defense if he does not move his head an upper body? Because Beterbiev won't bother about Bivol's punching power, he will let him land his punch in order to land his own vicious right hand into the opening and... lights out for Dmitry. Artur needs only to land one of high right hand punches clean to turn Bivol's legs into a jelly and finish him off. Artur is the best finisher in the sport with a formidable killer instinct.

Both are magnificent fighters. I love their personalities as well. No thrash talk, no stupid pre fight reactions etc. Although Bivol is a tremendous fighter with great skills, everything, i do believe that BB will ko him in late rounds. Bivol might sparr with only cruiser or heavyweights until the fight in order to get used to BB's great power.
Bivol intellect will find a way. especially when the pressures on many give him a 30-40 Bivol just as determined just as hardened mentally.

Look at Joe Smith totally disorientated after Artur went to work on him - without the stoppage Joe would be in a home now. When we look the punching stats, Beterbiev lands 19.4 heavy chirurgical punches/round against mandatory boxers or champs. Bivol lands 16.7 pillow punches/round against a 5'6-5'7'' Super middle weight Canelo, Pascal who was washed since his 2 fight against Kovalev, Zurdo with 0 skills, Lyndon Artur who is not top 15 in WBC, IBF & WBO. He is #12 WBA. The mandatory boxers and champs land 8.7 punches/round against Beterbiev. The small boxer and the weak boxers lands 5.9 punches /round against Bivol. The opponents of Usyk 8.3 punches per round, for Inoue the opponents hit him 8.7 times/round, Crawford opponents 7.8 punches/round... Bivol with the same opponents of Beterbiev would have hit Bivol more often and probably Bivol would have lose against Gvozdyk in 2019. Gvozdyk was better than Bivol. The accuracy of Beterbiev against better opponents is 31.8% vs 30.5% for Bivol. The stats and the facts don't lie.
No, they don’t but you’ve applied things so selectively haven’t you? Bivol is the least hit fighter, with the most thrown jabs, and highest jab connects and the lowest opponent connects in the game. He said in an interview that he prefers to box opponents, than go for the knockout. Probably because he can do it easily and it’s safer. Remember, he had 11 out of 14 knockouts, and then all of a sudden stopped. He has not had a close fight in his career, so if that works for him, why not ?

Watch Bivol vs Pascal -- Pascal is a heavy hitter but can't hit Bivol. Bivol beat Alvarez by far more than the judges' scorecards showed. That fight wasn't even close. Sooner or later artur will catch bivol. It’s inevitable to get caught by such a dangerous guy like him. Bivol has to be more technical and cautious with his attempts, not artur. Artur is the dangerous guy, bivol is the brilliant technician but unfortunately he will get caught and arturs punches are just way too dangerous to get caught by. This fight will end like the gvozdyk fight, bivol will look good but once caught his plan goes out the window and he will decline, eventually i think somewhere between 8-10 artur will tko him.

Bivol's possibly the most difficult style Artur's going to try to figure out while Artur's going to be the most challenging guy to probe Bivol's defenses. Both have good chins and stamina so this is going to be a tough outing. I like Bivol but I predict this going into the late rounds. I'll say it depends who gets too bloodied and tired to continue. I predict Bivol winning by decision (if he keeps the discipline going) BUT If Bivol gets caught a lot, it'll pan out like the Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs Beterbiev fight. BTW... CHECK OUT Oleksandr Gvozdyk!!! He's an excellent fighter but got outlasted by Artur's gas tank. He was giving Artur problems in their fight.
