@@brotbrotsen1100 who cares about uniqueness, we want people to explore our cultures too lmao its always the same 5 cultures that get an absurd amount of rep, THAT'S why it feels so repetitive, its not just the fact that it gets used more, its the fact that it's the only damn thing people explore there's thousands of cultures around the world, and we want them to be represented and explored too in the way people have done it with Greek, Japanese, Egyptian, Norse, and British cultures (which have also not even been fully explored in media either, Hades still managed to bring a fresh look into Greek mythology despite the overusage of it lol)

I honestly was sad at first for the secret announcement at the end because i’ve already played OXENFREE, and it was a really good game. So seeing this I was disappointed until i realized it was a sequel. If you haven’t played the first one, it’s an amazing story and recommend it and then you’d be exited for this announcement. Seriously tho, check it out.

It's the rare game where there's a lot of dream logic, but the dream logic is still logical? If you've got a gift for thinking in metaphors, you'll probably figure out a lot of the hidden play mechanics without needing a guide or a walk-through. Just be warned that the hint system is less giving you a clue, and more like turning the thing into a glorified Wario Ware. It wrecks the difficulty whenever it's offered.

The Longing is an incredibly atmospheric game I stumbled upon last year. Very dark and depressing. Really glad to see it make its way to switch.

@@DarkLink1996. Phil Fish is the listed designer of Fez and any money thrown at Fez will most likely still go to him/his company. Which I suppose is why, if one believes Fish stole things to make Fez, one would not want to give money to him. There are allegations that part of Fez, the 3D swap mechanic, were taken from work Shawn McGrath had iterated on and shared with Fish during the brief period they were partners. There's a kotaku article where McGrath was interviewed about it.
I love indies but I can't deny that I usually give them a pass. There's a lot in this showcase that I REALLY want to play though. TMNT, Skul and Aztech look amazing! Art of Rally and Ender Lilies also caught my eye in the ending reel.
Honestly, I’m just waiting for satisfactory to be released on the switch someday. I’ll finally be able to play it while on the go.

I downloaded the demo as soon as they said it was available. I’m also really happy for the developer. He seems so happy and genuine and I’m really glad this showcase and release got to happen for him.
Please support this game anyone who reads this. A lot of artists (people in general) here in my city of Detroit don't get much support to fulfill their dreams. I'm going to support this man and help out a brother from my own city. Thank you!!
I am excited to buy it and try it out, but some of those movements just look stiff. I hope it does well though because it looks like he takes a lot of inspiration from JSRF and other interesting cyber neo Tokyo type of properties and I always want more of those.

This time we get a game in dystopian detroit, a futuristic Mexican Aztech world, a hitchhiking game with multiple locations, a game in a cave for 400 irl days lol, a roguelike where YOU'RE the lil' badguy minion who could, another roguelike but as a Samurai. There's so many different ideas here and it's great to see that they have a platform like this where they get a great deal of attention. I'm ready to play some of the demos and i'm excited for TMNT for sure.

Aztech: Forgotten Gods looks pretty solid, the traversal mechanics are very interesting!
I really like the idea of the setting. The artstyle looks a bit generic to me, but its the concept has me intrigued, I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out for it.

Even if none of these were games I was specifically looking forward to, there are a lot of cool-looking ones here.
A lot of these look really cool and a lot of fun, i'm definitely interested in "Skul" and "The Longing" the most. All these games have some dope art styles too! I've seen a play through of "There is No Game" and it is hilarious and I definitely recommend.

Yes about Silksong Hollow knight like A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.
I completely understand, and I'm not mad at Team Cherry, I'm just scared that Silksong is going to lose it's popularity and when it comes out no one will care. It's literally my worst nightmare..I will wait as much as it's possible, but I swear to God it better be good haha (jk, jk) I respect Team Cherry, they are amazing!
