With Elk season winding down, and Deer season over, we set foot to the hills and start our work on more Predators!
Coyotes prey on the animals we hunt for food, They are also one of Natures most abundant renewable resources. By hunting them we are able to keep a healthy population, and balance between Predator and Prey.

I am always unsure of whether I should give the stand a better chance by walking in farther or the day a better chance by making more stands because I don't spend all day walking. It's good to hear you guys walk as far or father than I do. I struggle too because I HATE when people knock on my door asking for something so I do not like to do it to land owners. Then if I do I feel like I should give them something. I usually do especially if I had a very fun hunt. I heard on a commercial one time that some people measure intelligence by titles or IQ or accomplishments but the true measure of intelligence is the guy who figured out how to get paid to go fishing. That is true with hunting as well..or pretty much anything outdoors or motorsports related. Your coyote hunting videos are good but I especially like your podcast with Randy Anderson. He is an all-star.
I like to see & hear about the set up. I purposely avoid the marathon SHOT videos, especially the NIGHT ones thru the scope. After 4 or 5 kills, it gets boring. ONEILOPS is NEVER boring. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all.

Man I have been having alot of luck calling em in, in this brutal cold and snow storm in Arkansas. I figured they'd be ready to eat in this cold, and sure enough, they are! ONEILLOPS fans don't come here just to watch coyotes get a 22-250 to the chest. We come for the excellent video, the great views of the marvelous expanse you all call home, and a look into the unique and often exciting lives of the Oneillop's practitioners. Shooting coyotes is just gravy. Don't give even one thought to the detractors men. They after all are just passing through. EDIT: Don't know where that 'fully disillusioned' tag is coming from. Had to come back. I find myself just passing over most coyote shooting videos these days and I'm subscribed to half a dozen. I never miss one of your videos. Please include us on more of your adventures, whether it's elk or deer hunts or just working the ranch. Personally, I would eat that stuff up. EDIT: Again, I'm 'reed Scott'. I don't know why you tube has assigned me a GD 'handle' and I have no idea how to can it.

@@ONEILLOPS Hey guys I watched your kill box video awhile back and got to thinking back when we used to make what we called meat sickles. We get butcher scraps the bloodier the better toss them in a bucket drop a piece of chain in it and greet it solid. Stake the chain down and pop the sickle out of the bucket and man the dogs hit it like mad. Of course it has to be cold out but it allows you to bait multiple areas with little effort. Give it a shot
