Nice car mate! Congratulations 🥳 Had my 2009 TTs 39.000 miles now for 4 years with no problems really. Two new window regulators and one rear shock absorber.Never broke down 🤞🤣
Got to love the Audi tt
Great video Brad, I’ve the same colour Daytona Grey face lift 2010/11 model yr DSG Quattro which I love. Done the screen tint, Res delete, K+N pancake air filter, yellow callipers and just had it remapped at Celtic tuning from 214bhp to 266hp, coupled with the Quattro and DSG box the car is a different animal and still returns around 30 mpg when driven sedately 👌🏾
These cars I have been told are absolutely made to re-map... Does it really make a big difference mate ?.
@@stevennewman sorry for the later reply, it’s like night and day especially as I’ve just had the DSG remapped also, Deffo recommended.
It looks good in gray, mine is silver, 19inch wheels, feel the pot holes but with the state of the roads I don't suppose 18in makes any difference.
Thinking about buying one of these, just wondering how much is a service and what type of petrol does it need ?.
Normal unleaded will do and service costs are okay. Dependant on which garage you go to
@@bradgay4797 Cheers mate :)
Make sure u get mid 2010 and onwards as they changf the engine a huge amount.... ie no cambelt, got varible timeing and much ore torque ie 207 lbt to 258lbt and the hp ment to be around 210 bhp. But most dyno at 225bhp
@@clivebrackstone1896 Thanks I didn't know about that. I was wondering why the price was jumping so much.
what’s the car like on bumps etc?
Very good not overly firm
Nice video mate. Got a 2008 model, had it for nearly a year and I love it. You sound a bit like Michael Spicer 😂 check out his channel.
Haha! Thanks, I will be sure to check him out lol
Any problems with it so far? I'm looking to get the same one
@@wooo1407 nothing major. I've just had a small boost leak that got sorted replacing the pcv valve. I've had it for just over two years/15K miles. It's now a Stage 1 and I drive it daily. Check out the TT UK forum for the buyer guide. Choose wisely and you'll love it. It will cost you about 1K pounds per year in maintenance/upgrades/road tax. You'll need a ODB reader and be keen to diagnose and make small services yourself to save some money if you want to make the most out of the engine and push it regularly.
You was properly unlucky with that engine dude. Is what it is though mate.
Just got a 2009 2.0 turbo. Hopefully it lasts.
Any problems so far? I'm looking at the 2008 model
@@wooo1407 timing belt slipped but it triggered my EPC system so hopefully that saved my engine. Awesome car for sure just make sure to have everything checked out!! Will update you after I take the head off soon 🍻.
@@poolnoodle5412 alright thanks man, wish you the best with it
@@poolnoodle5412 update?
@@haakn running like a champ. Absolutely fuckin love it.
How much is insurance
Was around 1k
I can't believe why it's around 80mph when the spoiler goes up either, I don't think you can even code it to come up at a lower speed either. Ah well at least we have a button I suppose. 1st world problems 😂😂😂
