This is a pretty bittersweet and realistic ending....😭😭🤧🤧 because there is no such thing as happily ever after like every beautiful thing people also grow old, wither and die eventually....we should atleast be happy and thankful to grow old alongside with our loved one.......I know the ending can't get better than this but I will cry a river😭

I am a Little bit so sad for Hae in at the end. So that means the brain tumour got her at the end or is just a „normal“ naturalistic death? 😢 so sad that they can’t be together till at the end when HyunWoo gets old.

Not forgetting people you love, having a family that sticks together in the end. My heart literally break into pieces when old hyunwoo keeping flowers to his wife’s grave. This is most unexpected clip in this drama. When hun woo said to hae in that he cannot promise not to get tired of their relationship (or a perfect marriage) nor that they will not fight over small things but he can fix anything and he will never leave her side. Thats the best line I have ever heard in a romantic series. No fuss. Unrealistic.. Trying too hard I Love You's... The writer of this drama drew from her personal experiences. She KNOWS what she's doing. Kudos to QOT team.

The ending was so bittersweet and beautiful. The writer is a genius. Had us fooled with so many plot holes throughout the whole drama, but it was worth it! The title really did live up to its name cuz I cried so much. Every episode was just a twist. I literally waited 8 weeks for this. Hands down the best drama of 2024 so far!!

*Spoiler* I am sorry but after over a month of emotional investment and ups and downs we don’t get a passionate kiss/ hug or happy montage of them getting remarried and more cute family moments to end with? We end with Hyun woo all alone and eventually seeing her when he dies? What the heck… I am glad they had a family together and had cute photos on the wall, not showing them grow old together and the happy times is a bummer. 😞 They made time to have the scammers getting out of jail and aunties dating but not them welcome their child into the world and living in their own home? That’s a missed opportunity 💔
Tbh I am also kinda disappointed about it but a part of me was also amazed that this drama didn't show wht we are habitual to watch.. I mean we all kinda thought that in the end they will show us their marriage, their happy moment but they show that is reality.. Even in reality there is no happily ever after, after a certain time you have to say goodbye to your loved ones nd I am kinda happy that they also show about the scammers nd now they all are part of family .... But yes they should have shown at least one kiss or proposal 😭😭

Thank god, I thought I'm the only one here who's kind of disappointed. After all this emotional roller coaster they put us through I thought that even the evil people were more passionate than the lovely couple! All passionate when he wants to die for her and she wants to die for him and freaked out when he was shot and unconscious but then like total strangers at square one with " 5 times holding hands"??? No kiss, no hug, what the heck??

It’s realistic ending. You grow old usually one passes first. At this time she passed first than him. One of the best dramas. It’s up there with crashing landing and goblin.

This movie is too interesting to just end this way.. Its a happy ending but not quit satisfying, honestly i wished the lead couple got at list 10 minutes of an epic romance on this episode 16 screen like they didnt really tyed together like other episode.. Although I am British I love k dramas and this series has been exceptional congratulations to the brilliant actors and all the crew. Beautiful ending which captured the essence of life and the inevitable transition from young to old but with lives well lived and full of love.thankyou from all in the uk x

I don’t know if I fully agree with the old man Hyunwoo ending scene due to the total finality of it and how their ending isn’t really left up to the viewers’ imagination, but at the same time it is one that follows through on promises made by the characters in earlier episodes, so I can accept that. Beyond that, this is such a beautiful ending, and has definitely become my most favourite of all the dramas I’ve watched. ❤
I would have liked for her memories to come back with the trigger of seeing the star in their baby's room, but I loved that couple of things referred initially happened. I don't remember if Hae-In saw Hyon-Woo (as old) during the flashback scene or just someone old, irrespective, Hyon-Woo was there for her like she saw that day + Hae-In came when it was time for Hyon-Woo to pass away :)
i honestly liked the old man ending scene. they didn't die unfairly, they died because of old age so we're reassured. and while people may call it "bittersweet" I believe that it's a completely happy ending because they met eachother as angels in the end, after hyunwoo finally died too. so now we know they meet in heaven.

I really wanted the miscarriage discussion to be handled well, it would have been better if they had discussed it well before E14.
i agree....i think the +85yo widow scene and going to meet FL in heaven was unnecessary....we all saw the Family PORTRAITS of them in a house,,,but they only had the DAUGHTER 7 yo pic only, where was her grown up pic dressed all up like the QUEEN 2 / II...?!?!?........LOL
It's a sweet ending but since we've been crying so much throughout the drama I would've liked more scenes of them like getting married again, honeymoon, raising their baby together. I feel like they didn't give us enough of it. And it would've been nice if they showed Baekhong as an old couple visiting Germany together.

I just wanna ask: why couldn't you have just given us a saccharine-sweet ending after all the tears/trauma you dragged us through? Ehn? Yeah She(writer) made all of as nervous in most of scenes even in episode 14 eun sung take haeins we where eager what is happening next to hyun woo who was arrested.. does eun sung make her to believe all of his lie..etc ..and between they added lot of comedy scenes which made us to get more nervous and was trying to test our patience

A happy ending indeed 🫶🏽 but I just don’t fully understand Moh Seul-hee’s motivation. If it’s only for wealth, status or maternal love, I find it too simple that she had to go through such a grand masterplan of dethroning the Queens that took years! I was expecting her backstory was somehow deeper like maybe avenging for some past tragedy she blames to the Queens. It turns out she’s just plain evil. I was also expecting some screen time for Hong Man Dae’s original wife but there’s none. I was also expecting a final scene of Beom Ja and Moh Seul-hee wherein our tiger auntie has the upper hand but there’s none. They encountered each other at the court room but it’s more of Seul-hee versus the whole Hong family.
Plot holes 😅, i wished they made this into 20 episode, it felt rushed

I would’ve enjoyed some banter at the department store( the episode was already very long the could’ve added that in additional 10 minutes). Sadly we didn’t get to see the moment hyun-woo realise who she is and hands over his resignation as described in the first episode.

Even though the show didn’t have any sort of reason to look out for a season 2 before it aired, still feel that they could’ve opened up some space for that - the memory loss plot would’ve been so perfect if it was covered for a full season, it feels a bit rushed to get them back together almost instantly with little hardships post-memory loss… or it could’ve been written differently so it would’ve been tackled much earlier on, and they’d have to fight an incredible mountain to rekindle a love that once was now lost… but QoT was pretty good otherwise for the majority of its run so I’ll give it a pass. And at least it has a happy ending so I can sleep well at night.
The memory loss plot was both for drama and symbolism. As Hyun-woo tells Hae-in, he too had forgotten their love (which lead him to the mental state he was in Episode 1) at a time. So, this time Hyun-woo doesn't leave her side even if she has forgotten him. We also, get to see Hae-in fall for Hyun-woo again even without the memories of all those moments in the past that she used to flashback to whenever we used to see her lover for Hyun-woo in the previous scenes. My only question is, how much of her memory does she get back in time? And the only loss that I really felt was during the scene where she finds out about Suel-hee's hand in her brother's death. That incident was in the heart of a good portion of her suffering and was a major contributor in why she was so closed off. I felt that moment would only have its full impact if she remembered how much she has suffered and lost because of Suel-hee's actions.
@@sauravsaha7465 I think this drama deserves more than 16 episodes, it's a happy ending but it slaps you back to reality on how life works, also I think they didn't anticipate the success of this drama, in my opinion one of the best k drama I've ever seen when it comes to great actors/acting, KSY and KJW did it for me, now I can't watch any of their work with if them with other actors hahah it got me pretty bad and I think it will take awhile until I can move on from this couple hahah

I think Kim so hyun sould be called king of face acting🤧🤧😭.....the last scene when he meets haein again was so incredible he didn't even say a word but the way he showed emotions that looked like of an really old who was glad to see his lover after a longing😭....is just amazing 👏👏.....I think after hotel del Luna I have cried so much of tears for this serial... And the scene when they showed haein s grave the quote written on her grave literally broke me(if ur curious go and see)....and the way he took out his handcarchief and wiped her tombstone 😭🤧...

some said the ending was altered and there was another version of the ending. however due to the massive responses from the viewers, the ending we watched had been filmed to replace the initial ending (Hae-in died at the age of 34) and fulfill the viewer's request with the happy ending.
