  • Nice video. As a resident of La Paz I might add that there are many authentic Mexican restaurants that are much less expensive than the places you showed. Visitors should know La Paz is a casual family oriented pueblo with a very welcoming vibe. Thanks for sharing La Paz!

Our regular places we enjoy include La Parrilla Norteña, Casa Jalisco, La Cocina de Maria and Tiguas 664. We find a more authentic food experience and more locals than tourists.

  • This looked like a blast! Been loving your channel and especially all your Mexico adventures. I was wondering if the RV park has accomodations for someone driving a smaller SUV with a roof-tent or just a stand alone tent? $$ for that?? I'm planning an Epic road-trip with my 2012 Kia Sorento and want to just slow travel throughout Central and South America. The hope is that gas savings and the lower upfront cost (for me) will pay for many AirBnb / Affordable (read not too fancy) hotel stays, as well as low-cost campsites along the way. Any tips for a newbie whose never driven farther south than Oregon/Northern Cal would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, and Cheers!...from North Vancouver

    @adriankung1625@adriankung1625 Жыл бұрын
    • Sounds like an epic trip. We've found you will have to pay to camp most places regardless of your vessel aka tent vs RV or van. Don't expect a big discount either. But if you're a good negotiator maybe.

      @EatSeeRV@EatSeeRV Жыл бұрын
    • 300US just to drive into Mexico in your car. Campsites are all expensive if you happen to find one because they aren't everywhere like in BC. You sound unprepared for the huge logistical trip you are planning. Wear and tear on your car will be massive. Roads (unless they are a paid toll highway) are crap and rough. If you break down good luck finding a mechanic which can fix your Kia. Parts will take days to get and they will charge you like crazy cause they know you have zero choice but to pay. You think you will save money driving down there? Think again. Better to fly to an AirBnB and rent a car to travel around.

      @DeeDeevanGogh@DeeDeevanGogh11 ай бұрын
    • @@DeeDeevanGogh Thanks for the input. Yes, I am unprepared at this point, for what is a huge logistical project. I could have been more clear -- saving money on gas and upfront costs versus buying and building out a van for the trip. Also Mx is just the beggining. I mean to slow travel all the way South as far as the roads go (Ushaia, Argentina). I also am aware that the Kia might not survive the whole trip as I want to make it - that has been true for many with "better suited" trucks, vans and other RVs, so I recognize that, and a plan B would involve flying to further points once I establish a "pseudo-base" where I get temporary residence somewhere like Ecuador, Mexico, Belize or Panama. Agree many of the roads are crap and the Sorento is barely even a "soft-roader" despite awd and locking diff etc. Probably, I'll be on toll highways in most places.

    • Literally traveled through Mexico for a year and a half and never got "robbed". Perpetuating a risk that can happen in any major tourist area as a fact isn't helping anyone. If you really feel strongly about it you can advise people to be careful as they explore because robbery is a risk. Not an eventuality

      @EatSeeRV@EatSeeRV28 күн бұрын
    • @EatSeeRV true. Just the risk is higher. I've unfortunately been robbed twice there. I don't believe my life was in danger at anytime it was just more of a shakedown and I didn't want to risk escalating or endangering myself or anyone over a few hundred dollars.
