fun fact: metal slash can appear in spirit battles against metal foes, and will delete their pathetic stocks, but the rate is much lower. another fun fact: outside of spirit board and wol, using spirits like metal face, metal boxes, or the liquid metal in kalos astronomically increases metal slash rates.

I think maybe Bowser’s tough guy ability is the main reason he isn’t flinching, since it’s knock back based... any other character with this setup would almost definitely flinch... I’m like 99% sure...

I guess this confirms that Bowser's "Tough Guy" mechanic isn't actually exclusive to him, but just a factor of weight.
I think it is exclusive to him, but since it armors him against attacks below a certain amount of knockback, it synergizes up(or down) with effects that modify his ability to resist knockback, such as weight

He still flinched. Nothing that gets hit by Critical Hit (Marth's Final Smash) doesn't even flinch. Then again, Dragon Quest logic! (Especially proven on the Hero) - Actually, Marth/Lucina Critical Hit is programmed to bypass Metal effect. But not agains Hero's Kaclang for some reason

How big can a character be? I know that the Brass Max spirit has critical super giant. And that mixed in with a super mushroom in mega smash is huge. But can a character get even bigger?
Maybe backfire lightning? Or stacked giant spirits like the great zapfish support with brass max
@@reddestofwaters I don't think that Max Brass can be stacked. He is a support spirit that costs all 3 support slots. I don't think that there is a primary spirit that allows both 3 support slots and has a giant ability. There might be but if there is one, I don't know of it.
@@beatziegraham6928 if it's not possible then maybe a spirit like medusa primary combined with giant zapfish? i know medusa only has 2 support slots
@@reddestofwaters I made the set with Medusa and great zapfish and checked. No. It does not stack to make you bigger. It's just the regular giant. Though I think it does make you giant for twice as long though.
Guess Ridley's the guy (Or reptile) for the job then.
And the thing is, even with high damage and Marth final smash, he didn't even get sent to the blast line faster than the speed of light like what would usually happen, he's still there for a few frames before he crosses the blast line. He could possibly survive on a good amount of stages if there's walls or simply being on a big enough stage in the right spot that he just falls back to the ground. This is the new strat for me.

Ok, while seeing Bowser tank this much is undeniably *awesome*, there's another thing I'm intrested in: how much damage would his attacks actually do while he's like this? (for example, his recovery move, side special, and side smash attacks) The other question I have to ask is that if K Rool were under these conditions, would it affect how much damage his Belly Armor could take before breaking?

Nice setup. I've found that out too, and Dragaux also has Weight Double-Up as a trait. Can you do the same in Super Smash Bros Brawl, where the Lightning Bolt made their debut since Mario Kart?
