  • I've been in love with the panda pied and lightning pied for a while now. In my opinion they are the best looking snakes on the planet.... period...end of story, put the book down. But I couldn't understand why they cost $2,800-3,500 dollars. I mean it does everything the same as the $30 ball python, just looks better. This video cleared up some of the reasons why they cost so much. Hopefully as they get more popular and easier to breed the prices will drop. Because I'm dying to own one. The hardest part will be deciding between a panda or a lightning... maybe I'll get both and bread them. I'm sure they will look absolutely insane

    @Ajay-Gainz@Ajay-Gainz3 жыл бұрын
    • Well you obviously don't understand the fact that they're more expensive comes down to all the work the breeder puts in.

  • We don’t question why you cut the eggs, we question why you pull the poor baby snake almost all the way out of its egg just so you can correctly identify its morph.....

    @karenb.9970@karenb.99704 жыл бұрын
    • The Huntress well, yes, that’s what I am saying. Cutting the egg to allow the snake to breath and not drown is perfectly fine. That is not what I question. Snake discovery does it in a very very respectful and stress free way for the animal. Small cut, then place the eggs back and leave them be to hatch at their own pace. But if you watch his video - most of the time he cuts the egg and yanks half the poor baby out... just so he can see the pattern and identify it’s morph (and know how much money he will make). Can’t he just cut the eggs and then leave the hatchlings alone for a day or two so they come out of their own? Then he can see the morphs without traumatizing the baby snakes

      @karenb.9970@karenb.99704 жыл бұрын
    • @@karenb.9970 First he pulls the babies out to see the pattern - heavens! he would see it early enough when the snake finally comes out by it self - and at 9:32 he stuffs the poor baby back (!!) into the egg by force. That´s really horrible!

    • yah your not supposed to take the baby out its egg it can die from not developing all the way so stop taking the baby out pls

      @temiko7@temiko74 жыл бұрын
    • If you notice the eggs already have small cuts in them, cutting the eggs helps alot. If you also look there is already a snake out of it shell and dried meaning it has been out of it's shell for a while. Pulling the baby out of the shell at this point would not hurt it, they are fully developed and ready to hatch. Not to mention Jay is a professional and wouldn't do something to hurt the animals..

      @madygray9360@madygray93604 жыл бұрын
    • And to the beginning of the eggs already having small pre-cuts, that is so if the snake is to hatch on it own it has a head start and will not drown, later if the snake does not come out on its own, you cut a medium large hole for the snake then if that doesn't help, you would pull the snake out

He opens the egg because the snakes need to breath. Same reason in the wild that once the snake open the egg, they stay inside until ready to go out.
