  • Thank You I received the sew sampler box every month and I definitely wanted to make this. It always helps to see someone put it together. I look forward to other videos of yours. I also love paper piecing. ❤

  • I received my first Sew Sampler box in April 2024 because I wanted to join the Peaceful Baskets quilt along. I was so pleased to find this Bobbin Blooms pattern and the Flower Girl fabric as part of the box this month. Thank you for sharing the process of piecing it together. Waiting for additional background fabric before I can begin mine.

    • This was such a fun one to make. It feels very fresh and fun :). I did a tutorial on the 1st block of Pieceful Baskets this week too. I'll be hosting these as a Sew Along for the full year.

  • I am enjoying watching your videos so I just wanted to thank you for making them. Your blocks came out great. That quilt will be sew cute! I liked the humble pie remark but that was an easy mistake when sewing. A seam ripper is just as important as a sewing machine. Otherwise we would have mistakes in every quilt we make. I have a quilt that one square print is sideways but it needs to be fix waiting for me to get it fixed before I forget to fix it. Thankfully it’s at the edge of the finished quilt top. Have fun sewing.

  • I like to nest my seams by pressing to one side, however, if there are bulky seams I will press open.

    • I have a Juki 2010 - love it as it also has the cutter built into the presser foot so I rarely use the button. Great video! 🌼💜🦋

  • Love your channel! Do you starch your fabric for your projects?

    @zanymom23@zanymom2320 күн бұрын
    • Welcome! Glad to have you here. Yes, I do starch- unless the kit is so precise that I don't think I will be able to make cuts after. I usually do all my fabric in advance of a project. I have all my Camille's Shore line on the drying rack as we speak;)

  • Why do you sit your iron up? Isn’t it an Olliso?

    @marilyngarrison9514@marilyngarrison951417 күн бұрын
    • I didnt stand it up for a long time and the fabric under that end of my mat started to discolor. Then I tried the silicone mat under it but I found that it gets so hot that it expands and bulges out in the middle. I tend to keep my iron on for long periods so its just to keep things from heating up too much. -Kelly
